they only put this on the wii so that they could make the controls even easier than they were on MvC2...which is good AND bad. overall it's fun and it surprisingly still works. the ONLY two things i dislike about this game are---a terrible boss (the character itself was an awesome choice but he's way too easy and the loading times in between the three versions of him are annoying) and, outside of the boss, a COMPLETE LACK of VILLIAN characters. everyone in this game is a hero. on both sides.

people hating on the game isn't about the graphics, not the characters, nor the controls as 3 buttons to attack isn't new, did people forget the Soul Calibur series already? Hell the VF series basically uses two buttons for attack so that aguement about the buttons fails.

Fact is, their just jealous and pissed that the Wii gets a new VS, while they are stuck with a VS that is still unchanged and broken.

sf4 is alot better than this game, i played the japanese version on a friends modded wii. they make this game look awesome but dont tell you that its just a button masher with 2 or 3 buttons to fight and that the characters do the combos themselves. i was hyped about this game until i played it.

SF4 is good but not that great. if it was so great, i and everyone else wouldn't have to spend $60 again on the same game i got within a year that should have had the crap we're getting in the Super ver., which is characters and the all important balance issue.

2 buttons is all VF has to fight. The Soul Calibur ser. has three buttons to fight. as for your "auto combos", it shows you lack no knowledge of the fighting system at all.

what i meant by button masher is that one fight button alone does the combos, all the punches and kickes everything except the specials are used with that one button. for the specials theres the other button for it and maybe the v >+P combination to use it, depending on the character. so pretty much every character fights the same. if this game would have LP MP and HP(+kicks) controls, i wouldnt have any problem with the game. i like doing their attacks myself and not have a simple button for it
