the truth is axl rose's voice is terrible, and the voice from the CDs is different from his real voice... he is actually terrible. just search a video of one of the concerts and youll see

@brightmind89 Try watching the ones he sings in 1988, 1987, and 1989,, and 1991.. in 1992 he sings terribly.. Axl sings well with Sweet Child O' Mine at the Ritz 1988,,, he sings lower but it's good there.. and Rock In Rio II.. 1991.. its good and sounds the same as the CD. Nightrian at the Ritz in 1987. 10 . 23 is amazing

I think it might be the bass setup in this game he's playing, as you might also notice the bass guitar is covered up.

It might also be the game making the guitar sooo much louder then all other instruments.
