I agree with you excepted on the power, it's not something eternal, but it's a point of difference that I have with Laibach, anyway I listen here really for their splendid music.

strictly speaking, i don't have a problem with the part of the army's ideology of "join a great thing and fight as one" and i think this is a reason a lot of people join. i just have a problem with the part of the ideology that says "don't think about what you are fighting for , we'll tell you what you are doing and going to do". they put it as "serve" instead of "work together for common goals" . i think if america's economy was not controlled by a 1% then the army could be for peace.

Laibach want to show the totalitarian/fascist subtext of that "good feeling -tune", by use of musical and pictural totalitarian aesthetics; this is a work of art that is a comment on the totalitarian sub-structures of the mass media we usually do not get at first glimpse
