*seriously, the first homo sapien sapiens (adam and eve) born in 6,000 B.C!?!? God, so retarded, I learned about evolution when i was in 1st grade, and i was in freaking catholic school!
what the hell is this guy trying to prove!? this is an extremely religiously bias video about christianity and it's origins which are far from the oldest religions ever recorded by mankind.
i hope you are just some ignorant innocent child posting his first youtube video, because if you are above the age of 20 then you are mentally fcked.
what a load of rubbish please get your facts right! Sanatana Dharma (hindusim) pre dates any religion by tens of thousands of years. Archealogical evidence of Lord Krishna's city found at the bottom of the sea goes back 9000- 32,000 bc! In the bhagavad gita the lord says he first spoke the gita 120 million years ago to the sun god. But it is estimated it has been in human society for nearly 2 million years. I also do not belive the western dates of the vedas as they much older!
This video sucks..... it screams ignorance...... The moment you explain the origin of all religions by quoting bible shit, then you obviously are biased.
Hinduism is the oldest around 20,000 years back, everything has written in "Bhagwatgita" please don't say any other religion which is even not a age of 25% of Hinduism, First people started believing animals and then Hinduism born. and don't any holy book which claims to be the oldest because "bhagwatgita" never did that.
@iappleshahh It shows who needs to read the Book, and i think, you must be among those jealous MUSLIM. You must have to understand that you need treatment.
Regarding the (bullshit) video, the "oldest religion" is very difficult to determine. Anatomically-modern humans have roamed the Earth for around 200,000 years now, written history has only been around for a small percentage of that, and even Neanderthals were known to engage in ceremonial burial. Faith and an intuition of something greater than this world has had its grip on our species for longer than we've been able to communicate it.
Imagine a tribal priest who lived 150,000 years ago.
@Br91Ca89St87 Religion is supposed to give us love, happiness, and fulfillmet in arts, culture, moral, ethics, and everything else and yet it's one of the greatest sources of flak and controversy in the world today. Such cruel irony.
All things can be wittled down into an opinion on what they should be, but it won't change what they are. I can forge a beautiful sword, with engravings on the handle and whatnot. And you could say that the sword is "supposed to" be put in a museum and never touched so that all can witness its beauty for the rest of time, but that still won't change the fact that if someone grabs it and swings it just right... blood is shed.
I never said that I saw religion as a sword. I never said I saw it as anything. I was basically saying religion will be what it will be: A social phenomenon that results in both good and bad things. Sometimes it leads to charity, sometimes it leads to the justification of horrible atrocities. It all depends on the interpretation of the follower(s).
I personally don't need it. I can be decent to others without being threatened with hell or bribed with heaven.
@Npowell01 yes anyone can be decent without dogmatic threats of eternal damnation, but the reason I need it is for ultimate comfort, sort of like a fail-safe... and also eternal reward/salvation right after I die... cause dying without having religious belief is an extremely scary-ass thing for me.
The testimony of Eusebius and Philostratus. In the seventh century, St. Isidore made a summary in his Encyclopedia of knowledge derived from ancient Greek and Latin authors, many of whose works have now disappeared. Regarding 'Ethiopians' he says in his Etymologiarium (IX.2.128): “They came in ancient times from the River Indus, established themselves in Egypt between the Nile and the sea, towards the south, in the equatorial regions.
you created the calendar called AD & BC right ..? If the date BC exist then you are the New comer..to all New Comers Shut the F*** up. when talking about religion or atheism , christianity and islam coming to front..LOLz newbies.
Yes Nannu you are right. I wish educated people of the world would read the Vedas and also watch the wonderful movies Ramyana (Ram who lived before Krishna) - which is not mythology but the oldest divine peoples history. Strangely the people has always only looked at the religions in the middle east and totally in their ignorance ignore the old truth and wisdom in the east.. But they will one day found the truth as they now have found Dwarka.
Also theres mixed ideas of Dwarka's age because im finding its 12,000 scientifically but others support the idea its 23,000. You may not know but12,000 year old grave of a shaman was found already so it looks like shamanism is currently as old reportedly.
There was finds of 70,000 year old religion which gathered around to worship a stone and python in africa...so unfortunately hindu is not the oldest and we will never know the oldest religion just the oldest surviving.
And you still have doubt search for the city name "Dwarka" which was found under the water and is proved its 32000 years old. Dwarka city of Lord Krishna(Hindu Deity). Our vedas our so old that u doubters cant even imagine. When Bible didnt even exist we had cure for so many diseases and has known about creation of Universe. just search for Vedas yall will get ur answers.
u so called Christians Muslims etc believe that only your god exist and will give eternal life. Even in Bible it is written I am "Jealous God " and you cannot worship of any other gods and idols. But on the other hand Hinduism which is truly the oldest religion and scientifically proven tells you to have faith in whatsoever god you believe in be a good person and that path leads to me(one god).
when we go on net and search for which 1 is the oldest religion.. every1 has its own point of view... like if some1 is muslim, he wud writet things from ther holy book KORAN & asks us to believe it... where as if someone is christian he wud write things from their holy book BIBLE... & in hinduism it shows hinduism is the oldest religion.. my main point is the every1 is in the race to become surperior & better than the others....
very well said !!! that's the very reason Hinduism has existed for thousands and thousands of years. India has seen many many invasions, destruction by invaders...yet Hinduism exists. Love is God. God is Love.
SO ALL MY HINDU BROTHERS JIUST REMEMVER ONE MORE THING WE R HERE TO LOVE EVERYONE TO RESPECT ALL RELIGONS AS WE RESPECT OUR AND LOVE EACH AND EVERYTHING WHICH HAS LIFE
IT IS NOT HINDUNISM WHICH IS OLDEST ITS LOVE FOR EACH OTHER WHICH IS THE OLDEST LOVE HINDUS,MUSLIMS,CHRISTIONS,SIKHS AND ALL THATS WHAT TRUE HINDU IS
I lol'd !!! The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the Tree of Knowledge. The subtext is, All
the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on.
You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just kept your fucking mouth
Christianity is not the oldest religion, no matter how much you want to think that. This is why I get so upset at christians. You are so high and mighty you think you are the best and only true religion. You guys weren't the first, so shut it. In fact, when you read the bible many of the stories from there are exact stories from earlier religions hundreds of years before them.
Christianity=NOT ORIGINAL...and definitely not the first.
Pagans studied the Sun, Moon and Stars, possibly the first to do so. Closely followed by the Greeks. This planet that we all live on, 'Mother Earth' :) Is looking after our environment and planet be labelled a religion? Today, most if not all religious books have stolen from Pagan belief's and vice-versa. Example; The Bible was written by hundreds of different young men (scribes) in numerous languages, Aramaic, Greek, Hebrew, Latin. All religions/beliefs are connected in some way.
Crishtains. The bible says you should use wisdom in every thing you do. Wisdom. Jesus tells you what you must do to become just like him.
Wisdom ask. Then why hasnt some one done it.?
Wisdom ask. Walk on water.?
Wisdom says. That your understanding of walking on water is wrong. Or your understanding of what Jesus said you must do to become just like him is wrong.
don't try to create some sensational news that has no sense, according to the hindu mythology, all the living beings is belong to one family, and we love every we have no partiality, some people afraid hindu mythology and its depth in spiritual concepts
do you know yoga is created by hindu rikshis......they give it for all humans not only for hindus we have no partiality, "sathyam meva jayethe".....truth win always pls study about veda and upanishad
Hinduism (alias Vedic culture), on the other hand, is a primordial mother-faith uniting all creeds in a common bond of cultural fraternity and in a common language, Sanskrit. It governed all human social relations and spiritual development from the beginning of time until the rise of 'missionary' religions of Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam.
The Veda is infinite and endless" says the tradition (anantā vai vedāh) containing the strands of the sixteen types of knowledge and sixty-four types of arts and technologies. Hinduism is a modern residual, territorial synonym of primeval, ancient worldwide Vedic culture implying the people of India whose goal is to lead a life of world peace and harmony.
As we are not present at the beginning of first religionwe must analyse everything with logic and scientific proof. You have only given a book's reference for concluded oldest religion. The book itself is not older than 2000 yrs.So it is a illogical, invalid and unacceptable proof (for intellectuals)
As per the book: Earth is inhabited by humans only in 6000 BC.As per science the humans are on earth at least some millions of years ago. So the referred book is incorrect and cant be trusted.
So much foolish people, this people dont know anything on Hinduism and it ancient texts details which is so huge even the entire Greek literature as on today preserved not even 10 percent of Hindus Sanskrit and other language texts.
So,ignorance is bliss here!
The antiquity of Hinduism is more than 10,000 years at the minimum limit.
Experts concluded this kind of literary Corpus only possible to the civilization which is atleast 10,000 years old.
Christianity was an occult religion. It was only when a roman emperorer says he is a Christian, that everyone jumped on the bandwagon and became a fan. The new testament was no more than a book of poems. The old testament was plagiarized right out of the ancient sumerians' religion.
All over the world people believe the anthropologists and archeologists and their discoveries, even being a christian I have seen and heard indian culture and religion. The sanskrit seems to be the oldest language know to man kind. And its scriptures are sculptures unbelievingly are so old and leave the proof the other religions are very new before hinduism. So Hinduism is the oldest religion of the world or we can say the first religion of the human race.
Most likely the Sumarian culture had the oldest religion. The first man was Adamu and he used to live in Eden ( pronounced = ed-IN) Judaism is not close to the oldest religion. Sorry. God bless.
The oldest religions were probably animistic or shamanic religions.
The first organised religions probably arose in Mesopotamia and the Indus valley-Mother goddess religions.(the ones catholics fought against)
The oldest surviving one is Hinduism.(Ever heard of Pashupati seals circa 3500-4000 B.C-The ruins of Harappa;Hindus still worship replicas of those in Brihadeshswar). Judaism arose 4000 years back and came to prominence after Canaan. As for Christ-29 B.C-4 A.D
@MASTER027063 I was talking about organized religion; Besides I am not currently aware of any such evidence being found in East Africa. If you have a link, please send it. Thanks.
That's Amazing ! Interestingly Pashupati fit every bill of the symbolism for Satan,, cross legged horned god and later evolve into Shiva with a trident....
if Satan does exist for 2000 years before the Christian god what does that say about him as a supreme being ? lol
@OmtaThien Horned Gods are common to many cultures in the world; Horns are a really common motif-That's one of the things Dan Brown got right in that crappy book of his. Romans depicted Mars as wearing horns like Lord Shiva in some of his statues. No wonder Early Christians hated them!! Add Goths, Franks, Vikings to the list (All were pagans and their Gods used Horns- a relic of the Iron age) and it's not surprising Satan ended up like that.
@OmtaThien Interestingly, both Gods and Demons( also men and other races) use horned helmets in war in Hinduism- A reflection of the ambivalence of "good" and "evil" in it. The Gita, the principal holy book, concerns itself more with duty and justice( those are the closest translations to Dharma and Karma) , than morals and ethics. The Mahabharata itself takes a really pessimistic outlook on humanity- Something that Lord Krishna refers to again and again.
Christianity is a new form of Osirus worship reintroduced by Constantine to bring unity to his empire - nothing more.
The majority of the old testament is a library concocted by the scribes during Ezra's time to unify their little empire for the political reasons. The stories from Genisis for instance come from Mesopotamia.
Quoting Mark about proclaiming the gospel is great - but irrelevant. I would also say that Hinduism is ancient but would tend to place annamism or shamanism first.
@YoungAnthropologist One can PROVE, beyond any doubt, (except to a Christian), that the original Christian god was Saint Peter, (Latin: Sanctus Pater) Roman Mythology: Ju Pater (English: Jupiter), Greek Mythology: Zu Pater (English: Zeus), Sanskrit: Deus Pater (Lit; Sky/ Heavenly + Father). All carried 3 keys, all called il Juanitore, (see: fish John Dory - juanitore with Saint Peter's thumbprint ~ given to Christ) from the species genus: Zeus. Statue of St. Peter almost identical to Ju Pater.
@itsanameisntit that so-called evidence that you point to is not evidence at all. what you prove is what has already been declared centuries ago that the Roman Catholic Church is not Christian-but antichristian. that everything that is from them is but the sychretism of all the world's religions. they are not the representatives of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but of the whore of Babylon-the world's religion-which has been since the days of Nimrod-which is the father of all the world's religions.
This is true as the majority of the Christian Churches can be traced back one way or another to the Catholic Church - but the Coptic / Eastern Churches do not and hold to an older structure. The Egyptian Coptic Church whom I met a member of recently has no tradition of Saint Peter. I am fairly sure that the Eastern Churches hold a similar view. BTW - these earlier churches have a more "gnostic" outlook of "inner work" as opposed to the Catholic view. Let me know your thoughts.
@YoungAnthropologist Joseph Campbell, who never claimed to be a Christian, and was perhaps the foremost authority on comparative religions, while identifying similarities, could not, and remain credible to draw the foolish conclusions that those like yourselves have tried to make. what you trade is your own integrity to spin such foolishness.
@HermitintheRain Sorry - you obviously went to a lot of effort but I didn't read much of what you wrote before I stopped. You see anthropology is the study of people; humanity. From what you have written I understand you quite well - you are a self centered, lonely, judgemental individual. As a Christian you practice a form of tribalism - an "us and them" attitude and it is apparent from what you have written. Look at your quotes, look at your moniker - I find it all quite sad really.
@YoungAnthropologist typical rhetoric: when unable to respond to what is actually declared, one tends to lean on ad hominems as a rebuttal. but i guess i should expect your judgments to be no different than the clear ignorance which appears to have been born out of simple intellectual laziness which actually amounts to nothing short of prejudicial conclusions and accusations.
No - I learned a long time ago not to engage Christians in conversation at all because, quite simply; Christians believe that all other people are beneath them and that their point of view only is correct. You have shown this quite well.
@YoungAnthropologist that is exactly what those who are given to prejudice do: they find it acceptable to tell lies about a particular group of people and then spin their own lies without fear of rebuttal by excluding any dialogue with them. i am sure you go around preaching tolerance, with the one exception being no tolerance for those who don't believe as you do. you are a hypocrite to your own world view.
@YoungAnthropologist it is to be further noted that you have failed to address one point that has been raised against your lies. the only rebuttal you have has been ad hominem attacks on my person, and hypocritical excuses for not addressing the facts that have exposed your lies and ignorance. which is only proving more and more your lack of integrity, academic intelligence, and sound ethical discourse.
@YoungAnthropologist in reality it is you who thinks he is above all others every time you refuse to give an account to the lies you put forth. you attack those who give a reasoned defense for the hope that is in them, while in the same discourse excusing yourself on grounds of prejudicial arrogance from either defending your propaganda or confessing the lies and ignorance in them.
@YoungAnthropologist it is afterall no surprise: as one whose love for telling lies is such that they will scamper away from anyone who dares expose them for the liar that they are. liars are not without weapons of their own: most common are the weapons of more lies and slander thrown at the person exposing them; and in other cases when those lies and slander aren't sufficient, when the opportunity reveals itself, will turn to more violent and evil weapons to overthrow at them.
@YoungAnthropologist while the prince of the world has convinced you that your lies will overcome the truth; you will find that it is you who have been deceived, and it is you that will be, and has been overcome. hoping you would understand, i become the fool; seeing that you are given over to holding onto your lies at all costs, that you have sold your integrity, thrown away academic honesty, and have become bankrupt on ethics, to expect other than your lies and prejudice is beyond reason.
Seriously - I think you need to step back and take a good hard look at your posts and realize that nobody is reading them; instead I am worried that you don't seem to understand this.
I think you should talk this over with a medical professional to get help because your obsession is something that is damaging your life; from the length and persistence of your posts you probably get very little enjoyment out of life but there are people who can help you change that.
@YoungAnthropologist to take a stand in the rain of darkness to point people to shelter and the Light is not a cause to be sad, except for those who when pointed to it remain in it. and if you haven't figured it out yet: it is an us and them way of life. God who has called his people out of darkness, has called them out of darkness to be separate from the world. perhaps you might try buying some academic and intellectual integrity before you pretend to be an anthropologist.
Sorry - you obviously went to a lot of effort but I didn't read much of what you wrote before I stopped.
@YoungAnthropologist what happened to Osiris has not one parallel to what happened to Christ. perhaps you might actually read the Egyptian Book of the Dead to find out for yourself, instead of just spinning it off of some other idiot who gave you what you wanted to hear.
All that Ezra did was to codify what had already been written. The extent of his own writing would only include the Chronicles. It is possible he also wrote the book of Ezra and maybe even Nehemiah and Esther.
@YoungAnthropologist you might consider changing your login. perhaps YoungPropagandist would be more accurate. because clearly you know nothing about anthropology, and the evidences that spit in the face of everything you have said. for your information: some 400 years had gone on with the proclamation of the gospel of Christ by Christians long before Constantine was even born. Christians were being slaughtered by the thousands for that faith long before he showed up.
@YoungAnthropologist Genesis didn't come from anything out of Mesopotamian traditions. The Gilgamesh epic, for instance has nothing in common with the accounts of creation or the flood. but you would know that if you had actually did your own reading of the material. you can span the world and find unique creation and flood/cateclismic accounts-from Mesopotamia to Scandinavia to Central America. the only thing they all have in common is that they all point to an origin
@YoungAnthropologist and to a point of great upheaval. Even linguistic anthropology finds this in the basic structure of the Chinese language. while the stories and accounts clearly differ, what it does point to, in antiquity, is the knowledge and retelling of an event prior to their own time where life came into existence in a pristine-paradise-golden age. but was soon ended and further overturned by great wrath and judgment upon the world.
@YoungAnthropologist take for instance the Flood. Moses by himself couldn't have come up with what he writes, especially in light of what was traditionally being told both in Egypt and in Mesopotamia at the time. What Moses ends up recording in Genesis is in stark contrast to everything that is told in these places. When Moses for instance actually records the exact month and day when Noah entered the ark, no one could have known that date-even Noah.
@YoungAnthropologist for the date that Moses gives is for a calendar that doesn't begin to exist until after the children of Israel actually leave Egypt. there is only one person who could possibly know that date. That is God who is telling it to him on Mt Sinai. Noah definitely couldn''t have passed on how long he was in that ark. It is quite certain that he would have lost track of time very rapidly with the sky dark for 40 days and nights with rain and storm all about him.
@YoungAnthropologist when Noah would have stepped out of the ark for the first time, he would have been witnessing something completely foreign to him. the world he knew before when he stepped into the ark, didn't exist anymore. the topography, the hills, the rivers, everything about it would have changed.
@YoungAnthropologist a point of logic: just because some story is told first, doesn't mean that all others that give their account of that event are derived from it. many false witnesses are good at hurrying on to the courts, to the please, to their mom, etc to tell some lie about what occurred. but soon enough the truth comes out to reveal the lie in that account. the Gilgamesh Epic clearly was written before Genesis. but that does not mean it is more reliable.
@YoungAnthropologist the Egyptians and Sumerians definitely gave their own account of what the world was, and its early history long before anyone else. this doesn't mean that they were giving a faithful account of it. in logic this is the fallacy that appeal to antiquity. the earliest record of something doesn't mean it is the most reliable. nor does it mean that any accounts given after the fact have their origin in that earlier account.
@YoungAnthropologist finally, in Ezra's time, they had no empire to unify. they were still under the dominion of Persia, and later the Greeks and later the Romans. at no time after Babylon had conquered all of Israel and Judah was there ever a reunification of that nation politically. this should be basic understanding of anyone claiming to have the smallest understanding of B.C. history.
@YoungAnthropologist the library that you speak of Ezra and the scribes of his era concocting was actually the already existing books which had been written by Moses, Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, David, and the others who had existed before them. Then there were those, with the exception of maybe Daniel, which hadn't even been written yet-namely Haggai, Malachi and maybe Zechariah.
@YoungAnthropologist but if you truly were an anthropologist, even if only an amateur one, you would already know this, and wouldn't show your shame in pouring out such ignorance. unless you know it to be ignorance and are just using it to further slander your hatred for the Bible, and especially his Christ just as the Bible proclaimed you would.
@YoungAnthropologist Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Psalm 2:1-5
@YoungAnthropologist do you hear the LORD laughing yet? beware of the day when you do. for soon his wrath will not be far behind it. but may you repent unto his command to: Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. Psalm 2:12

what a load of rubbish please get your facts right!

Hinduism is the oldest around 20,000 years back, everything has written in "Bhagwatgita" please don't say any other religion which is even not a age of 25% of Hinduism, First people started believing animals and then Hinduism born. and don't any holy book which claims to be the oldest because "bhagwatgita" never did that.

faisalfca1 3 months ago
Regarding the (bullshit) video, the "oldest religion" is very difficult to determine. Anatomically-modern humans have roamed the Earth for around 200,000 years now, written history has only been around for a small percentage of that, and even Neanderthals were known to engage in ceremonial burial. Faith and an intuition of something greater than this world has had its grip on our species for longer than we've been able to communicate it.
Imagine a tribal priest who lived 150,000 years ago.
Npowell01 3 months ago
@Br91Ca89St87 Religion is supposed to give us love, happiness, and fulfillmet in arts, culture, moral, ethics, and everything else and yet it's one of the greatest sources of flak and controversy in the world today. Such cruel irony.
HamonLord 3 months ago
@HamonLord
There is no "supposed to"
There is, and there is not.
Npowell01 3 months ago
@Npowell01 that's what you see religion as? a sword? what about a sword to defend us?
HamonLord 3 months ago
@HamonLord
Read my post again.
Npowell01 3 months ago
@Npowell01 yes anyone can be decent without dogmatic threats of eternal damnation, but the reason I need it is for ultimate comfort, sort of like a fail-safe... and also eternal reward/salvation right after I die... cause dying without having religious belief is an extremely scary-ass thing for me.

But they will one day found the truth as they now have found Dwarka.
angelicvoice2012 5 months ago
Also theres mixed ideas of Dwarka's age because im finding its 12,000 scientifically but others support the idea its 23,000. You may not know but12,000 year old grave of a shaman was found already so it looks like shamanism is currently as old reportedly.

As per the book: Earth is inhabited by humans only in 6000 BC.As per science the humans are on earth at least some millions of years ago. So the referred book is incorrect and cant be trusted.

Christianity was an occult religion. It was only when a roman emperorer says he is a Christian, that everyone jumped on the bandwagon and became a fan. The new testament was no more than a book of poems. The old testament was plagiarized right out of the ancient sumerians' religion.

That's Amazing ! Interestingly Pashupati fit every bill of the symbolism for Satan,, cross legged horned god and later evolve into Shiva with a trident....
if Satan does exist for 2000 years before the Christian god what does that say about him as a supreme being ? lol
OmtaThien 10 months ago
@OmtaThien Horned Gods are common to many cultures in the world; Horns are a really common motif-That's one of the things Dan Brown got right in that crappy book of his. Romans depicted Mars as wearing horns like Lord Shiva in some of his statues. No wonder Early Christians hated them!! Add Goths, Franks, Vikings to the list (All were pagans and their Gods used Horns- a relic of the Iron age) and it's not surprising Satan ended up like that.
redtihor1 10 months ago

YoungAnthropologist 1 year ago 2
Peter almost identical to Ju Pater.
itsanameisntit 1 year ago
@itsanameisntit that so-called evidence that you point to is not evidence at all. what you prove is what has already been declared centuries ago that the Roman Catholic Church is not Christian-but antichristian. that everything that is from them is but the sychretism of all the world's religions. they are not the representatives of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but of the whore of Babylon-the world's religion-which has been since the days of Nimrod-which is the father of all the world's religions.
HermitintheRain 11 months ago
This is true as the majority of the Christian Churches can be traced back one way or another to the Catholic Church - but the Coptic / Eastern Churches do not and hold to an older structure. The Egyptian Coptic Church whom I met a member of recently has no tradition of Saint Peter. I am fairly sure that the Eastern Churches hold a similar view. BTW - these earlier churches have a more "gnostic" outlook of "inner work" as opposed to the Catholic view. Let me know your thoughts.
YoungAnthropologist 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist Joseph Campbell, who never claimed to be a Christian, and was perhaps the foremost authority on comparative religions, while identifying similarities, could not, and remain credible to draw the foolish conclusions that those like yourselves have tried to make. what you trade is your own integrity to spin such foolishness.
HermitintheRain 11 months ago
@HermitintheRain Sorry - you obviously went to a lot of effort but I didn't read much of what you wrote before I stopped. You see anthropology is the study of people; humanity. From what you have written I understand you quite well - you are a self centered, lonely, judgemental individual. As a Christian you practice a form of tribalism - an "us and them" attitude and it is apparent from what you have written. Look at your quotes, look at your moniker - I find it all quite sad really.
YoungAnthropologist 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist typical rhetoric: when unable to respond to what is actually declared, one tends to lean on ad hominems as a rebuttal. but i guess i should expect your judgments to be no different than the clear ignorance which appears to have been born out of simple intellectual laziness which actually amounts to nothing short of prejudicial conclusions and accusations.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
No - I learned a long time ago not to engage Christians in conversation at all because, quite simply; Christians believe that all other people are beneath them and that their point of view only is correct. You have shown this quite well.
YoungAnthropologist 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist that is exactly what those who are given to prejudice do: they find it acceptable to tell lies about a particular group of people and then spin their own lies without fear of rebuttal by excluding any dialogue with them. i am sure you go around preaching tolerance, with the one exception being no tolerance for those who don't believe as you do. you are a hypocrite to your own world view.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist it is to be further noted that you have failed to address one point that has been raised against your lies. the only rebuttal you have has been ad hominem attacks on my person, and hypocritical excuses for not addressing the facts that have exposed your lies and ignorance. which is only proving more and more your lack of integrity, academic intelligence, and sound ethical discourse.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist in reality it is you who thinks he is above all others every time you refuse to give an account to the lies you put forth. you attack those who give a reasoned defense for the hope that is in them, while in the same discourse excusing yourself on grounds of prejudicial arrogance from either defending your propaganda or confessing the lies and ignorance in them.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist it is afterall no surprise: as one whose love for telling lies is such that they will scamper away from anyone who dares expose them for the liar that they are. liars are not without weapons of their own: most common are the weapons of more lies and slander thrown at the person exposing them; and in other cases when those lies and slander aren't sufficient, when the opportunity reveals itself, will turn to more violent and evil weapons to overthrow at them.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist while the prince of the world has convinced you that your lies will overcome the truth; you will find that it is you who have been deceived, and it is you that will be, and has been overcome. hoping you would understand, i become the fool; seeing that you are given over to holding onto your lies at all costs, that you have sold your integrity, thrown away academic honesty, and have become bankrupt on ethics, to expect other than your lies and prejudice is beyond reason.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
Seriously - I think you need to step back and take a good hard look at your posts and realize that nobody is reading them; instead I am worried that you don't seem to understand this.
I think you should talk this over with a medical professional to get help because your obsession is something that is damaging your life; from the length and persistence of your posts you probably get very little enjoyment out of life but there are people who can help you change that.
YoungAnthropologist 10 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist to take a stand in the rain of darkness to point people to shelter and the Light is not a cause to be sad, except for those who when pointed to it remain in it. and if you haven't figured it out yet: it is an us and them way of life. God who has called his people out of darkness, has called them out of darkness to be separate from the world. perhaps you might try buying some academic and intellectual integrity before you pretend to be an anthropologist.
HermitintheRain 10 months ago
Sorry - you obviously went to a lot of effort but I didn't read much of what you wrote before I stopped. You see anthropology is the study of people; humanity.
HermitintheRain 11 months ago
@YoungAnthropologist you might consider changing your login. perhaps YoungPropagandist would be more accurate. because clearly you know nothing about anthropology, and the evidences that spit in the face of everything you have said. for your information: some 400 years had gone on with the proclamation of the gospel of Christ by Christians long before Constantine was even born. Christians were being slaughtered by the thousands for that faith long before he showed up.
HermitintheRain 11 months ago

Psalm 2:12
