Lovely video! I have just uploaded a colour grading comparison video for magic bullet looks, plus I'm doing a couple of custom colour grading vids. But how did you colour grade this video?

@RosserProductions Thanks. I just used the presets that come with Sony Vegas. Color curves, HSL, brightness and contrast. I just tweaked them until I got the look I wanted.

I was wondering... first of all, do you use a DOF adapter for your HG10 to get those shots? Also, how did you get that opening shot to be that incredibly stable?

No DOF adapter. Just the naked camera. I opened the aperture to 1.8 for almost the entire video. The opening shot actually wasn't stable at all. I just slowed it down a lot so the subtle movements I made are harder to see.

nice vid - is the background sounds part of the Video copilot series? also which version of vegas pro do you use or recommend?

Thanks. Yeah, the music is a part of the Pro Scores from Video CoPilot. I am using Vegas Pro 9.

last question - I have the HG-10 as well - does vegas pro - import the raw MOD file format (or AVCHD) source file directly into the program? or do you have to convert it first? - Thanks again!

No conversion necessary. Vegas will import the .mts files straight off of the camera no problem.

How did you do the colour??

I changed around the contrast and added a little bit more yellow to the midtones. Then I increased the saturation of the colors to boost them a bit.
