While these videos entertain some, to others its utterly annoying, like when your sitting quietly in first class and some dude behind you decides to do a Airplane review..pressing every button 10 times to see what it does, taking pictures of EVERYTHING and ANYTHING, and talking loudly into their handycam.... I wish in first class there was no flash photography or video allowed.....
i flew 747 800 from LAX to SYD 13 hours it took i do like the 747 it is iconic but she was very loud and i was goin nuts and deaf at the same time, dont think i can do it again.
thankyou qantas A380 first class - I had the best flight from los angeles to sydney recently - i have zero frequent flyer points left - but it was worth it - LOVED IT :)

@Musicgutbucket much larger plane..so much room to wander around on long flights...in all cabins...bathroom was huge too. cleaner, brighter and quieter plane.

@uaekillerboy Is really a matter of taste.. or rather lack of it... The Emirates A380 First class suites with all the gold covering and silly wood veneer makes it look like a cheap Italian brothel... but if thats your taste go for it..
well, i used all my frequent flyer points...so it was 140,000 points plus $100 in taxes...but if you were to pay for the ticket it would be 25,000! and who can afford that? so using miles was the only way to go.
no unfortunately but next time if i am lucky to get upgraded again i am sure i will take some haha. If I compare to qantas, in cathay you get a bigger 'suite' with a closet to store your clothes and luggages(no overhead compartments). The seat is wider and opposite of you is a smaller seat you put your feet on, but it also acts as another seat with a seat belt for your buddy while in the air, so to chit chat or what not. And you are surrounded by like a half open shell, a lot of privacy :)
haha cute video! I took cathay pacific first class once, it was luxury! they have massage behind the seats and big 19 inch screen. And the food was top notch! I like the electric blinds in qantas! so first class is downstairs in a a380!?

lucky enough one of our family members works for cathay, so we get really cheap tickets to fly around yearly. It was last month i booked business class from HongKong to Toronto but they had no seats when I checked in so they upgraded me to first. champagne, caviar, olive, cheese. the 'bed' has a soft mat you can put on, it makes you feel you're on a bed. time flies a lot quicker too, 15.5hrs direct flight, but i wouldnt pay for full fare though, is really expensive even for economy. lol
