  • 500$ LOLOLOLOL

  • how many rhinestones?

  • Comment removed

  • If my calculation are correct, you spent about 24 bucks on sequins.

  • It's amazing, but it isn't worth $500... Labor and supplies definitely don't add up to that. Maybe 250 at most... People are better off making their own. Don't take it offensively, it's awesome

  • are those push lights

  • how much was the rhinestones? plz reply!

  • Dude the eyes are totally wrong. They're not flat like this, they're more spherical.

  • omg, i NEED this for a halloween party :T

  • can u see through it??

  • @TheCityYouth ofcourse you can..99% you can of em

  • Lol id give 250$ for this nothing more

  • Are you making anymore I would be willing to pay 300-500 on a custome job....

  • what is the song? and what did you use for the ears?

  • For the eyes, they're push lights right? They seem less elevated than regular push lights, unless you applied the jewels around the side ey?

  • Hi Sinnarg, just wanted to ask for your vote for my Deadmau5 head designs for the contest, I ask cause you make the best heads i have seen.

you can see the video with the designs on my channel just click my name below (spel10001) and if you like em click on the link below my vid and vote. Thanks!

  • looks good.., im building a mau5 head myself and i was wondering where u got the rhinestones??

  • i can get this off of deadmau5 for 175$ u sellin for 500$

  • How long did it take u to put each little bedazzle on

  • The best deadmau5 helmet I have seen yet

  • please post a how to vid or message me because i want to make one over summer so bad!

  • Amazing! Whats the song?

  • How did you make it?

& like what did you use?

  • hey where did yu get the rhinestones?

  • If you could send me the measurements for the ears i would be a happy man! :) Thanks

  • First off, this is a very impressive mau5head!!! :D

Could you please send me a list of dimensions? It would be greatly appreciated (:

  • Hi there,

What material did you use for the ears? I know you said electrical tape for the actual sphere, but I didn't see any kind of sheen on the ears. Did you just use stretchy velvet? Or felt? I'd really appreciate a specific answer about fabric type. I'm just really picky about details.

And while I'm at it, did you use a wide electrical tape or a regular width roll? Fantastic mau5head and definitely the standard I'm going to be comparing mine to when I'm done.

    Thanks!

  • SONG NAME!

And are those individually placed Rhine stones?

Or are they in the fabric

  • @konner690, Seconded, Song Name Please!

  • What fabric is that

  • Where do you buy it at?1

  • This heads crazy! I've been trying to find at least ONE good mau5 head on here. Best I've seen. Id like to know how you did the rhinestones too haha like at first I thought people were making these out of actual disco balls then I looked at the mouth and wondered how the sparkles were still there.

  • Great head! Best I've seen! What dimensions where the ears and head? I looked through the comments but couldn't find this info. Did you use a arcylic globe for the head? Many thanks

  • How long did it take to place all those rhynstones?

  • would you take less than $275.00

  • @kyleisthebest1 The lowest I would accept is $500 - fortunately its been bid up to that amount. If you were able to see this in person, you would be asking why only $500?f I'm not one to boast, but this Mau5 head is truly amazing. Anytime I have people over they flip out when they see it. They detail & quality is second to none. This is as good as it gets...

However, I do appreciate you interest:)

  • @sinnarg Still for sale?

  • @sinnarg hey will you take $300 and an iPod??

  • @sinnarg well idk if its the best. unless u make the custom ones for deadmau5.

  • Imagine a mau5 head that had LED ears, eyes, lips, and sharp triangle shaped teeth that also light up when music is played. That would be BAD ASS. Hey Sinnarg can you make one for me like that? :D

  • @IGiggidiedYourMom That would be bad ass.

  • @ClexxxOfficial If you read through the comments you'll see all the tips & pointers I've given through responses. Good luck!

  • @ sinnarg haha I watched that thing go on ebay a few weeks back... couldn't believe the price. Congrats!

  • @aztecprince90 Don't have a facebook

  • You sold it for 550 pretty impressive man. How long did it take you to make it? Are you making another one too?

  • @aztecprince90 Thank you!

The final bid was $590, and the buyer is paying $50 for shipping- Total $640. It took me a little over 30 hours to make it. This is my first "Mau5 head" build. Trial & error took up some time, though glueing jewels on one-by-one is where the hours racked up. I'm difinately considering another one. I've been coming up with better design ideas, along with the possibility of incorporating LED panels. However, I would be more inclined by a commissioned project.

  • @sinnarg You got the mouth wrong

  • very nice work man. iv made 3 mau5heads now and sold them on ebay. mad props for gluing all the jewels on like that tho. i thought about doing it, but then i was just like, fuck that. ur bid is up past $500 now, and i cant say i think its unreasonable. careful tho, catbread (the owner of deadmau5 copyrights) likes to go on ebay and remove mau5heads fairly regularly, EVEN if the item has already been sold. mine have been taken off so many times its stupid. but good luck bro. amazing work.

  • @DJJovian Thanks for the compliment, and the head up. Saying goodbye to it is going to be tough. I've been spending the last couple of days building the box that it will be shipped in. It's going to be strapped down, and wrapped in padding. The box is almost as fun to build as the head was:). If I have some free time, I might post a video of it.

    Again, thanks for the compliments....

  • how many acrylic jewels did it take to cover the head?

  • @MrFourThree Very good question!

  • @sinnarg Its not safe to go alone!

    Here take this.

    *1+ internets received*

    Good job! :D

  • I found this on e-bay and made the pictures the background on my phone. You're the reason I'm going to make an all swavarski crystal deadmau5 head!

  • @screamSLUT I just woke up, read this, and you are the reason I'm starting my day off with a smile! Thank you!

  • @sinnarg you're welcome! ;-*

  • @yamisosteez Thanks, but I'm sure if you put in the time it took to make this, I think you would feel differently.

  • that look amazing!

where did you get all of the rhinestones from?

  • @kassielovesyouxx Thanks! You can get them at any craft or art store.

  • so sick! can u tell me from where did u get the skin?

  • @DJWaYOfficialChannel If your talking about the jewels, they were individually glued on:(

  • hey, arent you the guy who made this for ur son?

  • @TaylorFergusson No? Don't have kids...sorry.

  • Was foam board used for the ears? If so, where would I find some of it - An art store or what? I don't even know what it is.

  • @Soroke21 Foamboard usually comes white white, with foam sandwiched between paper. You can get it at art stores, walmart, longs, CVS, ETC.

  • my friend bought one from this place called jackintheboxhead)dotcom

its real nice like this one...this one is real nice...

  • @TranceForYourSoul Thanks!

  • whats the song i want that song and by the way nice job on the head it looks so genuine! :)

  • @12NadaSurf12 No idea about the song. Just chose it from the selection that YouTube offered.

  • whats the song i want that song and by the way nice job on the head it looks so genuine! :)

  • wher can u get the wire mesh?

  • @rcolwick1 hardware store

  • Dude pretty Bad ass

  • NIIIIIIIIIICE=)

  • wher did u get that tiny kinda mesh cuz i used tiny chicken wire

  • @rcolwick1 Any hardware store...

  • dude whats the measurment of the eyes im stuck on my helmet and i need eyes lol

  • @BrOk3NSkuLLs check out my other video. Its gives measurements that should help you...

    (eyes are 5" diameter)

  • whats the right price? lol

  • Hey I'm about to make mine, but I'm wondering:

On the hamster ball, did you put paper mache or something on it before you put the fabric? Or did you just put the fabric directly on the ball?

  • @AMLpwnz Black electric tape...It creates a smooth surface. If you check previous comments, most questions have been answered already, including this one. Good luck, and have fun!

  • What kind of material did you use for the mouth? I know you mentioned wire mesh, but what kind exactly (dimensions, etc.) and where did you find it? Very cool.

  • @tentcitykillah wire mesh. The kind you would use for a screen door, only try and make the gauge as thick as possible. Double it up so that people can't see your face behind it, but you'll have no problem seeing them. Once you've done that, spray paint it with black, high temp, spray paint. I chose the high temp stuff because it leaves a much thicker coat. Any hardware store, or Walmart should carry it. People use it to paint the outside of BBQ's.

  • @tentcitykillah Any hardware store. Also check out my other video. Its gives measurements on certain parts of the head...

  • hey i love daeadmau5 but im 14 nd was wondering if u could mail it to me plz

  • @noyourgayHD That's cute...

  • Nice job dude, glad to see im not the only one that spent hours upon hours applying rhinestones to my head.

  • yeah, me and rowrow are making masks together, any specs would be mad helpful, this is the best mask I've seen I think.

  • @TahChipster Thank you very much! I'm not at home right now, but when I get there, I'll be sure to take measurements for you. What I can tell you right now, is that the upper lip is about an inch or so above the opening of the hampster ball. The bottom (I think, I double check later) is almost 3"-4" below the line. I'll post later on tonight @ midnight Hawaii time.

    Thanks again!

  • @TahChipster Joel posted offical measurements for the head on facebook a while ago.

  • what is the angle of the corners of the mouth and length of the upper lip around? This is a beautiful recreation. best ive seen! you got the ears dead on which is literally what makes or breaks the head.

  • @rowrow2594 Corner to corner is 1/2 the circumference. The bottom lip drops/has more of a curve that the upper lip.

  • what is the material you used under the acrylic gems?

  • @rcolwick1 Black Electric Tape. However, I opened up the ball and literally wrapped each half with one looooong strip - continuous. Not only did this creat a smooth surface, but it also re-enforced the ball. ***I also put hot glue in each ventallation slit to avoid any sagging. Once you cut the mouth out, the ventallation slits start to fold over each other, and everything becomes kind of droopy. You want to somehow re-connect thos slits, so that it retains its shape.

    Hope that made sense-

  • wow good job man! that is really really good.

  • Nicely done! I found getting the ears the right shape to be quite difficult... but you nailed it. Again, nice job! :)

  • looks better than the real thing, what size did you make the ears?

  • @imspent1991 You just made all the work I put into it totally worth it - thank you.

The dimensions of the ears are ~ 13 x 14.

  • realy nice job m8!!!

  • were did you get the dimond material

  • @McFatty818 9mm Acrylic Jewels. glued on 1 by 1
