De Klerk is not a traitor. Abolishing Apartheid was the morally right thing to do. However, he made several mistakes in the negotiations between 1991 and 1994. The rights of the languages other than English should have been protected. Furthermore, the type of reverse discrimination which we have today should have prohibited from the start.
