Air Bucaneers should have placed 1st in the MCU and not Red Orchestra imo. There is real innovation behind air buccaneers, its not just some generic ww2 shooter. and Damnation wasnt really in a playable state, it just had a flashy intro map. :(
Nah, they have bot names and are not acting that smart. Both aiming at the invisible spot above the battleship and so on. Most telling thing is that they don't need to light the cannon. Could be using the SmartBot mutator though.
UT2k4 didn't have the playerbase to support many mods, it seems. Maybe UT3 will do better. It's still not a sure thing that they'll do UT3 version, but they are thinking about it. I certainly hope they will.
Btw, the people you see in this vid are bots. Can see by the names and the way they move. For human players firing the cannon is more complicated. Still a good vid.
A great mod which sems sadly to have died out...website still up and download available if anyone is interested...a working copy of ut2004 is all that is needed and the mod ofc.

infact the bots are pretty decent
just make sure u get version 1.6 (you might see 4.1 but thats a beta)
also theres this program called SmartBot 0.4 which improves them a bit

Having played the game again, I can tell that those are SmartBots. Much better than the regular AI.
