Hi FigaroFigaro86 - that's some awesome playing! Bach is my favourite, while Jon Lord is my inspiration. I'm considering buying a DGX-220 to use when I cannot use my acoustic piano, i.e. late at night - would you recommend it? I've been playing piano for over 6 years, but only studying for Grade 3. I'd love to switch to 'organ' style playing so would appreciate something not expensive to start with. Many thanks & all the best!
@GladRags Hi! well, I really don't know...I've looked for information on the web but I haven't found nothing about it...if you find some information i'll be glad if you could tell me =)
hi. to connect your keyboard you have to connect the usb cable to your pc...but i've found this function useless because what you transfer is a file that contains all the user songs with their settings...in other words you can only do a backup of your user songs, but cannot listen to them in your pc
good demonstration but at the beginning you're to quick do it a little bit slower, and after the first three parts where you to hold the notes , hit the lowest d possible, this will help you complete the full rich bass sound reccommended for that section, and if you want that d lower go to transpose and turn the note down. when you hit the note fortunately there will be enough time for you to raise the heighth of the notes. but do not let go of your d if you do you may want to re transpose it.
I use the USB port very often so I can play downloaded soundfonts and VSTs on my computer. Yes, you can download sounds and then play it with your keyboard.
As for recording from the keyboard. You need a stereo plug and then an adapter to get it into your computer.
well i'm satisfied enough about it, it's not a professional keyboard but it has very beautiful voices and they sounds very good...It also has a usb input for the built-in flash memory, but it cannot works like a "MIDI in"...you can record your performances on the keyboard but cannot tranfer them on your pc because the backup file is a single file that includes not only the performance but also all the settings, and cannot be opened on the pc...Anywhere, I like this keyboard very much.
are those weighted keys?

emergydrink 3 years ago
No, unfortunately you cannot use it as a midi controller...the usb in is only for the built in memory...
FigaroFigaro86 3 years ago
Yes You CAN use it as a MIDI controller. I have it set up and it works great. It is even a little faster than MIDI.
