  • men the old uniform look better them the new dress.

  • Just amazing... simply amazing

  • It looks like the Bulls bench hardly reacts to MJs performance... you wonder if the early Bulls weren't crazy about the new young guy on the team getting all the attention.....

  • Imagine how much jordan would score if they did the gay ass tap fouls back then like they do today.

  • Kids today weren't given the opportunity to see Jordan play in his prime. This is simply unbelievable. I don't know how you could consider a clown like Lebron James as the greatest or best player ever.

  • jordan shitted on this team for 58 in three quarters

  • This really happened in one game,,,? Simply Scary.

  • great crowd

  • The "Bruce Lee pass" at 2:31

  • @dadude86 Lol thats good. You deserve a thumbs up for that.If that guy thought that pass was suppose to fool someone, hes on some type of drug. Then again,1987,someone in the crowd probably said "that was a fantastic pass"!!!!Lol.

  • @dmshoes I laughed so hard when I saw the pass. It`s even funnier in the replay.

  • 3:14 did Mike just slap the ref on the butt after his dunk hahahaha... The Master!!!

  • yay!!!! basketball under water!!!!(:

  • That season he scored more than 3,000 points, only Jordan and Wilt have ever done that

  • kobe and jordan their rookie time kobe just was not good enough start , jordan skill level was so fare beyond!

  • OMG LOVE IT AT 4.00

  • john is like a porn star ahahahah

  • wtf???? 37.1 PPG thats real good, noone has that now

  • @lettuceko Yep, and how he gets compared to Kobe and LeBron saddens me.

  • With all these swept and getting swept. Michael Jordan is undefeated in the Finals..and holds the Finals scoring average and you don't see any guards taking Defensive Player Of The Year. Close by light years...lol

  • Jordan gave the ref a pat on the ass after he made the dunk 3:14. He already owned the league it was just a matter of getting the Bulls in the winners circle.

  • only mj can do that loll

  • Mjs record without pippen means nothin..those yrs the bulls had a crap team and the later yrs for the wizards, also a crap team and Mj was old..pippens record without Jordan was with an already well established bulls team so these comparisons are pointless...we all know who was a better player...and as for the kobe vs Jordan debate..I love Kobe and hes awesome, but MJ is the GOAT hands down...

  • And some ppl say Kobe is as good as Jordan or even better. I ask myself whether Kobe has the physical ability dashing or jamming like Jordan or a near similar hang time. Ridiculous talkin about that...

  • If these videos didn't exist as proof, there is no way in this world that I'd believe a player as good as Michael Jordan ever existed... UNREAL ability!

  • @SLUGTHUG

you are embarrassing yourself with comparing mindless high school players and zone defenses being more difficult to score on than hand checks and people who actually hit you when you drive and KNOW HOW TO PLAY basketball.

also learn that def ratings are not the deciding factor on in determining good defenses. Def ratings means pts per 100 possessions. today you have the majority of players who cant score in a water down league with 7 more teams who cant hit a mid range shot.

  • Red Kerr was the luckiest man alive, he saw all the bulls MJ games!!

  • MEH ... KOBE did 62 in 3 Quarters

  • @SLUGTHUG

did they have hand checking? players allowed to camp out in the lane without a 3 sec call?

oh and he scored against the a stout defense like the mavs and raptors........who the fuck cares about Kobe?

he's a wanna be Michael ripping off everything he does and never doing anything better

  • @Dkouts57

Um ....what about Zone rules, Einstein ?

Weaker Era ? .....go check the defense ratings from "MJ's Era" and compare them with todays Era ....it's laughable.

KOBE dropped 81 with 46 shots .... MJ took 49 shots and only mustered 69

    Hahahaha

  • @SLUGTHUG

also dumb ass maybe you should factor in that in the respective highest scoring seasons Jordans' DefRating league wide was 108.3 to 106.2 when Kobe chucked 35 a game. yet FT% and FG % was worse when Kobe put up those pts. and when theres a 2.1 pts a game difference yet teams took 800 more shots per year. 10 more shots and only 2.1 more shots. WOW the DEFENSE!!!

piss off moron, talk to someone who hasn't been watching basketball for 8 years douche!

  • @SLUGTHUG

i did some research Einstein.....on your defensive rating

Kobe's 81 pts was done on the raptors. Rating: 112.7 (wow solid)

    Kobe's 62 on the Mavs :105.0

even Jordans 69pts was on the Cavs: 107.2 rating. yet its better than the Mavs because they allowed 9.7 more shots a game and only 2.2 pts more. its not even debatable.

Douche with your rating argument....blown up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SLUGTHUG

Lets look at the teams and players Kobe played.

look at these studs: Aaron McKie, twilight Miller and Allen (both will never be remembered for defense) Courtney fuckin Lee who would not hold a roster spot on any of the teams Jordan played against. Richard Hamilton who Jordan at 40 was better than.Kerry Kittles? STUD!!!

not to mention how Kobe never guards a prime scorer on the other team. he hides. example: game 2 2010' finals Allen lights him up and they switch Fisher on him. hide!

  • @SLUGTHUG

the copycat who couldn't invent his own game or his own style but had to jock Jordan all his life and still does couldnt make the playoffs without shaq or gasol. got bounced to a garbage no defense phoenix team int eh 1st round twice and played like crap in the process. he has one LONE debatable MVP. ONE lonely in an NBA where the great players aren't as good. One teeeeny tiny. With no where close to scoring titles, DEF POY award. he has two rings and the lead guy. Thanks RON!

  • @SLUGTHUG also you young douche Laker fan

Jordans finals # are nothing you should be talking about. shall we compare???

    Jordan= .481 fg%/ 33.6ppg / 6.0 reb/ 6.0 ast = undefeated, 6times the MVP

    Kobe = .412fg%/ 24.7 ppg / 5.4 reb/ 4.9 ast = crap defender, 2 time MVP thanks Ron!

40pt + games (because if i went how many times +35pts it would be embarrassing)

    Jordan = 6

    Kobe =1 ....on Courtney Lee...wow!

game winners...everyone will remember Jordan's MANY! Kobe??? no i cant remember...can you??

  • @SLUGTHUG

bottom line my young laker idiot while you watch your lakers and think Kobe is a rival to the GOAT when he's not even the greatest Laker.

12 years after Kobe retires no one will be buying his shoes more after he retires than when he played. No one will make video games with Kobe's greatest moments ( he has none that's why). And no one will care. they continue to look for the next Jordan, no one will be looking for the next Kobe

  • @Dkouts57 ROFLMFAOOOO

    MJ's Record without PIPPEN

MJ's team record Reg. season team record: 87-95

    MJ's team postseason record: 1-9

KOBE's record without SHAQ & GASOL.

Kobe's team record Reg. season team record:112-112

    Kobe's team postseason record: 4-8

MJ needs to thanks PIPPEN for manufacturing his CAREER. ROFL

  • @SLUGTHUG

lol....atleast Jordan could make the playoffs without a 2nd guy in a tougher NBA. but are you factoring in Pippens rookie yr where he avg 8pts a game? or his 2nd yr at 14pts a game? yeah thanks to Pippen. We also saw what Pippen did the 2 years Jordan was out of basketball. and saw him when Jordan retired.

thank god for pippen with all those big games, game winners.

i have a question.....did you ever see Pippen play prior to the Blazers???

  • @Dkouts57

    ROFL

PIPPEN made the 2nd round without MJ.

MJ never made the 2nd round without PIP

    LMAO

PIPPEN won 55 games without MJ

    Highest MJ won without PIP = 40 - 42

    Highest KOBE won without SHAQ/GASOL = 45-37

    ROFL

  • @SLUGTHUG

I wonder what Scottie would have done without Michael at the same years!? U r rediculous! It´s normal that one player can´t even run an whole team. Scottie couldn´t after Michaels retirement,Kobe couldn´t, Shaq couldn´t (Orlando)....

  • @Dkouts57

MJ got SWEPT TWICE without PIPPEN .....and has a losing record 87-95.

While PIPPEN has a winning record without MJ, and even made the WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS without MJ in 2000. ........while MJ was 1st Round exits without PIPPEN.

KOBE never got Swept without SHAQ and GASOL.

Whereas, SHAQ got SWEPT without KOBE in the NBA finals in 94 against HAKEEM.....and shaq also got swept by chicago in 2007 in the First round.

  • @SLUGTHUG

Yeah getting swept by the 86' celtics and avg 50!!!! wow Jordan sucks!

  • @Dkouts57

    (Cont'd)

GASOL also got swept 3 times without KOBE ....... 0 -12

    ROFL

Out of all these guys... the only ones that faired well without the others are KOBE and PIPPEN.

    ROFL @ MJ.

  • @SLUGTHUG

    by your logic

Pippen and Kobe should be the bets players ever. Sadly Kobe doesn't crack the top 10 and Pippen is just a top 5 small forward.

NBATV and ESPN classics could educate you by watching basketball prior to 2001

begone fool no one other than an idiot young laker fan would ever agree with you

  • @Dkouts57

    JORDAN'S RECORD WITHOUT PIPPEN.

    NOT ONE WINNING SEASON, ROFL

NOT EVEN ONE v-('_')-v .....come on MJ, You can do better.

    1984-1985 - 38-44.

    1985-1986 - 30-52.

    1986-1987 - 40-42.

    2001-2002 - 37-45.

    2002-2003 - 37-45.

  • @SLUGTHUG .

mj come TO CHICAGO BULLS IN 1984 AND take the bulls into the playff for the 1st time in 5 years.

  • @SLUGTHUG Michael Jordan 28.2 PPG. as a rookie. Koby Bryant 7.6 PPG. as a rookie. Michael Jordan is the best scorer in average in a regular season, playoffs an finals. If you want i can give you more stats about Michael Jordan.

Did you know that you make a fool of yourself? How dare you compare the greatest with Kobe!!

If you ask a basketball player who is/was better...they will laugh the shit out of you and always say Jordan.

  • @vuongph

You're just prevaricating, and refusing to refute my posits with a cogent rebuttal.

    prodigiously indicative of your insipience.

    Have a good-day Lummox.

  • @vuongph LOL true .. MJ is by FARRRR the greatest ever. 2nd best of all time isn't even close to Jordan at all.

  • Kobe didn't start as a rookie, Jordan did. Jordan played more minutes and therefore scored more points. Because Kobe was on the bench, he didn't play as much, and didn't average as many points.

  • @ioguntol

Jordan averaged 30PPG at 32 years of age, won the MVP,All Star MVP and Finals MVP. Kobe at 32? 25PPG and won NOTHING.

haha. GTFO. No one will ever match Jordan over a career span.

  • @Nintariz Kobe was All Star MVP too this year

  • @ioguntol

Jordan won MVP,All Star MVP, scored 30ppg, won the scoring title, won finals MVP and won a championship...oh, and his team also broke the all time wins record.

    Kobe who?

  • @SLUGTHUG

Wowww you're a complete trolling douche. What happened when Jordan retired after the first three peat? No more championships until when? When Jordan came back. Right, Pippen was awesome and he was Jordan's righthand man but really?? REALLY!? You're a buffoon. And the Lakers have always been good so you can't even compare Kobe to Jordan in that sense because MJ gave them all of their championships and Kobe has only given them some love kobe but stfu..rofl @ mj??? two words..Space Jam

  • @SLUGTHUG keep bringing up defensive rating douche bag who never saw basketball pior to 2002'. you are talking defensive ratings which account for pts per 100 possesions. in a league and time when teams take far less overall shots, shoot % far worse than when Jordan played. you are talkign about Finals.

where is Kobe's big moment int he Finals? none! Jordan probably a dozen!

When has Jordan pissed away a finals and be the main reason they lost? NEVER Kobe: DET & BOS & almost game 7. Clutch!

  • @SLUGTHUG are you a child who never saw those teams play and have planted your flag on defensive ratings? try to understand that defensive rating doesn't mean everything young fool. the players when Jordan played played a faster game, shot better from the field and took almost 10 shots a game then the teams today.

why i try to argue with a moron who has never seen Jordan play is starting to dawn on me. Craig Hodges who is Kobe's assistant coach says "no contest who is better, Michael!"

  • @SLUGTHUG

And Jordan could have gotten 80 in 3 quarters....IF HE WANTED TO. See, that's the difference. Jordan only did what had to be done to win the game. Kobe was motivated by selfishness, attention and ego. If Jordan decided he wanted to score 100, he would have scored 100. He could do whatever he wanted.

  • shotty this team in 2k11, young jordan is just filthy

  • he had this thing in his brain that wouldnt let him settle for less than the best, plus the game was too easy for him

  • Did you see the way the crowd reacted to Jordan?! You won't ever see that happen again!

  • i suppose the last basket was the nail in the coffin.....UNREAL

  • @Musclebelt Nasty wasn't it?????

  • What's rare here? : )

  • I think this was the first years the Bulls turned out they lights and played sirius during intros.

  • The young MJ was unstopable

  • all i can say is wow

  • Comment removed

  • 4 min...classic!

  • isn't it crazy how mike became best friends with charles oakley and their relationship survived all of those Bulls vs Knicks games thru the 90's. those games turned love into instant hate.

  • The Truth!!!

  • nobody really moves like jordan does

  • Johnny "Redd" Kerr is going Berzerk during this game!! LOL

  • MJ was a real killer. he can always finish the game with a flurry. he can surpassed 15 pts deficit in the 4th quarter alone. no defender can ever shut him off. on player today that can do this. MJ made these all a habit.

  • NBA finals MJ averaged 40+ PPG for his career. 3 out of the 6 championships the Bulls faced a top 5 defense. Sonics #2, Trailblazers #3, Lakers # 5.

5 of the 6 championships MJ faced teams ranked in the top 10 in defense. Teams mentioned above, Suns, and the Jazz.

4 of 6 championships the Bulls faced opponents with 60+ wins

All six championships the Bulls faced offenses in ranked in the top ten.

3 times the Bulls faced an offense that was ranked in the top 2

    Kobe faced easier competition

  • MJ 50+ scoring games in career= 38 games

    Kobe= 25 games

Comparisons stop now, Kobe can pad his stats all he wants, but Kobe has already had a longer career than MJ, and played more games.

The stats for MJ do not include his stint with the Wizards.

  • I wanna know how did u get all these game tapes???.... i'd like 2 have some of these...

  • How MJ didn't make the All-Defense team during 86-87 has always been beyond me. To average 2.88 steals per game and 1.52 blocks per game (for a Guard?) and be left off is a joke. This would've made it an even 10 for his career.

  • @BKirby23 True that. People forget how dominant MJ was defensively.

#1 all time in blocks for a guard

    #2 all time in steals

#3 all time in rebounds for a guard

And that's including a retirement and missing almost all his second season. Scary.

  • @BKirby23 wow didnt know that. thats better than gerald wallace at his best

  • @BKirby23 there was a lot of jealousy towards Jordan back then...people tried to nitpick on any little thing they could about him. He could have won MVP from 87-93 TBH and been all-defense every year.

  • @BKirby23 Well said man, i mean that's ridiculous numbers, clearly worthy of all defensive team. What a sick player, the best ever

  • Well...in 87...in his 3rd in the league...he already got his superstar bonus?

  • he got it in his rookie year LOL

  • MJ is the GOAT. He's an amazing shooter, all-around offensive player, leader, and defensive player. But I'd just like to say when people point out how Kobe and Bron get their 50+ point games through FTs. Look at MJ's stat line 26-27 from the ft line. He's done it without ft's but, I'm just saying MJ got plenty of superstar calls in his day.

  • 16-25 FOR 58? That's a fuckin NIGHT!

  • jordan,jordan y mas jordan

  • "That kid Jordan. He's gonna be good one day" I bet that's what they were sayin back then.

  • I couldn't believe Jordan wasn't the number one pick when he came out. His game was made for the pros. It wasn't like he came out of nowhere. I had no doubt he was going to be at worst the most exciting player in the game.

  • Hakeem did look more promising because no one thought Jordan will turn out to be this good

    BEST OF ALL TIME!!!!

  • yessur, and that is why i dislike it when alot of hype surrounds young players

  • thats where youre completely wrong , he came out of fucking nowhere and even jordan said it

  • this man is a machine... lovin this old highlights

  • If you want an indicator as to how Jordan evolved as a teammate, check out the shot at 4.37 and then watch his bench. In his later years with the bulls, they would have been on their feet. Blessed with amazing natural ability, he grew into a leader.

  • 1:38, Jordan played Brown like a fittle....damn!!!

  • MJ is just the best ever but can anyone tell me how many points petrovic finished with in this game cos he too was an awesome player (if he even played this game)

  • michael jordans best ppg average was 37.1 points. it was in this year.

  • the greatest player we have ever seen

  • cant nobody touch MJ PEROID

  • mj is the best nobody can't say nothing about mj

  • holy fukin shit this is amazing

  • that last move just left me speechless! its sad how people who see lebrone and kobe tend to forget jordan so easily, there's no place for comparison

  • sometimes it is boring to watch lebron cause u know its ball then bulldoze that gets so old no offense bron i love ya man but thats so old.

  • 64 % FGPCT WOW

  • Problem is, there is noone that can ever do anything jordan hasnt already done. Kobe is a great clutch player but falls short in total arsenal of moves. Lebron is big and strong, but noone will ever be as great as this man, not even close....

  • partially agreed. kobe's a great player and is exceptional at clutcj (with the exception of this year's finals for some reason), but lebrone is just a mediocre player who has nothing but athletism. he has an average jump shot and lacks in so many aspects of the game, including clutch.

  • He averaged over 7rpg and over 7apg is that lacking? He shot a higher fg% than Kobe and scored 30ppg in the season you're refering to (the 07-08 season). Then in the following season he essentially did the same thing only he scored 28.4ppg and his defensive stats were considerably better. Then in last year's playoffs he put up numbers not seen since Bird, Magic, and West. How is he mediocre again?

  • playoff numbers never seen since bird, magic and west? the only difference is that these guys actually won something in playoffs more than sweeping miserable teams like the pistons and hawks.

when it comes to talent lebrone is considered mediocre, but he makes it up with his enormous speed and athleticism, that's what lebron's all about - dunking and driving to the hoop. if you're talking about pure basketball talent lebron just comes up short

  • he's lacking. if lebron had the athleticism of luol deng. luol deng would be better.

  • Uhhhh.....still no. :)

  • 2:22 Heeeeeeell nooooooo!!

  • Lebron plays a different position than Jordan, also still very very young so comparisons are mute. But Lebron's game is ahead of the rest of league similar to Jordan was in his time.

  • Kobe Bryant > Lebron James

  • Uhhh....no.

  • Uhh... yes.

  • Nope. Lebron's game isn't ahead. He dominates through physicality and bulldozes his way in to get most of his points. But he still needs massive development when it comes to the midrange game, posting up, moving without the ball, using screens, shooting jumpers with consistency, etc. Lebron is far from being a complete player. But it sure is scary that despite that he is putting up monster performances.

  • nobody will ever egal his moves... he was so quick at the time ...another level of thinking the game of basketball...i love so much watching these videos...he is the greatest for a very long time...

  • i never get sick of watching these videos....il be watching him till the day I die

  • Lebrons game + Kobes game = Mike?

  • Nah man. MJ can't do the crab travel as well as Lebron. hehe

  • he also had 8 rebounds with at least 3 steals and was (16-25) from the field dumbass. youre not a ballhog when you hit 65% of your shots ass. that other dude you mentioned shouldnt be in the same sentence as the greatest.

  • In fact, it was 64%, not 65%...

  • ughh, thanks for that unecessary correction which still goes with my initial point.

  • Your an idiot Jordan Owns

  • Jordan averaged more assists during his career than kobe, so what does that make kobe? And 26 free throws doesn't mean you're overrated, it means you're getting fouled constantly because the other team can't handle you.

  • Are you a moron? Jordan shot high FT totals in far less of his 50+ pt games than Kobe. Jordan also shot far better in his 50+ pt games than Kobe, who has some of the only 50+ pt games on record where a player shoots less than 50%! lol. Remember, Jordan not only averaged far more ppg than Kobe, but more assists as well!

  • ok, Jordan was with the bulls for 13 seasons and look what he accomplished. kobe has been in the league for 12 seasons and hasent accomplished even a quarter of what jordan has done. history is written! kobe is a great player, but not the goat!

  • I`m a Kobe-hater, but in fact, we have to say that Kobe has accomplished the half of Jordan`s achievements... Kobe has 3 championship rings... Jordan had 6...

  • kobe hasnt accomplished half of anything. the championship is a team accomplishment and unless you were the leader of that team than you cant be compared to MJ. Shaq was the leader of the lakers. mike=6 finals mvp's. kobe = 0 finals mvp's.

  • Maybe you`re right, but as much as we hate Kobe, we have to say that he`s one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history.

  • i dont hate anyone.i agree, kobe is great! but we just have to watch comparing one of the greatest 2 guards to the greatest player thats ever played the game!

  • wow you are dumb, how old are you, 4?

  • by the way did you see the 37.1 ppg... tell me when kobe can do that

  • hey acually I think that one 81 point season he may have averaged that? 37ppg

  • naw he averaged 35 ppg

  • It was 37.1 that year...

  • Look at the crowd. Even with a 20 pts advantage they cheer with so much energy!. Michael Jordan, simply the best of all time.

  • I've seen this game in it's entirety. Jordan took himself out of the game with about 4 minutes left because they were blowing out the Nets. He didn't stay in the game to pad his stats on meaningless free throws like Kobe Bryant would have.

  • Kobe took himself out of the game against the Mavericks when he had 62 after 3 quarters. What are you talking about?

  • Jordan was 24 in 87!

  • Did u see that block at 2:23? I keep on hearing about today's NBA being faster, stronger, and better. Can someone show me a clip of today's guards getting that up in the air to protect the paint? You would have to sift through the NBA's games season by season to find something like that and this was just the half of his game that's overshadowed by his undeniable offensive game. Not even in their dreams can today's players do that.

  • LMAO look @ 4:52 the guys on the bunch are shaking their heads like "WTF" ??

  • What's funny is this season doesn't even rank in my top 5 as far as MJ's best overall seasons. I rank '89, '91, '88, '90 and '92 over '87.

  • what u mean i rank....u mean when u play you score that many..lol...well get this ...he is playing the best of the best,,the people who were good anough to get throught and he is taking them on easy...thats what you call amazing....and that was 1987...i know is not that far back but now we have all these new stuff we can use and all those technology...they just played because they loved bball...and thats why he is the best in the world of history of basketball

  • Jordan was just insane in his prime Ave 37.1 in 1987 shooting 54 percent. Only guard to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in a season and did twice. Jordan=GOAT

kobe and everyone else not even close

  • that year he ended up shooting 48.2% which was only his 2nd lowest shooting % (not including injured years/Wizard Years)

Kobe has never shot that high - LeBron could never get higher

  • 37.1 points per game... ooo my god !!!

The most players in NBA never scored 37 points

in one game. plus 5.8 steals p.g...CRAZY !!!

  • ..5.8 steals? i don't think so.. 2.8!

  • WOW just WOW!

  • jordan had the best footwork ever he could get any shot he wanted

  • Watching Michael Jordan play is real special to me. This is the year I was born, and 11 years later I was watching him still kick ass. My grandma loved watching him play, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird were her favorites. I missed the magic/bird era but thank God I caught the end of Jordans and didn't grow up around kobe/lebron and think that was real talent.

  • What's wrong with Lebron and Kobe? They're not as good as Jordan because he'll always be the best, but sometimes I wonder why all the old-timers are bashing Lebron and Kobe every chance they get. Those guys worked hard to become superstars, and all they get for it is a bunch of people hating on them for trying.

Jordan is the best. No one's denying that. There're some other good players in today's league, though. Give them at least a bit of respect instead of treating them like trash.

  • Well, I know a lot of old timers are a little miffed at LeBron because he such a primitive, childish game. I remember watching Rick Barry pound his head against the table wondering why LeBron didn't know how to use a screen. This was after the 2007 finals. Bron Bron doesn't understand that what made Jordan CONSISTENT was his perfect fundamentals. It gave he easy shots and allowed him to do it over and over. The athleticism took him over the top. LeBron is 6'9" 260 and can't post up. Sad.

  • you are absolutely wright, thats why he could still score being almost 40... jordan was excellent at every facette of the game... when critizised for being only an offensive player he became defensive player of the year a year later when being a ballhog 8 assists per game i am not questioning the abilities of lebron but he is no where near jordan he is dominating because he is a big power forward with pg skills kobe in my eyes could have been as good as jordan but he lacks that last bit of will

  • not to mention, they say lebron has great pg skills even, but his footwork still sucks.

I hate when people say he can play all 5 positions. I say to them, stragith up. CAN HE REALLY? Would you ACTUALLY put him in as a center if all the other spots were filled up? I didn't think so. He lacks the fundamentals to be a great PF or C (not to mention his horrid post moves). He definitely can't play shooting guard becuase of his mediocre shooting ability, and needs some footwork help b4 playing pg

  • Lebron's footwork is horrendous, I agree. That is because he is slew-footed. He gets by because he can overpower everyone that guards him on the wing and he can jump over all these slow, musclebound big men in the NBA today.

  • When people say LeBron can play C or PF they mean he can play those positions in spurts. Like 5 or 10 minutes.

  • right on. great adjective on leborn's game.

he is definitely a well built athletic players that plays well in certain area, like fast break, and his passing game is quite nice too.

i guess leborn doesnt have to play like jordan, but he could learn his footwork and moving without the ball rather than just getting mj fadeaway.

it is indeed weird that, with his frame, he could do a lot of damage inside. well his athleticism is helping out a lot this season, (cont)

  • but still i could not appreciate him as a complete player, and he is definitely less fun ( by a lot) to watch vs mj's game.

  • they do work hard. but they also earn a shit load coming in the game before they have ever proved themselves to be worthy( like winning the champs or getting close to it)

the main problem about the new stars is their attitude problems. they are obviously influenced by the hip hop culture which is also related to a lot of undesirable stuff. and their out spoken arrogrance are very digusting to the old-timers. as jordan always said, they have to earn the respect and they are still young.

  • everyone was always sayin Kobe was a ballhog n look at this. 3 asts! when kobe scores 60 or more pts in a game next season, i dont wanna hear nothin

  • MJ's team in his 3rd year was full of bums and had less talent than any of the teams Kobe has ever had. And when you're shooting 48% from the field (unlike Kobe who in all of his career hasn't shot that percentage), then damn if I was the coach I'd let MJ shoot as much as he wants.

  • Yeah, until the Wizards era, which really doesn't count, MJ ALWAYS had a higher field goal % than his team. Last time I checked, Kobe had only done that once or twice.

  • Mike was actually fighting the flu during this game, I remember reading about that. Awesome, you forget how explosive he was.
