  • For this price, I rather go for a Vornado fan...

  • My right ear's lonely

  • prices £200

  • Your typical window air conditioner costs less. Hell even a fancy model window air unit would be about this price....such a rip off.

  • a 200 lb. fan?????

  • @Samsonsuperco You're kidding right?

  • @Samsonsuperco £ or pounds as in the british currency.

  • @Samsonsuperco ur a dumbass let me see ur an american. pound is the money system in england while its dollars in america

  • I HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!

  • I HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!

  • clean your nail sir!

  • @DonMega187 those are knockoffs. I hope you knowmthat

  • So that's how it works!

  • who would pay $300. for a fan

  • How about hissing noise when adjust to top speed? Will the noise be louder than conventional fan?

  • Compare it like this: A clio does the same job as a ferarri, costs much much more but which would you prefer?

  • @BreadForButter yes a ferrari is more expensive, but it is so much better than a clio (faster, better driving dynamic etc). This isn't better than a regular fan in any way.

  • @MaseratiMC12R Its a matter about style and luxury. Sure a ferarri might not be much 'better' than a clio, an Armani suit may not be more stylish than one from primark. This fan may not be better than a normal one. But if money isn't an issue and you prefer style and uniqueness this is the obvious choice.

  • i wonder wat if u put your dick in one end will it stretch

  • 300 fucking dollars. I'm waiting for cheap

    chinese knock off.

  • Does that mean if i fart into the fan on one side, it will come out the other side 15x faster!?

  • @MrTenpence

When he told the presenter how much money he spent on the Dyson, the presenter's eye nearly popped out their sockets. LOL!

  • they're only 3000php here in philippines. that's about 50euros. typical fans are from 800-1500php. dunno why the huge price difference in uk then

  • @DonMega187 where can you buy it in manila? is it in the malls? SM?

  • my friend who used to work for a hospital said they had a patient who came in with his penis cut off cause he stood too close a fan after taking a shower....this should solve the dangers of penises getting cut off due to those dang fans................hooray for the penis proof fan!

  • lol. home depot had 16 inch oscillating pedestal fans on sale for 2 for twenty dollars this summer. you could have bought thirty of them for the price of this dyson model, assuming that it is the correspondingly higher price in dollars.

it is a cool little novelty though and no doubt will eventually come down in price. i can predict the need for frequent cleaning of those tiny little induction vents near the base of the fan.

  • Could you have gotten a worse looking fan to compare to the Dyson? I mean seriously that is one ugly fan.

  • If Dyson was sold in the Philippines, i think that Air Multiplier thingy would cost an estimated P5000+. my Camel Stand fan i have costs P2000 or more

  • Chill the fuck out with the "its for rich people." Its for people who want to invest in a fancy new piece of tech, nothing wrong with that. I would have one.

  • @gilamunja

Yes, you're right, It IS for people who want to " invest in a fancy new piece of tech" And in this case, an extremely, EXTREMELY overpriced fancy piece of tech. And who invests in those....well...rich people.

  • whe the fuck woud you name it "air multiplier"?it doesn't multiply anything, well ,the bill maybe

  • @rusurazvan Because it moves more air than what is moved by the small fan in the base due to a build-up of lower pressure region _behind_ the air multiplier.

  • @rusurazvan fail

  • i know a fan that has no blades and its for free!!..its called wind..try it sometimes..order online

  • @whatthi Farts?

  • 200pounds to cool down my instant noodles? fuck that.

  • china i is making a bunch of copies and selling them for a fraction of the price.

  • I think they should review the new Dyson Hot (A heater)

  • ley me rephrase: the 20 lb fan actually and on the long run works about the same way as the air multiplier

  • Wouldn't dust build up inside that thing really fast?

  • does the design work underwater? if so how does it affect manatees?

  • but i cat talk into it ad sound like a robot

  • u do know that the IQ system is based on 100 and is highly inaccurate. Also it is your ability to learn and figure things out not knowing facts.

  • eu teria vergonha de ter intentado essa merda.

  • It would be nice if we could actually hear the guy answer.

  • @swiftdan8

On the contrary, My IQ is 210, and I have a great world view. I feel sorry for those like yourself who are limited by their ignorance.

  • @Paradox6400 Your IQ is 210? I highly doubt that. However, if that is true, you need to go and show this to the world, because this is a remarkable breakthrough in human intellegence.

  • @BKerryFTW

I wish it ment something, But in this day its not that impressive, considering that there are people out there with IQ's over 300. Regarding my IQ, there are thousand's of people with IQ's of over 200.

  • @Paradox6400 Your IQ over 200?

Bullshit. this guy is just another stupid internet warrior trying to impress people behind a screen to boost his own ego. The highest IQ recorded was over 200.. if yours is over 200 you wouldn't be sitting on your fat ass on the computer.. you would be actually making a difference in the world. BTW no one in the whole fucking world has an IQ of over 300 and people with an IQ over 200 isn't common. You are such a pathetic loser.

  • @BKerryFTW He is lying, the highest IQ recorded is 210 and he is not that person. There is no one with an IQ over 300

  • @swiftdan8

I didn't fall for anything, I don't own one, but unlike you I actually understand the principles behind the technology.

  • @swiftdan8

Vacuums don't have "Blades" either but they still generate air flow right? Don't post a comment if you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • lol. These dudes are awesome. They are so unbiased it's like listening Wikipedia.

  • @swiftdan8 OK OK It TECHNICALY has blades, there in the base. But it's easier to say no blades rather than saying it has an impeller in the base that moves more air.

  • @swiftdan8 I can tell you from personal experiences, these fans are very much real indeed. No fakery here.

  • Or if you want to look like a tool who spent $200+ this is for you

  • @swiftdan8 facepalm...

  • I love how the sound is sterioscopic!

  • @KrisMcAwesome stereophonic. 'stereoscopic' relates to vision.

  • @KrisMcAwesome Ha whoops, I had been watching stereoscopic videos on youtube all day xD

  • @swiftdan8 you think the Dyson air multiplier is fake?

  • i have my headfones on(im a dj) and i had it full volume wow the sound quality on this video it seem like if i was there o.0

  • its pricey yeah, but its freakin' cool. the major downside for me is that my voice DOES NOT sound robotic when i talk to it anymore :(

  • @cyrus364 fuck yea!!!!!!

  • Who pays £200 for a fan!??

  • i wish i had a british accent.

  • overpriced piece of shit!

  • they neglected to test the DV quotient of this fan. in other words, how much it makes you sound like darth vader if you stand behind it and say "luke i am your father". i'm guessing it doesn't at all. you may file my lack of faith under "disturbing".

  • The guy on the right looks at the guy in the red shirt like he's about to kill him or something.

  • seems like a reasonable price for an occasional quick blow job on demand

  • You guys.. Rich people need fans too!

  • @maxbabybaby that was well said.

  • @maxbabybaby lol, thats why i bought one, now i'm getting the new Dyson Hot!

  • @maxbabybaby Rich people use air conditioning.

  • Damn, that dirty finger! .. From a break in a min 5 sec

  • *cough* audio levels.

  • i actually enjoy air buffing

  • HOLY FUCK THE FUTURE IS NOW

  • Great objective review with explanation of work mechanics truly wonderful thanks guys.

  • 200 is ludicrous, the design is so simple that i wonder how long untill we see a chinese clone for 20 pounds.

it would be a bugger to clean as well, sod opening up the casing and all the rest...it's going to get like the inside of a PC in there after not long i'd imagine.

  • Unless the kids knock it down...

  • @TheSaltySack they do have it for boats already....its called a jet drive like what's on a jet ski....been around for decades

  • With 200 pounds, I can get a big ass fan plus a noise-cancelling headphone. Same coolness, zero noise.

And if your kids are sticking their body parts into the fan grills, you should NOT be a parent.

  • Big whoop. this is shit! I'll care when they make a fan that blows clean air, new air, real air! When a fan that produces fresh, new, non polluted, amazing, heavenly air, then I'll care. Until then, it's just a fan.

  • Ohhh, when I first saw it I thought there woud be more to it then just moving the fan into the base : ( Something like no moving parts at all...

  • @iK0Nii Exactly how i felt!!! Same old technology jazzed up to look cool

  • Wow for once Uk people talking doesnt make me wana punch infants. Im shocked about these facts,i woulda thought it was gonna be pretty good....

  • Ok first I want to thank you for being PARTIALLY honest about this. The reason I say partially is that you did cover that the buffeting is just crap and that they use the same amount of energy. The down side is that you did say it is easier to clean, actually its not and here is why: to clean the blades and filter of the "bladeless" fan you must open the housing.

  • IM NOT FUCkING BUYING THAT BUT I WANT IT!!!!!!

  • LOL 10 times the pprice...so basically, this is for rich people who want to make their home look " fancy " or " advanced"....otherwise, its just a pile of shit for us average working joes.

  • @MixeTube i am so rich i can afford airconditioning

  • I might buy one if they were 50 bucks...but $300? No thanks.

  • for 200 pounds you could've gotten yourself a portable air conditioner! epic fail

  • So if I put a light bulb in the base of a lamp and just funnel the light out the top, can I sell it for 300 dollars? lol...

  • @MrSwampdragon too late, the light multiplier was my idea. Got the patent already to prove it :p

  • Anyone else feel a breeze when it turned on?

  • As usual. Dyson is just overpriced eyecandy. He definitely studied Apple and SJ. (has that same SJ delivery and pompous attitude)

  • so if you spit through it and there is another person on the other side, your spit will shoot through 15x faster?

  • i just saw a commercial for this Dyson fan here in Canada..i will stick my fabulous 18 dollar fan with the grills and blades..

  • this is stupid

  • Hugh Lauries younger brother prefers the regular fans ...

  • $318 for a fan with no blades? Dumb

  • when he said 200 pounds i was like holy crap how is something that heavy a desk fan but then i remembered theyre british, not american

  • ben so fancies al but hasn't told him yet...

  • @MoeMonkey78 haha – you just inadvertently epitomised "Which?". They are famous in the UK for their impartial, unbiased reviews. Basically, in a world full of dirty underhand advertising, it's not advertising.

  • @patsnou I totally agree. It was a great honest review and now we all know it's not worth $300.00. I'd like to see more straightforward stuff like here in the U.S..

  • why not do it with water for boats..

  • uk advertising.. i dont understand it :D

it didnt sound like he wanted to sell it he kind of made it sound equaly as bad as good

  • I WANT MOAR POWER!!!!!

  • I wanna buy 2 of these fans and put them in front of each other. Then put a peanut butter sandwich between them and it will float. After that will I ask my dog to eat the levitating bread. The dog will fly. If the dog won't fly then I want my money back. I need to know about flying dogs before buying this

  • @stefevr My nose hurts from an infusion of soda thanks to you, bastard.

  • the host kinda looks like hugh laurie...dont you think?

  • Does anyone think that they could build something like Dyson's fan with less than 300$?

  • Huh. At that price, not impressive at all. I'm thinking that Dyson (isn't thinking) with a modest salaried mind.

  • Best review for anything I've ever seen I wish more video game reviews etc. were like this. Good work.

  • I use my fan at night because of its signature almost airplane engine sound. This sounds like a vacume and would not give the same effect...

  • Ripoff....too loud and all plastic!

  • not worth $299,, if its hot not humid then maybe but for 299 u can by a good ac

  • i'm waiting for China version, would be cheap and i would be happy to buy it

  • I purchased one and returned it. Even though they look nice, the engine makes a lot of noise at high levels. It sounds like a blow dryer on high. I couldn't take it. I find traditional fans with blades are pretty quiet and blow much harder....

  • "And now a word from our credit card sponsor, since you won't have all the cash you need to pay for this luxury fan."

  • i thought the guy said 'witch technology expert' during the intro. So thats how it works, interesting.

  • this is the best review i've ever seen

  • thanks guys for being so genuine and not just selling this fan as a must have or something

  • Cool design but they need to sell these at Dollar Tree

  • @chunderbunder1 But with no buffeting your junk won't flap back and forth in the wind, total deal breaker.

  • @chunderbunder1 Not to mention your dick won't get chopped off when you stick it all the way inside.

  • @louspintoo: Or so you'd think. When I tried it out on the one in the store my dick mysteriously got chopped off anyway.

Tried suing em, but they said my wiener had just been "multiplied".

  • @chunderbunder1 lmao comment of the year

  • @chunderbunder1

    You Sir, are awesome.

  • Stupid

  • Loud

  • The Dyson Air Multiplier is supposed to be better than a regular fan in GENERAL. "Is the performance 10X better?" is kind of a dumb question.

  • @tubeviewerX20 He asked that question because the Dyson fan is 10x more expensive. So, asking if it is 10x better is only logical.

  • it was on sale at ABC warehouse for $299 and that's still too much for me. However, I noticed that the air coming from it was actually cooler than the window air conditioning unit they had by the door.

  • the way reviews are meant to be.

  • What's the the fun if you can't kill kids with it?

  • OOOOoooo, the leaves were a nice touch. The Dyson doubles as a leaf blower!!! Now I understand why it cost the same, correction...more.

  • I'm not a fan.

  • nice stereo voice:))

  • These Dyson fans are LOUD. A friend of mine has one, and I've seen several in stores. The fact is, the design is brilliant, but, in everyday use, the loudness discourages use. You do NOT want to try to carry on a conversation anywhere near one of these fans, whereas, if you're using a decent bladed fan, such as a Vornado, it's MUCH quieter, and still puts out more air. I'd never buy one for that reason. The novelty isn't worth putting up with the roaring noise, and it's less efficient.

  • @Berus7777 it works more for less energy, in this world we are living that is really important

  • @Frank2Venezuela Try sitting next to this fan and telling someone how important it is - they won't be able to hear you, AND they'll still be hot. (it does NOT "work more" - these fans move FAR less air than a Vornado fan costing 1/10th the price.

  • @Berus7777 i dont know man i dont have it, im just saying that its good that people is trying to make things that work better for the worlds health

  • For $300 THEY ARE RIPPING THEMSELVES OFF. They can make a lot more net profit by lowing the price, selling volumes and aggressive marketing. It is an awsome design with a great curiosity factor. The production cost is probably about the same as most fans.

  • Finally!!! A REAL review!! These guys ask and answer all the questions about it, and what ti does. Great Job guys! We need you on a TV show of your own in the USA.

  • lol who cares about $ , do you need to buy one of these every day? NOPE

U go for the $32 one if you like to own junk.... I DONT

  • @remmel100 just because you dont want to admit you wasted your money. You could buy a fucking used car for the same amount as that fan..

  • In American dollars, he spentt $32 on that desk fan. In my honest opinion, that is a ripoff.

  • @Derpinguin44 americans are used to cheap things

  • @darkknight302 Hahahahaha. Ha. A good metal blade desk fan with a 4 pole AC motor goes for $20. That's not exactly "cheap things."

  • @Derpinguin44 how much for the dyson??

  • @BatCav3Productions Roughly $322 U.S. Dollars.

  • what happens if you stick your dick in that large hole of wind?

  • @myaclick The same thing that happens when you stick it in your blow up doll. Nothing. ;)

  • So reeeeaally the only advantage it has is the power adjustment knob. How revolutionary.

  • @ecodimension lol what? Clearly someone hasnt grasped elementry economics. Supply and demand bro

  • @BillyBobTS Guess you dont understand what Ecodimension meant.

More people buy, more manufacturers invest in making them in bulks, which will lead to lower prices

  • @RomanceAnimeFanatic and if only economics worked like that. More people who buy it simply gives corporations an excuse to either raise the price or keep it the same. While finding ways to produce and distribute them cheaper.

  • the panning on this is annoying xDD

    good review though :)

  • I'm not a fan.

  • its just far more too expensive. i believe the quality and quality is good but in this moment its not affordable for me, how about you buddy?

  • we need more people to buy these. so they'll drive the prices down.

  • @EcoDimension They need to drive price down so more people will buy it.. Just wait for chinese xD

  • My honeywell fan is a bitch to clean (I just did it and I wanted to scream). It is a beautiful fan as far as air supply and durability. However, they don't last long cause they collect dust like no other and it is so hard to take apart and clean that I never do. It kills the motor. I swear I really want a dyson just don't want to spend that money on a fan. Still it seems awesome enough to maybe spend the money anyways.

  • @ty2

How much are you willing to spend?

I can get you an off-brand one that is identical to this dyson at a fraction of the price....

Same button placement and looks exactly the same, if you're interested, let me know...
