@Valdireneangela rise of the ogre is their autobiography, it's interspersed with fictional commentary by the band members and real quotes from critics, fans, and the creators. I don;t know if 2-D lost his eyes, I've always assumed he has large pupils because at least he acts like he can see.

@Valdireneangela 2-D has a medical condition called Hyphema. It's when blood rushes to the eyes, giving them a black color. It's also known as a eight-ball fracture. He get's this when Murdoc (green bassist dude) runs him over, leaving him in a comatose state. After running the vegetibalized 2-D a second time, 2-D comes around but get's Hyphema in his other eye.

The story of 2-D makes him wimpy. He was a man with no musical talent and going nowhere with his life. Murdoc crashed into the corner shop where he worked and sent him into a coma and gave him a dent in his eye which is reffered to as a 2-D. Part of Murdoc's community service was to look after 2-D while in a coma. He took him in his stolen car for a race and crashed again. 2-D then awoke from the coma a genuis muscician. However, these incidents make him scared to be near Murdoc.
