  • hehe har du en hund da? :P

  • I think it's smart to start up very slowly and take off the sound after a short while before the dog gets anxious. Then try again, always turn it off again before the dog gets nervous. And continue that way. If you play it too loud so the dog gets nervous and then shut it off, he will not learn anything. You have to teach the dog's brain that it can continue to relax, because the sound is not dangerous and will go away if he relaxes. Good luck :)

  • Takk for at du postet denne.

  • Thanks for the vid. My dog is now perfectly calm at the highest sound level, where he would get nervous only two weeks ago at a little less than half of max. At least in my bedroom ;-) Now it is time to try in some other rooms (wuh, only four days til New Year - don't think we will make it perfectly).

I have also tried some other fireworks-files, but whether they are just bad for dog training or this video just have made Møffe relax, then he didn't bother at all.

  • my dog jumped off me :P

Now she is walking around and crying :(

  • I realise this is late to start training your dog to get used to these sounds. But it's better late than never. My dog is currently laying down, resting her head on her paws. But she's looks kind of worried. The sound isn't very loud, but she's showing improvement already, though! Last time, she started to freak out a bit, when the sound were this loud :).

  • good for my puppy...socialization, so he won't be afraid. i read this in training manual. she is fine with it

  • makes my dog tired

  • my dogs tail went down and he started cocking his head at the computer :/

  • @slcraddock Ah, how cute. Hope he/her is doing fine.

  • @fiolinisten hehe - he was a bit worried on bonfire night though!

  • @fiolinisten same here.. :( hmmm, i'll try it later on the stereo. i'm using my laptop speakers ... maybe it'll work.

  • @GeorginaEa Perhaps you need to turn the volume up really loud? How about connecting to a big sound system? These are just suggestions.
