I have the video with the hula kahiko performance of another lady who dances in the same halau. And she won the second place in 2002. This stiyle of dancing is very peculiar. They are just great. I think most of the merit comes from the kumu hula. Of course the girls are great also to achieve one great performance like this. I wish some day I'll can dance half of this greatness

This is THE best hula I have ever seen. It was sassy, it flowed, you could feel the emotion and the story behind the dance. I was both enthralled and swept.
