INXS contributed 3 songs to the soundtrack for the movie Reckless. It was used as a vehicle to get INXS more attention in the US and was inspired by my relationship with Michael Hutchence. The INXS song Reckless Ways was written in 1983 in conjunction with the script and my name is in the song..."I’ll take a chance with AMY, might look good on the floor". It is the breakthru movie for Jennifer Grey and the precursor to the movie Dirty Dancing inspired by me as well.
