  • I saw a similar rig at a local fair a few years back, the flywheel was exposed to reveal the works. I recall that the one I saw used a common 115V motor, but they cautioned that the electric version might be too slow for some users. Reliability would be my question, would love to see a detailed maintenance log for 3 years of use on one of the models still being produced. Should easily beat Hydraulic maintenance.

  • were can i buy one

  • I like it.

All that needs clarifying is the cost of replacement gears and racks.

  • fast and faster than you can move

  • Anyone have pictures of the unit without the red cover on it? I would love to see the machanics of it up close!!!

  • brill tool !!!!

  • Another thing is that you can't leave a hydraulic splitter in "neutral" where the splitting head isn't moving. Because that create back pressure on the system, I wish they rented these things where I live.

  • I ran a super split for 5 years 2 men 8 chord a day cut split and deliverd in central Maine. We tweeked ours with 2 bigger fly wheels and a slightly bigger motor. but even this stock splitter will bust through anything including knarly oak and Rock maple.

by far the only way to runa business 100 times faster than hydraulic......just watch your hands and nuts.and cut that stupid table off it kills a mans back within an hour and you need to use your leg to hold the wood true to0 the wedge.

  • The top model, with all accessories runs around $4500.00

  • What is the cost of the unit?

  • now thats fast
