You know what makes the BMG the GREATEST I think =is you can watch them over and over thinking is going to be the same show but its not its always different the music may not very much but the show does
The name of the first song is "Shadow" and the name of the second part is called "Exhibit 13". The significance of the papers are they are the burnt documents that drifted downwind from the World Trade Center on 9/11.
That's what Exhibit 13 is a tribute to. These pieces of paper blew into nearby neighborhoods in the days after 9/11, most of which were from the towers. Each piece of paper represents a life. It's very touching.
it's off of Blue Man's "The Complex" tour; the dvd is a little different but concert order is the same. they perform them along with "I'm in Love" (w/Venus Hum), and a whole set based around the 'rock concert manual', which is that voice talking about rock concert movement numbers.
don't recall the proper name of the first, but the second is Exhibit 13 (it says on the screen, anyways, silly)
That's what Exhibit 13 is a tribute to. These pieces of paper blew into nearby neighborhoods in the days after 9/11, most of which were from the towers. Each piece of paper represents a life. It's very touching.
these guys are very awesome i saw them about a month ago in chicago and the best part about it was that i was sitting in like the third row!!i also took i a picture with two of them.
Don't diss the blue men! They are awsome! They wear blue makeup for the effect. Why don't you go see them some time so you could find out what I'm talking about.
Me ands my friend went to their concert last night. This crowd was way better than ours. The crowd was better when I saw them at Orlando.Whatever.We had a blast anyway.
i never watched this video till now (i'm a huge bmg fan too haha). i'm glad you added these more deep/touching songs, because blue man group isn't just a circus show with craziness but it also has meaning (but the crazy stuff is really cool too lol)
Saw these guys in concert Sunday night.. If you guys love the vidoes, you'll go insane watching them live as I did xD nothing is faked, the sounds produced are naturl, and finally its much more then a regular concert of sitting and appaluding.
Rock Concert Movement #237 Taking the audience on a Jungian journey into the collective unconscious by using the shadow as a metaphor for the primal self that gets repressed by the modern persona and also by using an underground setting and labyrinth office design to represent both the depths of the psyche and the dungeon-like isolation of our increasingly mechanistic society which prevents people from finding satisfying work or meaningful connections with others.
Trust me, it's not much of a concert it's more of a show. These guys are so much fun to watch you just want to get out of your chair and start dancing. (Trust me, The whole place was dancing to some of thier songs.)
I've seen them in NY twice and it was the best show I've ever seen. Looking forward to seeing the Boston show soon. Their show is really hilarious and creative without them speaking a word. If you haven't seen them live you have no idea what you are missing. Last 10 mins of the NY show was the coolest part of any show I have ever seen. Also, "Sing Along" with Blue Man Group and Dave Matthews is a sick song.
if you dont understand the hubbub about them... then you've never seen them live... i saw them in south carolina earlier this year and it was the most amazing show i've ever been to... the acoustics and percussion of this group is absolutely untouched by any other group, in my opinion... not to mention it was actualy a funny show, lots of humor

Um...not meaning to offend any of the "Blue Group" fans, but...what are they actually meant to be doing? I mean, i don't get the hubbub about them - they're not that interesting
The name of the song used at the end of the show in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas is "Last Train to Trancentral," by KLF. It can be found on their album entitled, White Room . It is also available as a bonus track featured on the AUDIO DVD 5.1 Surround Sound Mix. The Berlin and Orlando shows end in an amazing re-mix of Blue Man Group's version of "I Feel Love." (This is taken directly from Blue Man Group's Website)
I've seen them twice at the Charles Playhouse in Boston. It's flipping mind-blowing. I think as a percussionist I find them particularly intriguing. Anyone who hasn't seen them should seriously consider it; the videos don't nearly portray the true energy, atmosphere, or feel of the Blue Man Group.
Phil Stanton, Chris Wink, and Matt Goldman are the 3 original Blue Men. I have read somewhere that there is about 60 Blue Men now, but I can not remember where I read that or I would link you to it.
