That was very silly to leave the desk unmanned. Anyone could have just taken a key and got a room for free.

i stayed at the travel lodge in Plymouth, Devon and it was just as bad and the rooms were even worse cus it was not cleaned proplerly there was crisp pakets under the bed and the skirting boards,window sill,and the tv was coverd in dust, so next time you stay in a hotel stay in premier inn cus they are very clean, freindly satff and by far a much better place to stay.

gosh they had the pdq machine out. thats very naughty. haha. my travelodge has a button u press which calls the phone n stuff so we come to reception if we're off doing somethin else. (namely going for a ciggy)

Same here, my travelodge has a phone base on the desk, and to get me to wake up you have to press the page button on the base and it makes the phone make a god awful noise whereever i am! haha

She gets to sit down...WTF!!.

Thats one long ass check-in, you should have use the old cougth, keys on the desk, mobile ring, slaming your bags on the floor, drunken barn dance or used your mobile to ring reception instead of videoing it.
