Not even Kris Kristoffersons own version comes close to Johnny Cash's amazing version of this song. Jerry Lee manages to come very close, he is one of those artists that's voice seems to be getting better with age.
Was lucky enough to see Jerry Lee & Chuck on a UK tour a couple of years back. I took my Dad (as he was around during the 50s!) but we both agreed that whilst Berry was more lively, funnier and better showman nowadays....Jerry Lee was the guy putting the effort into the tunes.
