can anyone suggest me with good strategy turn based-games with a good story to boot?

i already played : disgea 1 & 2, brave story, phantom brave, mana khemia, lunar, blade dancer, breath of fire 3, and all the final fantasy series in the psp

Now the original game, Astonisha Story, THAT had rather mediocre reviews (though half of it was due to the amatuer translation).

What do you mean "Bad reviews?" The worst review I've read for this game was Gamespot giving it a 6 out of 10 and that's the absolute worst it received. The other reviews I've seen were rather positive. It was a pretty interesting and solid RPG overall.

i really thought it was a great game..

and obviously leaving an opening for a 3rd one

(since its Astonisha story 2 and all)

I just beat the game today... the story isn't so great, it really falls apart near the end, honestly.

But I do like a lot of the characters and the dialog is funny as hell. The game cracked me up on a number of occasions.

Also, the combat is VERY nice for a turn based game and I loved the idea of doing MMO-like skill trees, the only bad thing about it was that for most characters about half of the skills weren't that great.

The ending is pretty lame all right but the story is pretty good but the ending is just really lame, in my opinion.

I love this game. I'm pretty picky on my RPGs but this one was a breath of fresh air. 8/10

A good song but the character design isnt really charismatic if you ask me. I'm waiting for the actual gameplay before going further into this. Oh also, if there's the japanese voice... take them instead of the US ones XD.

gameplay is pretty traditional. But thats all ive seen from that game. Its gotten pretty bad reviews. At best decent. But this game still seems interesting to me.

If the story is good then ill get it.
