  • Forza Hajduk Split!

  • ISTRIA ITALIANA SEMPRE

  • sadasnja hrvatska ne postoji!!!

  • Ciao Christian,sempre presente.

Un saluto a tutti voi amici e fratelli istriani.RITORNEREMO.

Grande canzone per ricordate Boccia.Mi fa sempre venire le lacrime agli occhi...

    Un grande saluto da Roma.

  • hahahaha yeah right buddy, 7th century, 800 years before venetian croatia it was ours and since then has been croatian. Weve always held 45-60% and now today is 71%. Why was istria "gifted" to croatia because it is croatia pure and simple.

  • @jebac227 I just gave you historical facts which you ignore and repeat yourself..Istria was never Croatian before 1945 (officialy 1947 cos then you got whole Istria on Paris peace conference).... In 18th century you were about 20 % in Istria, in the end of 19th century about 40 % and now you are 72 % after an ethnic cleansing of Italians after the WW2...

  • @EsuleIstriano1 no you reapeat that it wasnt croatian until 1945, when it was croatian in the 7th century and on, this is croatian history anything else is lies pure and simple.

  • @jebac227 Historical maps show something different then what you talk.... But you are just an ignorant Croat..you are nation well known for ignorance and falsificating historical facts...God may forgive you..but we won't.....

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Actually the king tomislav map of 925ad is almost exactly the same as todays borders. So I am very happy and content with that. No need for gods forgiveness when god brought back the true croatia. We have a saying in croatia "bog i hrvati" (God and Croats)

  • @jebac227 Obviously you are blind.... During king Tomislav rule you ruled only little southeastern strip od Istria and nothing more...and this ruled lasted only for couple of years.... By the way "God" is wroten with capital G..... maybe that "god" with little "g" bring you Istria and Dalmatia..but God with capital G will return it to Italy....

  • @EsuleIstriano1 no we have both on our side, we always have. We beat you in war and in soccer. You cant win against Croats and never will.

    ZDS

  • @jebac227 In what war you beat us ???? Buahahahahahaha... You compare soccer..loooool....it's football you moron..we aren't in America..you compare football with a war...ahahahahahahahahahaha...come on boy grow up....with comparing war and football you just show your cultural level..but it's not a suprise at all every Croat is like you....you are nation of lunatics without history and culture and the most sad thing is that you as that are our neighbours....

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Well lets look at average croats vs italians. Italians on average 150 pounds 5-6 ft generally small people. Croats 180-200 pound average 6-7 ft big people. Bad Blue Boys of dinamo zagreb, trashed milan, beat up your police and your fans and leave italy with no arrests lol We would fuck you guys up any day of the week, in modern war or medievil war. Italians and croats are suppose to be friendly catholic allies. Its you that has a problem with todays croatia.

  • @jebac227 Hahahahahaha...don't talk me this crap...i go on the football matches in Italy for 15 years..i had so many fights with people which are bigger then me and only what happened is that when they fell down the ground shaked as hell, ahahahahaha.... You talk about Dinamo fans...i just remember that in Bergamo 1990 one of your fans with the name "Renci" loosed an eye.... In ultras fights size and height is not important, but the bollocks and speed....

  • @jebac227 And in Milan police beated you heavily and many of your fans were arrested so don't lie kid, and police beat your arrested fans even in the police stations so your embasy needed to pay a ransom so they can freely go.... Also search in Croatian newspapers how Torcida Spalato fans were heavily beated in Rome...even your cars burned....and few of your animals were stabbed (i support stabbing of animals)...

  • @jebac227 And about wars...lol, don't talk me about wars cos your state is established in 1991 first time after 1102.....lol..in the mean time you didn't existed as a state...... Don't talk me this crap about catholic allies, we italians are firstly christians and humanists, and you are just "catholics" and animals which killed christians no matter are they orthodox or catholics, you killed orthodox Serbs, you killed catholic Italians...you are animals, and Serbs are our real christian brothers.

  • @EsuleIstriano1 way to go.

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Its also funny when I see loud mouth italians get there asses handed to them when they travel to croatia. I dont understand this either, last year i see a group of 8 italians in makarska picking a fight with two croatian guys and then they got destroyed lol while onlookers were laughing, even the police grabbed the foolish italians and threw them in jail for starting the fight. Italians are all talk no walk, while croats are all walk.

  • @jebac227 It was also funny when i saw brave strong alpha croatian males in Muggia which are soooo soooo loud till me and my friends camed and when i punched the most loudest Croat in a jaw which broke...others immediately escaped....really brave... :)))

  • @EsuleIstriano1 yeah right keep telling yourself this

end of the day istria and dalmacija are croatian, were better at soccer, yes soccer american football is more popular so when european football is more popular ill call it football. And i would kick your ass and your friends ass any day of the week. Im 6 ft 1 200 pounds my bros is 6 ft 7 280 pounds, either one of us would destroy any of you.

  • @jebac227 Thank you for knowing that. :) Now i know that if we ever meet i'll bring my Beretta M9 gun with myself. :) As i know in europe is more popular european football and we call it football while americans call it soccer..you need to learn a lot boy. :)

  • @EsuleIstriano1 last time i checked superbowl is the most watched sporting event in the world so its european football not just football. lol i have a degree in computer science, i think i could school you any day of the week.

  • @jebac227 I don't care about superbowl and about your american football..i live in Europe and i watch "european football" or soccer as you say. Well then we are colleges, i am informatics engineer so no, you can't school me especially not in computers and as well not in history cos history is my greatest hobby since i was a kid....Too bad everything is on Google cos now i would ask you some questions about computer science..but ok..i belive to you as "always"..loooooool

  • @jebac227 have a look at a roman map! you talked about 925ad?? roman were in Istria 1075 years before your shitty king! whatever in 925 istria was under the republic of venice!

  • @Caligola93 Romans werent just Italians so im not sure what that has to do with anything. Roman empire was long gone at that point in history. When Croats arrived in present day Croatia, the first region that was settled was Dalmacija in around 650ad. So the craddle of Croatian history in the balkans and also the site of the first capital Knin is italian land??? hmmm I think you guys need to recheck history. Look at map of Croatia 925AD then look at present borders, its almost exactly the same.

  • @jebac227 Ok, ok. First of all Romans originated from Italy, but doesn't matter, the fact is that by culture, big part of blood and language we are progenitors of the Romans. Italian is developed directly from Latin language while Croatians camed in 7th century on Balkans a little bit mixed with local population but have a slavic heritage and language. Do you see the difference ? We didnn't camed from somewhere in Italy or in Istria, we originated from there while you camed here in 7th century.

  • @jebac227 Second, Istrioa was even in Roman Empire part of Italy or Apennine peninsula. How do i mean that ? Well, Istria was in Roman times part of the region called "X.Venetia at Histria" and that region was part of the roman province called "Italia" as you can see on this map: /wiki/File:Roman_Italy.gif Croatia from the map from 925 and now is little bit different because till the 1947 you never had Istria in your posesion and all historical maps show that.

  • @jebac227 So Istria geographically, culturally, historically and till 1947 even nationally belong to Apennine peninsula or Italy while with Dalmazia is a little bit different sutuation, i admit that Dalmatia don't belong to Italy geographically except islands of Pelagosa (Palagruza) which belong to Italy geographically, but stuill Dalmatia since ever culturally and historically more belong to Italy and once it even belonged nationally, with that i mean especially on coastal towns and islands -->

  • @EsuleIstriano1 the winners write history, and it looks like croatia won... come and take it from us we are waiting ;) we expect you to run home with your tails between your legs like you did in ethiopia ROFL

  • @jebac227 ---> where once was spoken a dialect of italian language called "Dalmatian" or "Dalmatico" which was a native dialect of once romance population of Dalmatia who were slaughtered or assimilated in big parts by arriving Croats in th century.

  • @jebac227 In the Istrian context, for example, the word "Italian" can just as easily refer to autochthonous speakers of the Venetian language whose antecedents in the region extends before the inception of the Venetian Republic or to the Istriot language the oldest spoken language in Istria, dated back to the Romans, today spoken in the southwest of Istria.

  • @jebac227 Similarly, national powers claim Istrian Croats according to local language, so that speakers of Čakavian and Štokavian dialects of the Croatian language are considered to be Croatians, while speakers of other dialects may be considered to be Slovene. Those Croatian dialect speakers are descendants of the refugees of the Turkish invasion and Ottoman Empire of Bosnia and Dalmatia in the 16 century. The government of the Republic of Venice had settled them in Inner Istria.

  • lol your own Pope at the time of King Tomislav(925ad) recognized him and declared istria, dalmatia, slavonija, and herceg-bosna under one Croatian Kingdom.

  • @jebac227 Better go read something about Placito del Risano, Istriot language, Dalmatian language. etc... maybe you learn something... King Tomislav ruled only in far southeastern part of Istria not on whole Istria, and it ruled there for 157 years... while Italians ruled in Istria (whole or almost the whole Istria) for 1500 if we don't count Romans...

  • Roman empire was very multicultural so to say Roman empire was purely italian is very very wrong, in fact in the later years of the empire, germanic tribes made up a considerable percentage in the roman empire that is untill the huns crushed rome.

  • @jebac227 I didn't said that roman empire was an italian empire..i just say that all romance speaking population have a heritage in Roman empire, and these are Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese, Romanians..etc... In Istria lived romance population which after the fall of roman empire after couple of centuries under Langobard and later Venetian rule became Italians...so by that Romans yes, they were our ancestors and they gave us that land to us...and you stole it in 1945....

  • I have many Italianfriends who have never mentioned to me that dalmatia or istria is italian nore do they care. This is a problem shared by a small minority of italians. Only reason italians were even there was because the venetians bought it from the hungarians. You cant buy peoples homes while they still live in it. Dalmatia is the heart of croatia anything and else is rubbish. Dalmatia will never be conquered by anyone else, croats wont allow it and have fought for dalmatia througout the ages

  • @jebac227 I also have many croatian friends which say to me, yes you are right these lands are your lands they really belong to you historically and culturally and Tito stole them after massacre of Italians and we are sorry aboiut that... Go read better something about Dalmatian language...ok ?

  • Istria and Dalmatia are not gifts to croatia, they are croatia, and croats will die to protect them, we dont say Za Dom Spremni for no reason. We just wadged a successfull war against the 4th largest army in europe with hunting rifles and pipe bombs. Your only option is to encourage the italian goverment to declare war on croatia, which will never ever happen. So that leaves a couple bitter italians on youtube making up lies to make themselves happy. When in realty these lands are croatia.

  • @jebac227 Istria and Dalmatia were allied gifts to you...go read something about Vergarolla bombing in 1947, on which way you forced exile of Istrian Italians, go read something about Foibe, about election fraud in Zone B of Istria...etc..etc... even Edvard Kardelj which was the right hand of Tito admited that you stole what as italian.... Yugoslav Peoples army wasn't 4th army in 1991..maybe it was in 1945 when it was the largest partisan army in Europe ---->

  • @jebac227 ---> and when this myth was spread by your communist authorities to boost a morale of a people....in 1991 Yugoslav Peoples Army was an army with an old doctrine and with obsolete weapons for 20 and even 30 years.... These lands today are Croatia...but these lands historically, geographically and traditiopnally belong to Italy,..as well as Kosovo belong to Serbia but Albanians spread like plague during Turkish rule there so they now claim is their..it's not their it's serbian land...

  • Oh yeah in response to all these "italians" responding to this thread and others like it. Its only me and you replying to eachother on this thread and very small number of serbs and italians on other threads. The threads that talk about the croatian war are a 100x more jampacked than these threads will ever be. Its a dead issue, Croatia will never give up istria and slovenija is fighting us for 1km patch of Piran Bay which we will go to arbitration. But I might agree that trieste is italian

  • And if you watched that video, it shows not only why its not slovenian but why it doesnt belong to italy. Ancient croatian language was founded there also with ancient croatian script. Many famous croats are from istria. Before Pola it was Pula, before Fiume it was Rijeka and today those cities are still properly named.

  • @jebac227 Ancient italian scripts and languages were as well fouind in Istria...go read something about "Placito del Risano" or "rizanska skupstina" which is much older then any croat script from Istria..go read something about Istriot language (or Istriot italian dialect)....go read it....hahahahahaha Pula was before Pola..moron...Pola is even latin name for that town..maybe you want to tell me that you were in Istria before the romans.... ? --->

  • @jebac227 And these Romans leaved these towns to us...cos we are their children...they give us a Vulgar Latin language which during a time became an Italian..they give us our name..our towns...our script ..everything....

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Italians Have never ever been majority in istria lol even with the slovenes you dont even hit 40%, italians in istria at there height were barely 30% while croats have always dominated at around 60%. Its in the numbers, what do you expect the heart of croatia is right there, its not rocket science. Lol the first region settled by croats in the balkans was Dalmatia. Fuck Pola its Pula, i dont recognize roman era cities because they were completely abandoned after the fall of Rome

  • @jebac227 Italians have been a huge majority in Istria till the Austrians start to rule in Istria after 1814...then started slow decline of italian population because of forced croatisation..still during 20s of the 20th century italians were about 55 % of istrian population.. Heart of Croatia, are you joking ? How do you mean that roman towns were abandoned ? Pola is Latin name as well as italian name..it's our heritage romans gave us these cities..our ancestors which ---->

  • @jebac227 --> lived in Istria were Romans and later after the fall of Rome they became Italians during a time....

  • First off Yugoslavia exiled those people run by tito, who is hated by all croats even though he was croat. Those italians should have known living within 5km of 4million croats might be a problem one day. Istria was croat before it was italian and Roman doesnt count because the albanians had it before them and the greeks were there before anyone. So by your definition it belongs to the greeks. Croatian majority HAS always been there. So just by majority its croatian.

  • @jebac227 Are you afraid of answer so you don't respond to me...or what ? Are you afraid of truth ? First of all communist divisions and brigades which commited these crimes against italians were in majority Croat...and Tito as well was Croat..and if you don't like Tito why you still accept his "gift" of Istria, Fiume and Zara to you after he expelled 350 000 Italians from there ?? Istria was once populated with illyrians which don't have nothing in common with albanians ---->

  • @jebac227 ----> and these illyrians were by the way later romanised during roman empire and when croats arrived in Dalmazia in 7th century these romanised illyrians exiled to coastal well fortified Dalmatian towns where they accepted Byzantine and later Venetian rule during which they developed their italian identity because of the similarity beetwen spoken languages of Dalmatian and Italian which are of the same romance group of language developed from Latin and ---->

  • @jebac227 ---> and because of the similar style of life.... Istria was italian till you expelled italian majority from here after the WW2 which is fact..and one more proof to who belong istria firstly is "Placito del Risano" or "Rizanska skupstina"..go read pon Google something about it.... Ancient Greeks only have colonies in Dalmatia 2500 years before Christ, while Italians were majority in Istria before 1945....you are idiot if you compare that....

  • watch?v=_2gw09XPcLk&feature=related

My final answer on this topic

  • @jebac227 Your final answer is wrong cos it's about slovenes in Istria which yes..i agree with you don't have any rights on Istria...but with Italians is a lot different story..we have full rights on Istria cos historically and culturally and even geographically (cos Istria is part of Apennine peninsula) belong to italian nation...

  • Croatian population in Croatia.

    4.400 000

Serbian population in Croatia less than

    100 000

Italian population in Croatia 20 000 hahahahahahaha.

All 20 000 lives in Istria. 145 000 Croats lives only in Rijeka/Fiume.

So come and get it you filthy Serbo-Italian PUSSIES!

  • Italians are gypsies

    Croatians are Aryan White people

Dalmatia is in the right hands

  • @EsuleIstriano1 1400 years buddy, get over it, its been long long gone now. Yeah Romans built cities in dalmatia, we vastly improved them. We dont rob people, its a simple matter if we want something, nothing will stop us, simple.

  • @jebac227 You improved what ? Do you know what is a "lion of San Marco" ? This is a "lion with the wings" which can be found on every city in Dalmazia and Istria..this lion is symbol of Venetian republic..Venetian republic was medieveal italian merchant republic which ruled in Istria and Dalmazia till 1797..you didn't improved nothing, you only destroyed like you destroyed for example "Baiamonti fountain" in Spalato after the WW2.

  • @EsuleIstriano1 yeah and who did the venetians build dalmatia with croats/dalmatians you dumbass

  • @jebac227 The most funny thing is that you salute with ustascia salute to Istria and Dalmazia which were given to you by your communist dictator Tito whoch killed and expelled over 350 000 of Italian from Istria and dalmazia under the agreeement of Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin.... simply you are an idiot and ignorant as every average Croat..

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Ustasa salute dates back to 1880's, Croatian Istria/Dalmatia dates back 7th century. Tito is the most hated person in croatia and considered the greatest traitor in croatian history you stupid fuck. Learn before you speak.

  • @jebac227 Ustascia salute dates back into 1880..ok...but Croatian Istria and Dalmatia dates back into 1947 when first time in history communist dictator Tito stole with the help of the allies italian land of Istria and Dalmazia and gave it to you.... Hahahaha...yes the traitor which gave you the whole Istria first time in history..you are an imbecille.... :))))

  • @jebac227 Venetians are Italians..Venetians builded the towns in Dalmatia and Istria..or maybe you'll tell me that even Venetia is Croatian..loooool..... Croats aren't original Dalmatians..original Dalmatians were romanised Illyrians which later became Italians... go read something about Dalmatian (dalmatski jezik)..which is now extinct dialect of italian language once spoken in whole Dalmatia till the end of 19 century....it was a italian dialect of original romance population of Dalmatia...

  • @EsuleIstriano1 we were an empire for 4-500 years before a long occupation by various empires from 1200-1941, but we were always either a province or sub state to a larger power. Im not doubting some italian influence in dalmatia/istria but you lost it fair and square, so stop crying like a little bitch. Borders change and regions change through time deal with it.

  • @jebac227 Croatia was never empire first of all, Croatia was kingdom till the 1102 when it became part of Hungary... Some Italian influence ? Istria was never ruled by any Croatian state, except small portion of South-eastern Istria for 157 years.. Istria was always part of the states from Apenine peninsula like Lombard Kingdom of Italy, Frankish Kingdom of Italy, Aquilea Patriarchate, Venetian Republic and Napoleonic kingdom of Italy...

  • @EsuleIstriano1 actually under king tomislav croatia was the most powerfull kingdom/empire/whatever of the time. This is not science fiction, this is fact. Ive never once heard about italian goverment wanting return of istria or any part of croatia, why? One reason is that it would go no where, no way would croatia give up istria, Two, our german friends wouldnt take kindly to this. Also my dads best friends is from pula where his family tree goes back to the 18th century.

  • @jebac227 The biggest problem is what you did to 350 000- 400 000 Italians from Istria and Dalmazia..that is the biggest problem..you expelled them, killed them by throwing them in Foibe.... if it was fair, ok....then expect that we will fair came once again to return that....on a fair way.. ok ? Crying like a little bitch ? You Croats cry like a little bitches every time when we mention Istria and Dalmazia...i think it's fear, what do you think ?

  • @EsuleIstriano1 First of all, never heard of this 300,000 italians being expelled from croatia. Second many "italian venetians" were actually croatians with italian names. During the venetian order, being croat wasnt allowed. The merchant and the noble class in Dalmatia did use two names, one Latin-Italian as citizens of Vencie, and their own Slavic name in their own circles. Bogdanich became Bogdaneo, Mladinich - Mladineo, Arnerich - Arneri, Glavinich Capogrosso, most notably Marko Pilic-Polo

  • @jebac227 As well as i never heard about croatian Istria before 1947. Really ? How about that old Ragusan family Gundulich were by their ancestry from Italian town Lucca and their original surname was Gondola but were during a time croatised ? You don't belive me ? Well buy some books, or at least search on google or wikipedia.

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Istria is a decent size, italian claim to istria is limited to the coast and is really only a small part, so relax and places and regions change over time, italian population in croatia is around 20,000 and the italian goverment doesnt pursue istria at all so this is a dead issue. Medievil Croatia, Venetian Croatia, Hungarian Croatia, Austrian Croatia, is still in the end Croatia. Just because we were ruled and at war for 800 years doesnt mean whats ours isnt ours.

  • @jebac227 Yes places and regions can change over time and yes they will changwe again soon or later even in Istria... Today italian population is Istria is about 19 000 because of ethnic cleansing of 350 000 italians after the WW2....Nothing is yet a dead issuse and pproof for that is how many italians make these videos and how many italians comment under..in fact every year more and more italians are aware what happened in Istria after ww2 and how you stoled our land ----->

  • @jebac227 ---> after an ethinic cleansing of more then 350 000 istria italians...and all that as a strange "reward" from allies to your nation which during 1941-1945 as an axis state also did huge attrocities and ethnic cleansing on serbian population..like for example in Jasenovac concetration camp where you killed about 600 000 Serbs...and one more proof for that Istria isn't yet a "dead issue" is how you strongly want to prove your points which are wrong ----->

  • @jebac227 -----> and which you only use to convince yourself how Istria is croatian land and even in fact you don't belive in that completelely...Yes you started to rule in Istria after the WW2 by genocide over italians and we before that ruled in Istria more then 1500 years in peace..as i said i repeat once again read what is "Placito del Risano", or "rizanska skupstina"..and what is now extinct romance dalmatian language once spoken in Dalmatia...and you'll see what is "yours" and what is ours

  • @jebac227 Ok, for example surname Mladineo...it isn't italian or italianised surname at all... surname Mladineo is still videly spread in Dalmatia beetwen Croats, and in Italy this surname have only one person in one central italian comune.. Search on: "imehrvatsko net" and "L'Italia dei cognomi"..while for example surnames Polo, De Polo, Pol are videly spread in north italy, especially in Veneto while in Croatia these surnames practically don't exist at all..--->

  • @jebac227 ---> except surname Depolo which is corrupted version of original surname De Polo which is videly spread all over North Italy..and even corrupted version of the surname "Depolo" is more videly spread in Italy then in Croatia...surname Polo is also videly spreak all over North Italy, while in Croatia this surname have only two person one in Zagabria and one in Istria.... I also heard that Columbus was Pole, that Bonaparte was Albanian..and now i heard that Marco Polo is Croat..looooool

  • @EsuleIstriano1 Doesnt change that Venetian Croatia was still heavily populated by croats that had latin-italian names and also slavic names, this was common practise during this era. Dalmatia has been croat since 7th century, istria went back and forth slightly for 500 years before the 20th century.

    BRIGATA CRISTIAN PERTAN

  • @kukuleleful Nessuno può superare le vostre donne in questo, mi dispiace... Anyway we did not want to assimilate croatians, we just wanted to compact our presence in Dalmatia... Than we invaded Croatia after we started the war against Russia, and I've never agreed whit that decision

  • @kukuleleful La tua il mestiere lo può insegnare al mondo intero, specialista com'è, a giudicare dalla prole... Anyway, Auschwitz was a GERMAN camp

  • I know we committed mistakes during the war, but you cannot defend what Tito's army did to the italians throwing thousands of them in the foibe

VIVA SEMPRE FIUME ITALIANA!!!!

  • @Cacunga74 i personally have some family members who died in Italian death camps in the 1930, and you wanted to asimilated. i know you may think i am lying, for example my grandfahter name was Ivan Ribarić, during the italian he was forced to chnage his name in giovanni pescatore. italia in that period was a extreme nacionalistic and shovinistic land because of mussolini

  • @kukuleleful I'm sorry for your family members, it's always sad to hear. Until the 1st World War the northern Italy (just like istrian and dalmatian lands) was under the austrian empire, and you have to consider that many croatians was in that army. The austrian army committed many abuses in italian lands, and this is the why we considered them as bad enemies. Then, as it always happens, violence calls violence, and so on...

  • @Cacunga74 thanks for compasion. yes, there were many croats in the austrian army, but there were also hungarians, slovaks, chechs, bosnian muslims... and the mostly high-ranked officers were austrians. I personally havent got anything against italians except when they demand dalmacija and istra what is false

  • @kukuleleful Istria and Dalmatia was colonized in the 2nd century under the Roman Empire, and those lands mantained the latin structure for centuries, also under the Byzantine Empire. Then came the Republic of Venice until 1797. This is the why we consider those ones like latin/italian lands.

  • @Cacunga74 well, whole france was colonized before istra and dalmazia and why dont the frendch teritory claim? the end of the roman period germanic tribes came in italy so it is not sure that italian are pure latins. damatia was from 1409-1797. croatians posses dalmacija from the 7th century and was under the role of king tomislav, and the italinas were settled during the venetians

  • @kukuleleful As you say, the slavs came to Dalmatia in 7th century, while the celts was in France (Gallia) since a lot of time before romans arrived... The first population of Istria (after the fallen of Rome) became venetians in 10th century, and from 15th century on the most part of istrian and dalmatian lands.

Besides, you can clearly find the latin (venetian) architecture in all the countries near the sea, and under Venice also the language started to return more and more latin.

  • Then, under the austrian empire, more slavs popoulations, just like albanians and greeks, was settled in those lands, and we had a very mixed country...

This the why nowadays both italians and croatians consider those lands as their own: now Istria and Dalmatia are in Croatia, but you have to agree that, for their history, we cannot stop to consider them italian too...

  • @Cacunga74 there were only 350 years under the venetians republic, under the croats from the 7th century. croats came in istra bout the 8 th century. that means 1000 years croatian and 350 italian. when it was under the venetians italians made the majority the most were croats. and in that time there was not italy just a lot of italian states.

  • @kukuleleful Don't forget the 4 centuries under Rome (and I suppose you well know that we've always considered the italian lands of Roman Empire like Italy). Besides, the original language was latin, and in Istria the presence of Venice is dated about from 930 a.C.

Even if our nation was divided in many states, we have always considered them like Italy (history and language had the same origin, and for me Venice, Genova, the Kingdom of Neaples, of Sicily and so on was italian kingdoms).

  • Anyway, we can continue to talk about this for eternity, so I suppose the end could be this: a lot of centuries are past under both colonizations; nowadays Istria and Dalmatia are in Croatia, but for us they are italian lands too, and they will always remain in our heart, because they're part of our history too.

  • @Cacunga74 italy was founded 1871. and croatia was united in 925. we as a modern nation have dalmatia and istria since the 10th century and the italians only from 1918-1945. that is the diferency. THE CROATS HAD BEEN ALWAYS THE MAJORITY, the pope sent our king tomislav where he confirms that dalmacija and istra are part of the croatian kingdom, also many years before even italy was in planning

  • @Cacunga74 well, you can cry for them, but the both provinzes are in hearth croatian, as a part of the republic of venetia there were slaves, sorry to say that. the italian colonizators used only to have profit from the major population which were croats

  • @Cacunga74 as I first said, i dont think italians are originally romans, because the last period od the roman period in italy came many germanic tribes who colonized italy. besides, if you are right tnat the spainians are romans too. the presence of the croatian and slavic language are dated from the 8th century ("brižinski spomenici") also before the venetians. .

  • @kukuleleful As I told you, we could continue until eternity... Anyway we have in our veins latin blood, and this is absolutely unquestionable, even if the fallen of Rome brought to many invasions. But the latin fingerprint remained in Italy just like in Istria and Dalmatia... (and in the whole mediterranean sea...)

But I think this doesn't add anything to our convictions...

Well, I suppose we have been quite enough "clear" with one another... Don't you agree?

  • @Cacunga74 croatians have illyric blood. yes we are clear, dalmacija and istra are and were always stay croatian regions. i forgoten somethnig, in istra there is a italian majority, the italains in croatia consider croatia as their homeland. we are clear, it was nice. ciao

  • @kukuleleful As it always happens, at the end everyone remains on its own opinion... We agree that... we disagree...

  • @kukuleleful Stupido! Non sai cosa dici.

Noi stiamo già tornando a casa nostra.

Un saluta da Traù veneta / italiana.

    Anche qui sventola il Tricolore!

Ciao Kukulef... e non sbigotir ch'io vincerò la prova...

  • @kukuleleful ISTRIA FIUME E DALMAZIA NE' SLOVENIA NE' CROAZIA

  • @kukuleleful E comunque nel mio commento iniziale volevo solo farti notare come sia l'Austria che la Germania nelle due guerre mondiali non hanno rispettato i patti previsti dalle alleanze... Ma tanto sto a parlà cor muro...

(Anyway in my original post I just showed that both Austria and Germany did not respect the alliance agreements at the beginnings of the two world wars... Just to be clear...)
