  • A stainless steel algae brush is made specifically for this purpose and will not damage the plaster if used occasionally on black algae. Most of the bristols are contacting the algae, which has a very hard surface, not the plaster. Do not use this brush for day to day brushing.

  • if i use the rust proof stainless steel brush, and brush vigorously like u say will it scratch the plaster?
