Oil and gasoline really only become a problem when there is a light rain .. That makes the oil float on top of the water and becomes very very slippery basically like ice ..
Dude, Just been reading all these comments, seems to me theres a lot of people who were just simply expelled from the birth canal as the perfect stunt riders ! apparently nobody else remebers when they were not professionals.
what a sad excuse of a video and riding. and wheres this fuel/oil tanker thats spilling all these liquids? ha. Dude your not clutching it right and your tire pressure was most likely off. hot or cold if your too aggressive on the clutch the wheel will slip.
You have no clue why it spun tire. I would say pressure has something to do with it, as well as a worn center section that has been heat cycled many many times. Not to mention your probably not able to comprehend the forces behind the whole thing so I won't blind you with science, but, the force exerted on the rear wheel is plenty to break a tire free if you do it wrong and things are not adjusted properly.
@CBRskisnow ... hardy har. Engineer? For a train? Because I highly doubt anyone with any grasp on geometry, physics, and skilled riding would blame those moments on anything more than you and your bike. If there is indeed that much gas and oil on the road, you have to be absolutely retarded to be riding on it that often whilst clutching wheelies. For one, your putting down 100+hp. Wheel spin happens. Two, your clutching it faster than you should, and three, lower your rear tire pressure 4-5psi.
what happened to you was not working the suspensions left, accelerated in the time I was in compression (motorcycle leaning forward) leaving the rear tire grip. I too have been the same, and it happens with hot or cold numata. Failure to accelerate and speed up again to wheelie, should not be so fast
@CBRskisnow huh, i find it hard to believe there was a 20 or so foot long stretch of "gas or oil"... that you mysteriously did not see, and if there was one you would have yawed slightly to one side or another. i think your clutch slipped orr maybe you have a shit tire.. like a shinko lol. hah you tought us "Newbies" alot thanks lol
@CBRskisnow I know a guy who had a cbr600rr 05, they are just natural traction breakers it seems, he was riding for probably 4 hours & still broke loose on a Pilot Pure rear tire 900mi on it, he would spin everytime he went WOT or tried to clutch it up.

you might be leaning too far forward. try leaning, or sitting back some, next time.

Look at 22 and 23 seconds into it, he tries to power it up and it spins, are some of you that dumb? Its obvious I think, occurs when tyres are cold.

this maybe just me but, did anybody actually see a wheelie?...
MRSHAUN8 6 months ago 2
This may be just me, but doesn't the front wheel have to elevate for it to be a "wheelie"?

@toctuning .....please blind me with your "vast" science knowledge. I'm an Engineer and totally understand the forces involved.

At what minute does it happen?
CaptSaveAHo3 8 months ago 5
@CaptSaveAHo3 at 21s and 23s you can see that I just spin my back tire even though it is hot. There must have been oil/gasoline on the road.
