I ride my bike to the school bus stop when I go to school and I dont wear a helmet or elbo or knee pads. The cops dont care if you wear a hemet or not so bicycle related incidents arnt really a problom around here.
I just relized somthing about the danger rangers....... The Bear.... In the fire PSA he's singin about not setting stuff on fire.... Dose that sound famililer? hmmmm.... starts with an S and ends with a Y he's a bear too..... SPARKY! wait no...........
The 85% figure has been called into question a number of times. What a helmet does do is help stop kids getting nasty road rash to their bonce.
As a curiousity, I wonder how many kids are treated for sports like running, and falling off climbing frames? They dont wear helmets for those, it has to be noted.
