wow this is really bad. check out "MSU Drumline - drum-off vs Michigan-Part 1/2" You'll hear what a clean drum line sounds like. Plus, the writing is so shitty for UofM...it sounds like they're just playing 16 notes.
how long have you been able to say that? 2 years. there is such a long list I can say about michigan state, but I'll just leave it that the record between the teams is 67-30-5 with michigan beating them by 37 games just in case you cant count, which is likely because youre a michigan state fan, arguably the worst academic school in the big ten.
HAHAHA now its Basketball season Sperm Burper now you don't even want to get into those stats Bitch. Manny Harris is a terrible illiterate Nigger. Go to bed.
Lets see, which do people pay more attention to and care about more? Football or basketball. That was a nice attempt in the national championship game versus UNC. Just by talking, you make my point even clearer about the whole academic thing by the way. If you were talking about basketball originally, there is not even closeto a chance that michigan is the worst team in the big ten. learn to think straigt before you have to clean up your drool puddle and keep from staring at something shiny.
If you think state got destroyed by North Carolina just try and Imagine U of M in that game. I also had a really fun time watching Michigan win there imaginary bowl game this year. too bad that game only goes on there imaginary record.
@algozino by the way, the basketball record is 91-71 with michigan leading the series. So the more you talk, the worse and worse your argument becomes. Its funny because I cant really tell which side of the argument you're on
And the MSU College of Education is ranked in the top 1 or 2 in several categories. And well ahead of UM.
Oh, and let's look at the Debate Team. MSU has 3 NCs in the last 7 years. UM hasn't smelled one in decades. MSU Debate competes with Harvard, Berkeley, Northwestern. UM is not even worth mentioning.
@MetricSU michigan is ranked higher in the education school according to US News, which is the main ranker of public universities in the US, but either way, michigan has many departments ahead of MSU, including the law school (which is similar to the debate team, only more relevant to a career), the engineering school, pschology, business, medical, fine arts, public affairs, all of the sciences and all of the math departments.
@michiganwolverine17 You might notice, if you read carefully, that I said in several categories. But it's neither here nor there. The rankings are based mainly on quality of the incoming students and research productivity of faculty. Neither of those factors has any direct relationship to quality of teaching. Yes, some undergraduates benefit from being on faculty research projects, but that happens at MSU, too.
Studies have shown that UM has no value-added above any other university.
@MetricSU What on earth are (were) we debating here? Oh well, probably should interject. I'm a U of M grad, and I marched in the snareline as a freshman. I have to agree with MetricSU, as much as I hate to say it. I'm confident in my future and my ability to be wildly successful, but it will ultimately have NOTHING to do with having a U of M degree. I have a B.S. in Economics, and minors in math and music. Job? Nope. It's going to take a MS in Accounting from EMU. Who fucking cares any more.
@MetricSU Drumline related: MSU's line has always played circles around us. They're very good, and a lot of credit to them. However, I would never say that Michigan's line is "bad" as many comments seem to be saying or suggesting. It is a respectable, professional ensemble supporting a top-tier college marching band. As a musician, I happen to like our instructors' writing/scoring better. I do however think Weber's original stuff is very cool and entertaining, and looks fun as Hell to play.
You shouldn't be so judgmental michiganwolverine17. MSU is as good as any other school in the big ten academically. Our programs are sound and top notch.
ILLINI drum line reigns supreme in the Big Ten! "GO ILLINI GO!"

@michiganwolverine17 Yes UM leads the basketball series, But lets look at games after the 1920s, and it is a much different story.
