Hi what are the differences with or without the sound chip. or negatives

I also wanted to do it without the sound chip.

with out a sound modchip its just hooked to one speaker and lights up to the amount of power that the one speaker is geting, with the modchip its hooked to both speakers and lights the leds up to the base of the music

ya master nid help here!!!my psp got no sound.i cant turn the vol up,i press +vol nothing come out..i press -vol then vol bar come out.i press home button nothin out oso.then i press the music button the home menu come out.i go service shop b4 i didnt help pls help me.

im guessing that ur ribbon cable for the vol/start/select is part way disconnected or damaged. if thats the problem u could easily order a replacement somewhere or reconnect it

i need to find a way to give the led's more power or find some that need less cause they r very bright when pluged striaght into the psp battery
