I've got news for ya! Spying and cheating in all forms of motor sport is nothing new, even Ferrari have been accused of spying/cheating in the past. In a funny way it's a bit like the geeky Microsoft vs Apple battle. Mac fans hate MS for cheating yet they sweep Apple's own dirt under the carpet. If you were an F1 driver who was always getting second place, wouldn't you want to know how the winner was winning? Also, what is wrong with being proud of the good things that your country has done?
I still believe the Mclaren is the best sportscar ever built. The Veyron may be faster but I'm sure it will never come close to the handling and braking of the Mclaren because it is such a heavy car in comparison to the Mclaren (Veyron weighs 4188lbs Mclaren weighs 2513lbs) Both are magnificent engineering achievements, I just prefer the Mclaren.
The Maclaren beats the Veyron hands down on looks alone. Let alone the fact it's barking mad config of 3 seats, makes it the maddest car ever built IMHO :) I have total respect for the Veyron, but it 'looks' about as exciting as a suped-up Audi TT.

oh, did you hear that from a horse, or the top gear studio, because thats not even close, mclaren and bugatti are verry close, the 400bhp difference is made up in th 1000 pounds of weights, the bugatti is about 1-3 seconds faster, and if you look on the mclaren f1 officail site,, they actually got it to go 249 mph, i think you can find it here to, i dunno, but thats only 8 kph/4mph slower then the vayron in top speed!
No way, in a straight line, the veyron would rape the F1. I heard it takes something like 28s for that to hit 200mph whereas the Veyron does it around 14-17s. The F1s still a nicer car though. The veyron made the SLR look like a toy to be quite honest

Top gear isnt exactly scientific. A Veyron will beat a McLaren off the line and in every other acceleration test upwards. But the McLaren is still the king. Its not about raw speed and never was, going fast is just a result of everything else it does. If you want speed get an Ultima made up for a fifth of the price. PS. The Veyron gets props for what it does, but it still looks like a peice of crap and will always look like a peice of crap and IMO is best off being driven into lakes by retards.
Its only a car, but a magnificent one at that. The rpblem with cars is there is a limited amount of space on the roads and roadspace sint unlimited. Traffic is getting redicoulous and making a car not worth it

The Veyron can be driven by anyone, it has more control (computers) and thus limits the driver. And yes, the word "more" does come up with the Veyron frequently, including "more noobish" and "more ineffectual."

I'm going to stay away from the 'Nationlist' convo between Trulyloyale & jonneygo and back up mikenco in saying that this is still the best car ever mad......3 seat's = cool as fuck, the design of the body = cool as fuck and look at all the material's these guys where using before anyone else was.....Magnesium wheel's, Titanium tool kit, 24 carat gold engine bay for fucks sake!!!.... Trying to claim me as being "nationalistic" is a bit of a downer seeing as i was born in South Africa you ignorant arse.
Also, stereotyping all Mclaren employees as "cheaters"&"liers" & then going on to say that is "typically British" & therefore assuming that the 60m+ pop. of England has the same personality traits as a few Mclaren employees (most of the ones who were implemented were not even British) is childish & ridiculous.

I've got news for ya! Spying and cheating in all forms of motor sport is nothing new, even Ferrari have been accused of spying/cheating in the past. In a funny way it's a bit like the geeky Microsoft vs Apple battle. Mac fans hate MS for cheating yet they sweep Apple's own dirt under the carpet. If you were an F1 driver who was always getting second place, wouldn't you want to know how the winner was winning? Also, what is wrong with being proud of the good things that your country has done?

I still believe the Mclaren is the best sportscar ever built. The Veyron may be faster but I'm sure it will never come close to the handling and braking of the Mclaren because it is such a heavy car in comparison to the Mclaren (Veyron weighs 4188lbs Mclaren weighs 2513lbs) Both are magnificent engineering achievements, I just prefer the Mclaren.

The Maclaren beats the Veyron hands down on looks alone. Let alone the fact it's barking mad config of 3 seats, makes it the maddest car ever built IMHO :) I have total respect for the Veyron, but it 'looks' about as exciting as a suped-up Audi TT.

oh, did you hear that from a horse, or the top gear studio, because thats not even close, mclaren and bugatti are verry close, the 400bhp difference is made up in th 1000 pounds of weights, the bugatti is about 1-3 seconds faster, and if you look on the mclaren f1 officail site,, they actually got it to go 249 mph, i think you can find it here to, i dunno, but thats only 8 kph/4mph slower then the vayron in top speed!

No way, in a straight line, the veyron would rape the F1. I heard it takes something like 28s for that to hit 200mph whereas the Veyron does it around 14-17s. The F1s still a nicer car though. The veyron made the SLR look like a toy to be quite honest

omg, when will you people learn, all that horse power means nothing when it comes with a 4000 pound burdon, the mclaren gives a bugatti a hard time, the veyron is the exact same as the ford GT 90, a 4.2 thousand pound car, with 1000 hp and 900 nm, and it got the shit kiked out of it by the mclaren if any of you do your history.

watch top gear, it didnt get raped by the veyron at all!! f1 blitzed it off the mark bein lightweight and that, veyron took a while catchin it. the f1 gave it more of a run for its money than i expected, i was impressed with f1! no high tech gadgets but its a pure thoroughbread!!! :) top car

i very very very much doubt that mate, thats probly bullshit trash talk that. the veyron is a beast, but the mclaren is very very fuckin fast, dont forget it was fastest car for like wot 14 yrs or so! watch the top gear video, they raced the two, mclaren had it off to fuck at the beginnin, lightweight supercar isnt it! veyron about 2 ton. veyron only passed it once it 4 turbos gt goin. wasnt as impressive as i expected it to be!!

Top gear isnt exactly scientific. A Veyron will beat a McLaren off the line and in every other acceleration test upwards. But the McLaren is still the king. Its not about raw speed and never was, going fast is just a result of everything else it does. If you want speed get an Ultima made up for a fifth of the price. PS. The Veyron gets props for what it does, but it still looks like a peice of crap and will always look like a peice of crap and IMO is best off being driven into lakes by retards.

Its only a car, but a magnificent one at that. The rpblem with cars is there is a limited amount of space on the roads and roadspace sint unlimited. Traffic is getting redicoulous and making a car not worth it

Nice video. Too bad a two tone stupid car is FASTER and more comfortable and more beautifull and MORE MORE MORE reliable and more more more controlable and and and.... I suppose the Mclaren has the better feeling though but the word "more" exists lot of times in the case called VEYRON.

LOL, Veyron more beautiful than this car? No. More controllable? Yes. The F1 was made as the "ultimate driving experience" and thus for "real drivers." The Veyron can be driven by anyone, it has more control (computers) and thus limits the driver. And yes, the word "more" does come up with the Veyron frequently, including "more noobish" and "more ineffectual."

i totally agree with you..and if you cant drive a supercar...at least go over 2000MPH somehow...i've gone 700 MPH before...but that was in a 676 jet...so i dont think that counts. :)
