Concur completely.
They came on as support for RHCP when i went to one of their UK stadium gigs as the advertised support act pulled out at the last minute (Goldfrapp) - the announcer came over the PA system to explain, and said "please welcome to the stage; Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals!"
...i swear all 30,000 people said "who?" at the same time. hahah. so yeah, we had no idea who they all were, but by the end of their set, EVERYONE was loving it. Totally amazing show
