I thought I was just a bad rider! My quarter horse even when he is at a slow gallop i can't sit in the saddle. I look exactly like that picture!! Thank you(: I appreciate it!

@FriedenFarms always work on setting down in your saddle but when your flying top speed around barrels it adds a little bit more difficulty to it! you could always think about a magic seat to help work on your seat in the saddle!

Im going to be barrel racing next year and thats one of the things I wanted to ask someone! Is it better to do that or not? With the saddle I have I have a hard time keeping my feet in the stirrups.. granted I need a loot of practice but still..

@FriedenFarms when i was younger and on not quite as fast horses i NEVER even used my stirrups! :) but now the horses i ride throw me up and around pretty far (check out 1:01)! :) so i always rubberband them in as a precaution!...plus when he does turn his barrels so tight i do need to lift both my leg and the stirrup out of the way! :)

thank you! I am 21 years old i have been running barrels by myself since i was 3 years old. last year this horse and I were 3rd in the nation for SEBRA! we are setting sixth right now in the national standings! I don't really have a best time because the arenas that we run in are all different sizes so that makes the times all different! :) but I do absolutely love it! I do have some of my actual runs posted on my channel as well not just the photos like this one! :) you should check them out!

thats relley good better than me my horses name is roper i trained himto do the barrels and poles still working on it only had roper for abaut 2 months its been prietey rough ill post a video of me doing the barrel im not bad best time is 19.2.great job you were great oh and how old are you please tell me!!!!!
