Did anyone else notice that the show doesn't make since with the movie? Hades didn't know Hercules was still alive until he met Meg in the movie, but in the show, through his teen years, Hades was always there, and he knew Hercules' was alive?

I guess they really wanted to make money off of the show that they didn't want it to make too much since with the movie.

@z4GoT2xFoCUSz It can actually be assumed that Meg is quite a bit older than Herc (at least three years, making her 21 in the movie), considering she was in a serious relationship long enough to want to willingly sacrifice herself for someone else, and then spent what we assume was a decent about of time working for Hades. So it's possible she looked totally different when she graduated from high school.

@Vivixbella In the movie, when Hades is talking to the Fates it's also the day Hercules was born. Then Fates say the planets will align in 18 years. So it's essentially Hercules 18th birthday at the end of the movie :]

oh yeah...actually Herc inspired Spongebob somewhat, theres definately a few connections. The whole Mermaid Man Barncle Boy thing was inspired by Tim Conways role in The Griffin where he plays one of two aging decrepit superheros on their last legs in a nursing home, and he was Perfect!!!

thyere really very similar. The oneliners are amazingly adult and surprisingly dirty, which keeps me entertained. AND ONE more thing, Bub....fabulous animation does not make a great, orsucessful toon. If it did the Simpsons would be in big trouble. Look at all the feature toon movies that were gorgeous to look at but bombed BIG time back in the 90s....From Anastasia, to Quest For Camelot, to Cats Dont Dance to Osmosis Jones To El Dorado{should I go on???} The animation highjay is littered with expensive gorgeous movies that failed to deliver what the audience wanted{although I personally adored El Dorado}
