As a student in Iowa that pays attention to what's going on down at the state capitol, I feel personally attacked by Sen. Hammerlinck's remarks. I hope that he actually listens to his constituents next time (then again, hopefully there won't be a next time). I mean he's ranking member of the senate education appropriations subcommittee, he should at least be willing to listen to the students he's suppose to be working for.
