  • I love Polkaroo!!!! Polkaroo rocks!!!!!!!! I love him so much that I actually answer my phone sometimes with a simple "polkaroo"

  • polkerooo! what a creeper.

  • Polkaroo! Polkaroo! POLKAROO!

  • @mcbaby There was only one time, I ever saw in which they actually had the chick on the show be polkaroo. She was a lot taller than the guy in that episode. Never saw it happen again, though. Were we all clueing in? lol

  • I wonder how many shots of Whiskey it took to get up the nerve to act like this on national TV. I mean it's great that they gave kids such a great show to watch when they were growing up, but MAN! This couldn't have been easy on the actors.

  • @MaestroDraven As someone who acted in a play meant for little kids, it's about getting into it and loving making a fool of yourself. It's hard if you're in a bad mood, so I can relate to the whiskey comment, but overall it had to be one of the best jobs I ever had. It's more fun than not.

  • @MaestroDraven actually shes the sweetest woman in real life. we used to have a cottage right beside eachother when i was younger.

  • @100SmilesAway

I'm just joking. I used to watch this show when I was little and loved it. TVO had all the great shows. I remember this show came on a few hours before Doctor Who, which I watched religiously as a little kid.

  • @MaestroDraven Polkaroo is seriously drunk and she's working for smack.

Otherwise they would never have the nerve to act like that in front of others.

  • The guys that played Polkaroo either watch these youtube videos and fap, or they cry in their beer and wonder what possessed them to play that part... Good stuff thanks for posting! :)

  • sweet cougar..

  • my principle played polkeroo

  • @benlorenc yeah right Alex's cousin

  • @daybreakersaaron i'm not lying, this kid called him polkaroo and he got suspended.

  • @daybreakersaaron i'm not lying, this kid called him polkaroo and he got suspended. if you've spoken to him he sounds just like him too

  • Rule 34 on polkaroo!!

    HAHA! Good luck!

  • id tap that

  • "Let's go find out what the Polkaroo is doing with that wagon!" - heh heh... I don't think I want to know, actually.

  • this was my favorite show when i was like 5!!

  • I used to watch some really lameeeeeeeeeeeeee shows as a kid...damn lol

  • That kid with the moon-pjs freaks me out.

  • hahahaha I just love the beginning!

  • hey pervert-roo, if I see you peeping in my window again i'm calling the cops

  • @wilkes85 a retard like you, that is.

  • @wilkes85

Fuck you, you bottomless cunt of shit. You think America is any better? You dumb fucks put a goddamn moslem in the white house. Even after 9/11, it shows how fucking 'retarded' y'all are.

  • @phuckizlam actually i'm Canadian.

And excuse my comment, I was drunk when I posted that.

  • @wilkes85

    Oh, OK! LOL!

  • @wilkes85 lol, been there bro : )

  • what is that thing!!

  • you know i remember the theme song to this. but not the episodes to this tv show.

  • Ok, but is that her real hair?

  • Awe wow. She went from Polka Dot Door to Queer As Folk. Thats awesome!

  • Oh my god. this used to be my favorite show when i was little.. this is terrifying.

  • Polkaroo scares the hell out of me

  • She's smokin' hot!

  • I've seen Sherry Miller in "Lucky Girl" with Elisha Cuthbert, and boy was Sherry acting like a real mother!

When you dudes see "Lucky Girl", see this woman cuss at Elisha for finding out that her account went downhill (Sherry REALLY said "bull*$%^" and "G--damn"!), and belting the pornographer with the Club wheel device!

If you want to see this clip, I can manage to upload that clip just to hear her cuss.

  • she must have smoked some goooooddddd shit

  • omg i think this lady does the news now!!!

  • 'Wonder how high she is.

  • lol

  • Wow... the memories.

  • What year was this? I don't remember this woman.

  • holy crap ever notice how extremely low budget Canadian kid's shows were back then?

Oh well, vintage Canadian kid's shows are proof that Quality is better than Quantity.

  • Yeah. We never needed CGI to entertain us. Kids are so freakin' spoiled nowadays.

  • Polkaroo ...Polkaroo.. what the hell did polkaroo do?

  • And Sherry was also in the Elisha Cuthbert movie "Lucky Girl" playing her mother.

  • Polkaroo was actually running away . . . the reason the clip is cut is because she went outside to beat the living $*&% out of Polkaroo for embarrassing her on camera.

  • my dad said i used to watch this.... i dont remember

  • Same. My mom said it was my favourite show. :S Can't remember it at all!

  • I wanna know what Polkaroo was doing with that wagon

  • yea, makes you wonder why a monster would be pullin along a red wagon with junk in it. Sadly, we'll never know what was in that thing.

  • @OfficerCarlWinslow LOL!!!!!!!

  • I remember this thing from my childhood. Watching it now, It is absolutely horrible, way worse than I remember as a stupid kid! It ranks up there with HR Puff and Stuff! What in the world was wrong with these people!

It's no wonder I turned out such a mess! Wow!

  • Polkaroo gots a target on his neck..LOL!

  • he is not

  • POLKAROO IS SCAARY!

  • whoa.....i even remember this specific segment of this specific episode *twilight zone music*

  • LOL. Sherry Miller certainly has played some different roles over the years. From playing a host on a kids show, to a news anchor on an obscure drama (ENG) to a weed growing MILF in the short lived series jPod.

  • I remember one lady used to have a really shiny face, like she wore too much oil of olay. I think she was name Shelley. Dennis was another person I remember from the 70s/early 80s period. I saw him in person once in the early 00's, but I didn't talk to him.

  • I didn't know that Sherry Miller is still into Canadian showbiz. She also played Elisha Cuthbert's mother in "My Daughter's Secret Life" from 2001. Sherry can be currently seen in "Warehouse 13".

  • go fuck yourself lady

  • I think it was called today's special. LoL

  • Why do you think he is called POLK a ROO!!!! He was POKING all the BIATCHES!!!!!

  • Has anyone ever noticed how it's only the females that are able to meet up with Polkaroo? The guys never see him and are always saying "Aww, missed him again." Polkaroo is a real pimp, doesn't allow any cockblocking.

  • Damn straight.

  • @mcbaby YOU.MADE.MY.DAY. LMAO

  • @mcbaby Hahahahaha...One of the best comments in youtube history.

  • @mcbaby I'm guessing it's because it was always played by the guy.

  • POKE YOUR ROO BIATTCH , thats what he wants, he wants to poke her geaser ass

  • this is so crazy.. so old hahahahha i remember watching this as a kid.. sorta creepy now haha i loved it

  • Polkaroo totally wanted to hit that.

  • im tripping fucking balls

  • hey watch your Language

  • She must have taken a shit load of acid!

  • What IS the Polkaroo doing with that wagon? O_o

    Ahhh, memories...I know I watched this every day as a kid......but I can't remember why.... :)

    Good times though!

  • i remember this and romper room playing on the hospital tv when i had my tonsils out in the 80s.

  • I finally have PROOF that there was a polka dot door program. Everyone thought I was flipping out! lol! I also remember we could look threw the polka dot and see a short film on how things were made like crayons...How I wanted polkaroo as a PET! sigh*

  • lol my dad did catering for the show so he used to take me on set... I have a pic of myself with the toys haha

  • yeahh i rememberr that polka dot shorts tv show i dont remember this one :S

  • wasnt there a show called polka dot shorts?

ive never heard of polks dot door

  • Polka Dot Shorts was like a spin-off of Polka Dot Door...

  • it is not

  • i got nightmares from this show too!...but the host is pretty hot...lol...polkaroo's voice is really creepy

  • she's creepy.

  • That... thing gave me nightmares as a child. Curse you, Polkaroo.

  • Worst.... Polkaroo....ever.

  • lol memories

  • I used to think this girl was super hot.

  • c mon how can you compare todays tvo shows to back then ....No Comparison!....have one day where they show all the classic shows

  • The pokaroo was here??? And I missed him again!! LOL.

  • My grandma, being the post-menopausal old woman she is, was always able to accurately mimic the exact tone of the pokearoo when I was little. It was magical.

  • its funny how they call it "a" polkaroo. makes him seem like a wild animal, but in the polka dot shorts, thats his real name. unless they see different polkaroos here.

  • Truly one of, if not, the most nostalgic videos on the web for me. I had completly forgotten how powerful this show was to me. Over the years new hosts and changes took over the show and eventually I stoped caring about it, but seeing this classic brings me back to when I was 2 years old or younger. What a flashback!

  • HE NEVER GETS TO SEE THE POLKAROO!! He must hate that

  • is it just me or does she look like Rebecca Demornay?

  • Apparently I washed this when I was little and it was my "favourite shows" but I don't remember any of it O.o

  • this show felt so right, you know? it's like a guilty pleasure. i was hooked. fuckin loved it man.

  • hurt so good

  • WTF WAS I ON AS A KID!!

    CLASSIC!!!!

  • I'd tap that.

  • word.

  • I vaguely remember this show from when I was 2 or 3.

  • If I ever saw something that looked like Polkaroo in my yard, the last thing I would do is try and engage it in conversation.

And I sure as hell don't want to know what it's doing with that wagon!

  • OMG POLKAROOO, havent seen him in years.

  • Put this show on DVD!

  • Polkaroo talks like a Pokemon! :P

  • Tom Green watched this video on his show!!!

  • OMG!

I have always wanted to find this!!!

  • Speaking of space suits, is anybody else going to Polkaroo Con 2008? Get off your Dumpty and be there!

  • Oh yeah, she's the mom on jPod!

  • No wonder I did acid in high school.

  • yeah, you and me both mang. Between this, dr snuggles, dr dressup, and fables of the green forest, how could we not develop a taste for mind expansion? They don't make awesome shows like that anymore... and don't even get me started on Jeremy, that dancing bear still trips me out... not to mention fred penner and his hidden smoke spot.

  • Fake ass dragon or not, that's still pretty much the best thing I have ever seen hahaha! Man, why can't that stuff still be aired on tv? So glad I grew up in the 80's! Kids just dunno what they're missing out on!

  • I dunno, but they did play some of these shows as reruns on TVO in the 90s, I know, 'cause that was when I was growing up :P

  • She's is pretty cute.

  • man now I want to know what polkaroo's doing with that wagon.. way to lead us on.. its gonna drive me crazy! and one more thing HOW WAS THAT A DRAGON? she stuck her butt out and wiggled her fingers lol.. shes mad

  • hahaha damn I wish kids shows were still that great.

  • she's hot

  • EW

    u mussssss be ollllldddd B!!!

  • I think Polkaroo was a drug dealer...

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • That was the worst dragon ever.

  • NOO!!! WHAT IS HE DOING WITH THE WAGON???

haha this is so classic, best times of our lives

  • A lot of the cast for this show were regulars on Bizarre as well.

  • So what, the hell was the polkaroo doing with the wagon, I'm gonna die if I don't find out.

  • Oh my gosh!! POLKAROO!!! i loved this show!

  • heey, what was he doing with the wagon?!

  • ya i think taking acid had to have been a prerequisite to get this job

  • The host's and actors on these kids shows have the weirdest jobs. In retrospect the actors and creators of these shows HAVE to hae done acid at least a couple times to come up with this stuff.......

  • I am whatching the Kingdom. Sherry stays the most beautifull woman!!

    Cheers Yáll :)

  • is that the Mom from J-Pod??!?

  • It is indeed!

  • Hahahaha I cant believe I use to actually enjoy this... I know I was a kid but wow, what a difference over 20 years makes.

  • I missed him again??? darn, maybe next time..

    goodbye, aurivois, abeinto, see

    you soon

  • I never remembered the host being so hot..

  • Was there a dark haired host named Shelley? I seem to recall seeing her a few times?

  • Perhaps.

It seems alot of Canadian stars that were around in the early 80's showed up on this show one time or another.

I don't really remember anyone of them, aside from Sherry and Dennis.

  • Yes there was a host named Shelley on this show back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I remember when she was on the show.

  • Sherry Miller still looks the same today as she did 20+ years ago.

  • OMG I can't believe people remember this!!! I us to watch it all the time!!!! WOW!!!

  • Apparantly, space suits are really just pyjamas with bananas on 'em.

  • It's been almost 18-20 years since I've last seen this. Our local PBS affiliate carried it. Amazing!

  • holly. that was like so lng ago but i loved that show along with bananna in pajamas

  • that spacesuit piano part is so creepy yet so awesome

  • Wow! I actually used to watch that show when I was little. Wow!

  • this show was actually pretty fucked up

  • this was one of my favorites...but I remember being afraid of Pookaroo..LOL

  • i've stillo got one of those videos !!

    a used too woch this 24 7 !! omg !!

  • Wow i used to watch this

  • I remember the old Polka Dot Door... there was a brunette lady with a beehive kinda hairstyle. Does anyone have those vids?

  • She really should have stayed away from the brown acid.

  • 2 of my friends were scared to death of the polka roo...although i really dont see why

  • What was Polkaroo doing with the wagon?? I need closure!

  • me too omg
