but yeah you are right for a new a6 its pretty good.

I have no idea why it's so difficult to accept the truth that Audi is just re-badged VW....

The engine, transmission, drive-shafts, differentials, the entire powertrain comes from VW.

Then they place on it a fancy and modern design and that's it.

Since 1968 (Audi 100, a first VW/Audi model) there is no real Audi anymore, VW wants to reduce a costs (just like other car-makers) so they are using their technology on entire VW group, which is normal...

LOL. Love how you're ignorant of the facts. Again, Audi's new MLB platform is exclusive to Audi. MLB platform cars have their longitudinal engine placed further back than any VW. The following Audi models are built on it: A4, A5, Q5, A6, A7, and A8. VW does NOT use this platform. The models that Audi does share a platform with VW are the A3, TT, and Q7. Also VW does NOT use Audi's 3.0T engine or forthcoming 4.0T. Know your facts.

@krashevich yes Audi are rebadged VW's ... except VW's use Haldex differentials instead of the Torsen found on audi's , suspension is different, V8 or supercharged V6 engines are not available and so is the longitudinal engine mounted aluminium modular platforms that audis are built on these days. so ... yes ... audi and vw share some transmisions some tdi engines and windshield whipers you could say its the same car lol

Actually I would have to say BMW produces better cars, though Audi does have great build quality. Too bad that they're owned by VW, it makes it a blessing and a curse.

BMW is owned by VW??? Nope, for shure not. Audi's part of the VW Group and BMW the heart brand of the BMW Group (BMW,MINI,RR). The BMW Group still is under major control of the Quand family.

Volkswagen Group consists of VW,VW Commercial Vehicels, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamorghini, SCANIA, and Porsche is on its way becoming the 10.brand.

Right now there's quite a struggle between Audi and Porsche going on who's gonna develope certain car-architectures. Best regards.
