Its no surprise that with the coal industries being so powerful in Australia they were able to find a scientist (Geologist) who will push a view to keep coal mining alive. Its not the view of the Australian scientific community as a whole.

Just watched in full........excellent - putting the altenative viewpoint. Agree with him totally on the 'new religion' aspect. It's designed and funded totally by vested interests as part of a strategy to control (and tax) the people. Well done Mr Rockefeller, Mr Rothschild et al, very ingenious.

Well, the people that actually submit to peer review criticism all disagree with this guy. I appreciate his debunking of creationists but that is low hanging fruit.

If he wants to disagree with scientific consensus then why only make video slides and popular books. Why not submit these criticisms to journals?

Because any submission he might make to a professional journal would almost certainly be reviewed - and rejected - by members of the climate change consensus. Do you think that scientists are more honest than say politicians and business leaders? In any case, good science can be reported in books - consider Darwin (Origin of Species) or Chomsky (Syntactic Structures) or Dawkins (Selfish Gene).

They only get positive peer reviews because their area of focus is too narrow. Being an engineer and scientist you can always norrow your variables to give you the answer you want. People belonging to a consensus are not scientists, they are followers of a religion.

Anyway, he has done plenty of peer reviewed stuff. Just keep telling yourself he's not right so you can keep your faith, or listen to the points and reasoning, it's pretty hard to refute, even if you just use common sense!

This has to be one of the tallest and deepest pile of BS on YouTube. Grace, (gravity recovery and climate experiment) measured loss of ice on Greenland of 220 cubic km in 2007 and again 2008.

Antarctica has had a net loss of ice as well.

Dr.s Holdren, Oppenheimer, Somerville, Allee, Cicarone, Ramanathan, Pauchari, Kaku, Orestes, Keeling, Hawking and countless others are in total disagreement with this Plimer.

So what is bull? Sea ice increasing? Google New Scientist; Why Antarctic ice is growing despite global warming ...

or visit National Snow and Ice Data Center's website proof positive.

Second check and see if we have seen a net warming or cooling since 1998...

Third check and see if we have seen bigger temperature changes in less time than the current 0.6C+ since 1880.

There are plenty of other scientists who agree with Pilmer, that human induced co2 is not a global warming mechanism
