  • meravigliosa!! >__<

  • One of the best musicals about this era!!!! :D

  • 8 people don't know good talent when they see it... : /

  • God..She's. So.FIERCE!!!!!

  • funny..she says "dont sweat it i can do it alone", then later she sings "i cant do it alone" haha xD

  • Velma kelly reminds me so much of louise brooks with that hair style! :) LOVE IT!

  • that part was perfect for catherine zeta jones.. renee zelweger is just WRONG in that outfit and song!

  • I love the face she makes to the cop and I love his reaction even more. XD

  • "SA-lick your hair and wear your buckle shoes..."

  • ok where is the one the only Chita Rivera. If shes not singing the role then fuck the role its hers and only hers you idiots. Get some talent and taste Chit at age 70 could turn heads and make you want her and reaLLY FEEL THE ROLE YOU UN EDUCATED FUCKS

  • ok where is the one the only Chita Rivera. If shes not singing the role then fuck the role its hers and only hers you idiots

  • catherine zeta jones is amazing, shes my role model!!

  • I think people need to stop picking on Renee they're both sexy in their own way.

  • catherine zeta jones rocks

  • Love this movie. I think Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta Jones both did a great job, but Zeta Jones has unbelievable stage presence and totally stole the show. Amazing.

  • when the guy says 5,6,7,8 am i the only one who thinks the maroi theme is coming? yes ,ok, i'll go now .....

  • All I can say is, Catherine Zeta Jones stole the show and made everyone else in the movie(except Queen Latufah) look like amateurs. She muredered this role and owned it! Screw Liza or whoever else did this on broadway. Mrs. Jones has set the bar and nobody will be able to upstage this performance!

  • @aschoon01 O_O You think Mrs. Jones upstaged all the other people that have played the infamous role? You... my friend... are sadly wrong. While Mrs. Jones did a fabulous job... don't make such an outrageous claim until you have brushed up on your broadway history and seen the other performers.

  • @aschoon01 Yeah. How do you say that unless you've actually SEEN the Broadway productions? You should probably learn a bit before making such far reaching and pretty foolish statements. Did Liza Minnelli did this show on Broadway????

  • @Jayjen35 I've seen video of the Broadway show and it sucked. This is MY opinion and nobody, including yourself, can tell me if my opinion is correct or not. So please shut your Liza loving mouth.

  • @aschoon01 You do realize that Catherine Zeta Jones played VELMA KELLY and Liza Minnelli played ROXY HART for 5 weeks in 1975 as an emergency replacement for GWEN VERDON right? And from the reviews I've seen and Bob Fosse's resulting reaction I'd say she did reasonably well?

And where exactly did you see video of Liza Minnelli playing Velma Kelly, or even Roxy Hart on Broadway??? I'm sure we'd all love to see it. Not to mention having seen Gwen Verdon do the part on Broadway!

  • @Jayjen35 Do you know how to read? I said I have NOT seen the Broadway show. I've seen a couple videos of the show and that's it. I don't know who these people you listed are, and I DON'T CARE. Get off my back. Go act ignorant with somebody else

  • @aschoon01 You did say that you'd, "seen video of the Broadway show and it sucked". Given that your comment concerned specifically Liza Minnelli it is reasonable to assume that you'd actually seen Liza Minnelli do the part in comparison to Catherine Zeta Jones.

You also said that she set the bar for the role inferring that she was better than anyone who is or has every done the role. Chita Rivera originated the role on Broadway at the height of her career. Hard to believe she wouldn't be a ...

  • ...bit of a challenger to Ms. Jones. As someone mentioned, before making such claims you might do a bit of research. You can hardly make such an outrageous claim and expect to have it go unchallenged.

  • @Jayjen35 I've seen video of the Broadway show and it sucked. This is MY opinion and nobody, including yourself, can tell me if my opinion is correct or not. So please shut your Liza loving mouth.

I copied and pasted this from this thread of comments. Leave me alone now you ignorant, boradway-loving bitch. People like you shouldn't be allowed to post comments. You're probably some dumb old fag hag, OR you are a bitter old queen. Fuck off

  • @aschoon01 Well, we shouldn't expect anything different right? Do yourself a favor, if you don't want people to comment on the ridiculous comments you decide for whatever reason to post, set up a blog with a disabled comments function and stop posting comments on an OPEN forum.

Not a "Liza lover" at all. In fact other than Cabaret there's not much I that like in her work. Not that it matters, a comment that screams ignorance of the subject at hand, is going to attract comments.

    smh...later.

  • Chita Rivera danced and sang it LIVE!

  • McNulty would never go for Roxie.

  • I got to hear her sing this at a party in L.A. Wow, was she great. Fantastic voice and soooo much presence.

  • love this song

  • Wow, she's a really good singer. <3

  • 8 people didnt get to the gun in time, eh they had it coming, they didnt care about was love

  • Usually i hate musicals and think they're stupid but chicago was so cleverly done and the music is so good that i can't help but love it.

  • I would prolly die if I get one of the girl parts for this. I love this play!!!!

  • F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.

  • oh my god at 3:00 the guy she has her arm around is marcus, stanford's boyfriend in sex and the city!!! he did an episode where he danced for "all that jazz" too! wow this is so weird

  • Omg I love Chicago. Velma Kelly you are amazing. Sorry Fred Caslie you had it comming ;)

    Jokes guys xx

Seriously though I love the film <3

  • How the hell did Taye Diggs went from acting in "Chicago" to "Malibu's Most Wanted"?...my goodness, now that's a downgrade.

  • everytime I watch this I wonder how it would have looked like with both sisters XD

  • @Luv4Helena I always wonder that when I see the "I simply cannot do this alone" scene.

  • AWESOME movie; one of the few musicals I actually dig (the numbers aren't just out of nowhere, making no sense whatsoever).

And they couldn't picked a better actress. Catherine Zeta-Jones was amazing in this.

  • I've just been cast as Velma im my college production of Chicago! :D FUCK YEAAAH

  • I absolutely LOVE this movie! (;

  • 7 people didnt buy an aspirin from united drug so they shook apart.

  • i love this movie even my 5 year old sis is obsessed

  • 7 people don't wanna paint the town...

  • McNulty!

  • catherine-zeta jones was pregnant when she did all this dancing! i think she deserves some respect!

  • what does velma say when the guy asks her about veronica?!?!

  • @ImHappyYourHappy "She's not herself tonight."

  • Cathy, Cathy. Nobody like Liza Minelli in Cabaret. It´s okay, but Liza is the only one.

Catherine sings and dance and she´s sexy... LIZA is the cabaret itself.

  • 0:14

  • The goosebump moment comes right at 6:11. I luuuurve the defiance of the line, "Nooooo, I'm no one's life, but I love my life!"

  • @djmixnmagic *no one's wife

  • @djmixnmagic its actually 'no, i'm no one's Wife, but i love my life!"

  • I love this song. I think it's my favorite from the whole soundtrack, and has the absolute best euphemism for sex ever, "bunny hug."

  • I love when she close her eyes at 2:19

  • It's McNulty from THE WIRE!!!! @4:00

  • OMG! I love Catherine she has a lot of talent and I love her character in this movie

  • shes hot, didnt like the movie, too much music, but shes hot

  • @writertrump i guess that's what happens when you go see a MUSICal ...

  • @writertrump yet you are watching the musical number on youtube?

  • love the f**k you look to the police at the end :')

  • 我最愛凱薩琳瞅向警察的那一眼! 讚透了!

  • LOVE IT! x

  • This is some excellent cinematography!

  • Now thats a true performer...murder then a musical.

  • I normally can't stand musicals but Chicago is real exception - and KZJ is just brilliant too

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones is very talented...and broadway trained, actually. I didn't expect to like this song, or movie...but I do. It's awesome! I did the song in high school and it inspired me! I don't like all jazz music, but this exceeded my expectations!

  • I like the fact she says "I can do it alone" t the stage manager - and yet she later sings the song - I can't do it alone!

  • I have no interest in drag and love being a man, but if I could be a woman for one day...I'd do it just to make THAT entrance in THIS number. Powerful. Sexy. Damn!

  • "don't sweat it, i can do it alone..." no you can't! you sang a song about that!

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, you have the line right upon closer listening

  • Umm...the line is actually "Oh....her mother's blood'll curdle..if she hear her baby squeal, for all...that....jazz"

  • @anaihilator no its "if shed hear her baby's queer for all that jazz". im doing the show it opens tomorow at my highschool :)

  • I can't stop watching this.

  • I LOVED HER PERFORMANCE IN THIS MOVIE ABSOLUTELY CLASS... SHE DESERVED THAT OSCAR :D

  • Zeta Jones is so hot in this movie. Zelweiger isnt my cup of tea. I love the expressions on Jones's face especially toward the police toward the end

  • what an intro. i saw stars from the beginning shot when they zoom in on roxie's eye. even the most subtle expression made by catherine is so intriguing and direct, how could anyone miss a single beat of her genius? i don't know if i ever left the theater so...jazzed in my life.

  • what an intro. i saw stars from the beginning shot when they zoom in on roxie's eye. i don't know if i ever left the theater so...jazzed in my life.

  • catherine zeta jones is the best velma kelly

her all that jazz version is the best

and belive me iv seen all the actresses who did this number here in youtube

Pia was reall good, roxane franco very good , Bebbe just ok, and many more

    CZJ was amazing

    she derved her oscar

  • Hey but did you Caroline O'Connor do it on Broadway. Looking for a YouTube video but can't find one. She also did it in Melbourne and she was amazing

  • Comment removed

  • @sarizonana

i havent seen caroline O´ connor doing all that jazz but i saw the cell block tango with her and she was very good

but still catherine is my favorite Vellma kelly

  • Wonder if this lady is too good looking to get a lot of roles. Lacks that element of sympathy. Still, she plays a great, dancing, singing, psychopath.

  • Loveee this movie. Amazing!

  • i kno that this has probably been edited but it siunds amazing!!

  • I'm singing this at school with the choir ;)

  • I love how Velma (Catherine Zeta-Jones) gives the policemen an up yours type of look toward the end. lol. classic and awesome.

  • She should have won 8 Oscars! I saw the original show 7 times and the movie far exceeded my wildest dreams.

  • just look at liza minnelli singing this, theres no comparison

  • It occurs to me that Velma Kelly is like Ke$ha, only in the 30s.

  • @KillTheToy11 this was set in the 20's not the 30's.

  • HOT

  • ok

  • Oh my im gonna have to sing and DANCE this for audicion at choir! my so streess i wish i could be as sexy as catherine XD!!!

  • I wonder what it would have been like with both sisters

  • @Adephegia i agree totally, very curious to know XD

  • Am I the only one who finds Renee Zelweger totally unappealing? Catherine Zeta Jones is so much better..

  • @Free2bepurp No, you're not.

  • @Free2bepurp Renee is appealing! :D

  • @Free2bepurp FANTASTIC actor though, she's not bad though :)

  • @Free2bepurp not the only one but find her sexy.In that movie its hard since she play a pure idiot...

  • @Free2bepurp I think Renee Zelweger was awesome looking until the day she had gotten all that plastic surgery but her and Catherine Zeta Jones are a two totally different kind of pretty.

  • CATHERINE ZETA-JONES IS TO DIE FOR IN THIS MOVIE!

  • Fav movie! Fav song! =)

  • Happy Birthday, Catherine Zeta Jones, a.k.a. Ms. Sexy Legs!

  • fABULOUS BEST SHOW EVER.!!!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE CATHERINE ZETA JONES!!

  • 6:16 >> 6:17 the most exciting "I love my life"

Catherine Zeta Jone is perfect in this movie!!!

  • I love her face at 6:25-6:26! "Yeah, don't even try to interrupt me while I'm on stage!"

  • @Vivien1 I was thinking the same thing.

  • this was a very good movie, and i'm not big on musicals

  • I love this song so much, I've been wanting to sing a fan dub to it, but I have no clue how to post/make videos for youtube *feels stupid*

  • 4:16 "Right up here is where I store the juice" mmmm I want some juice

  • the movie All that Jazz is about the life and death of Bob Fosse

  • Amazing.

  • welke gek vind dit nou niet leuk!

    Heerlijk, nummer!

  • I freakin' LOVE, love...LOVE...this movie!! :-D

  • It's true that she recorded the song seperate in a recording studio then when she was dancing she just mimed to it ,, it's on the special features of the DVD before anyone says I know nothing either way I still think she's super :)

  • i did not know that catherina zeta jones could sing, how can it b,it must b a voice over,i m not knockin catherna she is a sexy woman

  • @bozo828 she grew up working on broadway and its not a voice over all the actors and actresses did their own singing

  • Sorry but the musical is crazy better than the film. Catherine Zeta Jones isn't half bad in this but she will never ever come to the standards of the likes of chita riviera or Ruthie Henshall. Remember all this was done in a studio and probably recorded a million times until they got it right. Also it makes me sad that All That Jazz is such a big number in the stage show and I feel like the really downplayed it in the film.

  • Awesome movie ! magnificent characters, spectacular OST !! :) thanks for sharing

  • sorry but who ever disliked this video knows nothing about performing, singing, dancing, acting or musical theatre in general! its amazing and they really need to sort their heads out!

  • Everything about this movie was perfect. The songs were amazing, all the actors were very talented (and cast in all the right roles), and it was the most accurate portrayal of the American legal system that I've ever seen. Everything about it is just as applicable today as it was back then.

  • love it...just love it

  • Great movie and song, when i watch it i just keep rewinding it to this part over and over again!

  • I can see the Ragtime roots of Jazz in this song! Awesome!

  • Two jazz babes moving as one

lol every time i see that i think

    they're definitely moving as one

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones is a freaking goddess. I LOVE HER!!!!!! <3

  • omg absolutely fantastic! so inspiring!!!!

  • this is one of the best movies ever

  • I loved this movie. Catherine-Zeta Jones is talented and this movie pulled talent out of many cast members.

  • Best movie She has a good voice

  • We 9-13 year olds have to dance to this song... And the Musical Theater teacher told us to act, "Night Club Sexy"

And we're like, WE ARE ONLY LITTLE KIDS HELLO!!!!

And when she says, "Im gonna ruge my knees and pull my stockings down" we have to rub our knee. And then shake our hips!!! UGH

  • @TheAryzza I feel bad for you...

  • @TheAryzza Rubbing your knees and shaking your hips is bad? then why are you watching this video?

  • wowzo.

  • that's a whole lotta babe for Michael Douglas. beauty and the (old) beast

  • This is from the movie Chicago. Is about the musical with the same name.

  • what movie was this from?
