Truthfully if you're using regular spray paints TAKE CARE because those paper DUST masks do NOT block the harmful carcinogens in spray paints. You can damage your lungs, make yourself REALLY sick - even be hospitalized breathing the vapors - to say nothing of frying some brain cells that do not regenerate. HOWEVER having said that your art work is very very cool. Just be careful of your health so you can keep doing what you do so well. Seriously.

Do yourself a solid and get you and your girlfriend a 3M filter mask for bombing with spray cans. I love mine and so do my lungs. Trust me a hankie is no substitute. Home Depot has them.

I had one on but my friend didn't. Even with the mask I still had a paint rim around the bottom of my nose it was messed up.
