Interesting, Adam "stole the TITHE", but God had NEVER told Adam to offer any of the tree's fruit as a tithe or an offereing to God in the 1st place. This teaching is ridiculous and a twisting of God's Word and it is also interesting that he is talking about Adam in whom fell not because he didn't tithe, but becus the serpent had TWISTED the Word of God and he chose to listen to the voice of the liar over God.
So, mr. copeland is wrong to say that Adam would have eventually been allowed to eat from the tree of knowlege because it represented the way of sin, the law forbidden by God. It is the law of trying to receive the blessings of God by the means of one's own works! the Tree of knowledge is the way of works which is the way of sin and the meaning of that tree even gets deeper when you study it and compare the old law to the new law. But what he is saying is so off and may God wake His pple up!

Pastors have to eat too, but not all the tithe money goes in the pastor's pockets. A lot of them live modestly. I mark my tithe envelope to go toward sometimes 2 and 3 different areas of ministries that reach out. Know where your money is going folks. It seems most church goers have an innacurate definition of tithing. Your income is what is LEFT OVER after all your basic expenses (food, clothing, utilties, rent, transportation, taxes) are paid.
I'm not against tithing, but I just can't stand the way organized religion twists it's meaning.

Cult and wolf is a little harsh. I’ve found if this preacher peaches on something other than the tithe, it’s pretty good and sound. Most ministers over the years have gotten this tithing thing wrong. This seems to cross denominational lines.
Actually when you think about it, if we are supposed to tithe to Jesus the way Abraham did to Melchizedek, then we only need to do it one time. That’s all Abraham did. Oh, and he did not tithe with his personal wealth, he tithed from the plunder. Abraham was already wealthy before any of this ever happened.

The Cain and Able story is found in the forth Chapter of the book of Genesis. The word TITHE does not appear book of Genesis until you get to the fourteenth chapter.
Saying God was mad at Able could have been just a slip up, that happens, I think he meant to say Cain. However, there’s still nothing in there about God getting after Cain about Tithing, it was an issue over his sacrifice.

The book of Genesis never said anything about that tree being a tithe. What was it one of ten trees in the garden, did Adam rip a tenth of the tree off and toss it up to Heaven. This makes no sense.
