  • he got asked 3 questions and they were all posed to try and make him look bad

  • Great clip about time. I'm almost wishing C-SPAN would have a debate because I would think they'd at least be equal about time. What do yall think?

  • Think about it as having a nationality and a global culture. If we are to live in harmony on this planet, we must learn to get along and work as a whole. I think most of the world is more mature to the idea than are comfortable Americans.

  • Ladies, I respect your choice in Mike Gravel. He is also my second or third choice. But I have recently found out that he is for a one world government. Also he supports big government. Now ladies, you seem really smart. Can we agree that more of this governance is not what we need...

    VOTE RON PAUL!!!!!!!

  • You're right about one thing, Sen. Gravel does support global governance, though he's said (and I think we'd all agree with this statement) the world is not mature to handle a world government. Its not like if he's elected he's going to give up American sovereignty (which alot of people assume when they hear the phrase "world government". The real debate here is political theory for the eventual final step in human governance.

  • Most of the candidates are for world government. North American Union merging with the EU and others. This is all happening.

  • But the question is, is that what Sen. Gravel is advocating? I don't think that's what Sen. Gravel says at all.

  • Now, you say the Sen. is for big government, now I'm not sure we're all on the same page here. If you call giving the power of government more and more into the hands of the people 'big government'. Then yes, Sen. Gravel is for that. The crux of his campaign has been to (pardon the cliche) bring the power to the people with his National Initiative plan.

  • It does not matter who has the power. If the federal government has control over many issues and spends tremendous amounts of money, it is "big government."

  • But that's what I'm (and Sen. Gravel) is saying.

By putting lawmaking capabilities into the hands of the people, you inherintly take away power from the government, and the people can check every action the government makes. Leaving what they see the government worthy to have control over.

  • There is a problem with our federal system today. Both Mike Gravel and Ron Paul recognize the problem. They differ in their approach to solve the problem. I prfer restore the constitutional limits of the federal government to the National Initiative. I understand the arguements for the National Initiative. I just prefer Ron Paul's solution to Mike Gravel's. Gravel is a good candidate though.

  • But we can both agree that this is what the debates should be on. Its a shame we're wasting our time with invading other countries. And instead of having actual debates with intellectual thoughts and ideas being debated, we have 30 seconds (or in the case of the top-tier, 18 minutes) of campaign stump speeches.

  • They hate him, of course they'll give him less time. He speaks too much blasphemy...that pesky constitution

  • Am so sick of this bull...it's a combinatioin of control and money, I think. Thanks for replying... I was wondering and didn't have time to get any info. We figured as much...I'm a Gravel supporter, but Ron Paul's second on my list of choices.

  • Hello ladies:) Speaking of money, I am impressed that Ron Paul is very aware that the Federal Reserve is a private bank. When he speaks of "sound money" he is speaking of our money not being backed by a commodity..such as gold. Research on the Fed is what led me to Dr.Paul about 4 years ago. I invite you folks to do some googling about the "private federal reserve" to better understand how our economy really works.

    Good day ladies:)

    Sig>>>>Loves Gravel also!

  • Not even about money.

$5million for Ron Paul - he received the less time, even less then other tiers.

  • Butt....the good doctor said the most:)
