  • hi shroom i have a dragonfly too. i cured thespinning of the front wheel by buying small cheap chair witrh small front castors. If you mount the dragonfly so that they are off the ground at the front, it wont spin any more

  • That'd be sweet to get one with two different pdal points, more like a bike, so your hands are at two different points(able to haveeasier rythem)

  • u're an hero shroom!!

  • Thank you for posting this. It was really helpful. I was thinking about getting one and you answered all my questions.

  • thas THE grooviest wheelchair I ever seen :)

  • So does that mean you recommend this handcycle? Cause I was thinking of getting one...

  • Nice. I have a quickie Cyclone which is the same concept, but it connects via a tube between the legs. Your right about it being a great workout; it gets my heart rate up fast. Right on, Bro.

  • Hi Mushroomjesus,

Thank you for your honest comments.

If the gearing is to high for you we can sell you a $5 cog that will make it easier to crank. The handcyle will attach to your other chair, just give us a call and we can walk you through it 1-888-559-6225.

We wanted to make an attachable handcycle that was similar to an able-body person walking into a Target or Sears store to buy a good working bike, at a great price.

    We did just that!

  • The only problem is, although the wheels are set to have most of the weight on the front wheel, it still spins out and I don't want to add any weight to the chair... I do like the handcycle for a good cardio--just not such a reliable source for transportation--Thanks guys--it was what I was looking for!

  • pretty nifty

  • Yo dude thanks for sharing the video. I think i might buy me one of those.

  • That's a cool gizmo. I bet after you use it for a while it will be easier to do the inclines. You could attach a weight to the front. I wonder how much you would need.
