Everything seems correct, but I'd like to make a comment on the coaches. I would give a slight advantage to Mack Brown because he knows how to get his team ready for the big game (looking at last year's BCS game and the National Championship game 4 years ago). Nick Saban on the other hand was blown out by Utah in the Sugar Bowl last year.
Utah was a pretty good team, but not one to get destroyed by.
Correction, Nick Saban is 2-1 in BCS bowl games. Mack Brown has a slight edge being 3-0. But Saban has a great bowl record. They are both pretty much equals in the coaching world. And Utah dominated Alabama, but saying they destroyed them is going a little over board. A 14 point win isn't exactly destroying a team.
To finish up my comment. BCS implemented in 1999 it looks.

and finally prior to all that we had the most appearances at 51 with a win history of 29 the best record. So its hard to give an edge over the past 10 years. This was what they consider the death penalty and those who go on the "death penalty" probation takes about 10 year to recover. But thern again we should not have found ourself in some of those postions.
Bams is 0-2 in BCS Bowls and Texas is 3-0?That would be ok if you were comparing apples to apples but remember the BCS has only been around since 1999. Then we were not bowl eligible in 2002-03 and probation from 02-06. Then we lost 21 scholorships in the same period. This year over a 20 dollar free book we were sanctioned again which resulted in vacating 21 wins. Not to mention the time prior going into a bcs world we were put under a bowl ban because of langham.
Look in your heart Texas fans. Do you really think the 'Horns stand a chance against the Tide? Now if it was TCU (which i believe it should have been), Alabama would have a good game facing them in a few days....but it's not.
It doesn't change the advantage you left off Trent Richardson and Roy Upchurch for running backs. Richardson would be a starter at any other SEC school and so would Upchurch. Bama is stacked in this position. If Texas feels like they're getting to Ingram, Richardson will come in and throw 'em something different.

On paper, UT's offense does look better but we all know SEC defenses are so much better. It's really nothing to say that UT has offensive advantage when they've only played Big 12 D's which are weak. The best D they faced all year was Nebraska. Colt McCoy even said it's one of the best D's they've played all year. If he thought Suh & Company were tough, wait till he meets Mt. Cody, Rolando McClain, Arenas, and a slew of other top defensive players.
But you might want to look at some of the other coaches. I am biased, but I believe Alabama has the better of many of the assistant coaches and various position coaches. And Alabama has one of the best strength & conditioning coaches which I think gives them an edge.

Texas has 7 TDs through special teams,4 on punt team-2 on returns,2 on blocked punts. Texas is 3rd. nationally in kickoff returns. Bama special team is ranked 116 in yards returned out of 120 schools....Shipley,Goodwin,Monroe,Williams-HOOK EM.

How could you possibly give alabama the offensive edge over texas? bama's QB is one-dimensional, while colt mccoy is a dual-threat QB. don't you remember vince young trashing USC's defense for 200 rushing yards while also being an efficient passer? doubt mccoy will dominate like that, but i'd give mccoy-shipley and texas the offensive edge over ingram and bama.

Everything seems correct, but I'd like to make a comment on the coaches. I would give a slight advantage to Mack Brown because he knows how to get his team ready for the big game (looking at last year's BCS game and the National Championship game 4 years ago). Nick Saban on the other hand was blown out by Utah in the Sugar Bowl last year.
Utah was a pretty good team, but not one to get destroyed by.

Correction, Nick Saban is 2-1 in BCS bowl games. Mack Brown has a slight edge being 3-0. But Saban has a great bowl record. They are both pretty much equals in the coaching world. And Utah dominated Alabama, but saying they destroyed them is going a little over board. A 14 point win isn't exactly destroying a team.

The time frame your comparing is the worst time frame in the history of Alabama Football.
95 antonio langham deal cost us 8 games and a tie and post season bowl ban
2000 phat phil of the vols mediated a 4 year probation. 2 year bowl ban from 2002-2006 a loss of 21 scholorships over 3 years. This year we were cited a text book violation in which 21 wins were removed from our win so considering we have been banned half the time

and finally prior to all that we had the most appearances at 51 with a win history of 29 the best record. So its hard to give an edge over the past 10 years. This was what they consider the death penalty and those who go on the "death penalty" probation takes about 10 year to recover. But thern again we should not have found ourself in some of those postions.

Bams is 0-2 in BCS Bowls and Texas is 3-0?That would be ok if you were comparing apples to apples but remember the BCS has only been around since 1999. Then we were not bowl eligible in 2002-03 and probation from 02-06. Then we lost 21 scholorships in the same period. This year over a 20 dollar free book we were sanctioned again which resulted in vacating 21 wins. Not to mention the time prior going into a bcs world we were put under a bowl ban because of langham.

It doesn't change the advantage you left off Trent Richardson and Roy Upchurch for running backs. Richardson would be a starter at any other SEC school and so would Upchurch. Bama is stacked in this position. If Texas feels like they're getting to Ingram, Richardson will come in and throw 'em something different.

On paper, UT's offense does look better but we all know SEC defenses are so much better. It's really nothing to say that UT has offensive advantage when they've only played Big 12 D's which are weak. The best D they faced all year was Nebraska. Colt McCoy even said it's one of the best D's they've played all year. If he thought Suh & Company were tough, wait till he meets Mt. Cody, Rolando McClain, Arenas, and a slew of other top defensive players.

And Will Muschamp coached under Nick Saban for years. They both run practically the same schemes. Neither team has an advantage there.

But you might want to look at some of the other coaches. I am biased, but I believe Alabama has the better of many of the assistant coaches and various position coaches. And Alabama has one of the best strength & conditioning coaches which I think gives them an edge.

Agree, Maze is probably the best receiver on the Bama team. He's been the main target because all the teams know Julio is better so they double cover him, leaving Maze open a lot of times.

Bama averages 230+/- yards rushing per game in a defensive conference. The only two "rushing teams" you guys faced all year doubled and tripled your rushing yards allowed average. Why did you leave out one of the best returners in college football, Javier Arenas? And you left out this important fact. Against top 4 pass defenses, (Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado), Colt McCoy AVERAGED 192 passing yards and 3.3 rushing yards. He TOTALED 2 pass TD's, 1 rush TD, and 5 interceptions. Greg McElroy's passer rating against top 40 pass defenses is 122.22. Colt McOy's passer rating against top 40 pass defenses is 102.94.
