My doctor will always be Christopher Eccleston. And when he moved on, David Tennant brought something new to the table. As sad as I am to see David go, something new is what makes Doctor who exactly that. Everytime you get to know him he changes. Its for the sake of the series.

I don't truly know how many times I have watched this video but it is by far the most beautiful one having to do with Ten's death that I've found. The piano piece that starts after 1:16 is absolutely stunning and perfectly timed. Wrenching and still gorgeous.
@gamezforfun The reason he said that is because once he regenerates like said he becomes a different person, and as you can see in eleven it is supposed to also heal his heart yes it did in some ways but the new eleven still seems broken and gives it of alot more than tennant did in the early days of ten, but that his character... basically a new man comes when he goes (lol literally) and replaces him, and he changes his mind that he wants to die, thats my view on it anyways.
@gamezforfun I tend to assume that the Doctor doesn't know for sure if regeneration = dying. It's a philosophical gray area. All versions of the Doctor have perfect memories of their past lives, and many (if not all) of the same character traits. Yet, no one knows what makes us who we are and so, if one body is physically destroyed, whose to say the soul isn't as well? It's same argument with teleportation: would you be the same person as your duplicate self? That's why he's scared.
This is simply an amazing piece of artwork. The music is amazing, the doctor is amazing, the non-conventional way you've edited this together leaves me speechless. And crying. Thank you.

I just have to tell you how absolutely STUNNING this video is. I think you captured Ten's death and the things he struggled with perfectly with the editing and your music choices and his dialogue. It was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. I still miss Ten deeply, he will always be my doctor, and this video was perfect for him. Thank you for this lovely piece of work. Amazing job.

I don't truly know how many times I have watched this video but it is by far the most beautiful one having to do with Ten's death that I've found. The piano piece that starts after 1:16 is absolutely stunning and perfectly timed. Wrenching and still gorgeous.

@gamezforfun The reason he said that is because once he regenerates like said he becomes a different person, and as you can see in eleven it is supposed to also heal his heart yes it did in some ways but the new eleven still seems broken and gives it of alot more than tennant did in the early days of ten, but that his character... basically a new man comes when he goes (lol literally) and replaces him, and he changes his mind that he wants to die, thats my view on it anyways.

@gamezforfun I tend to assume that the Doctor doesn't know for sure if regeneration = dying. It's a philosophical gray area. All versions of the Doctor have perfect memories of their past lives, and many (if not all) of the same character traits. Yet, no one knows what makes us who we are and so, if one body is physically destroyed, whose to say the soul isn't as well? It's same argument with teleportation: would you be the same person as your duplicate self? That's why he's scared.

And I agree, 10s era was really tragic. Although I'm going to miss Tennant soooo much, I think Smith's era is going to be more upbeat (or at least that's what I get out of the trailers I have seen) and that makes me happy :)
