  • I love them, all of mine are able to be handled, even the moms sitting on babies, all my colonies are used to being interchanged too. I have also upgraded to the lab tubs. THese area great rat!!

  • I am 7 generations in of selective breeding for temperament and mine are getting very sweet. When I bring them treats they will take them from my hand without biting. They let me pick them up, though the juveniles are VERY jumpy. One female I have even brings me food and treats when I open the door and talk to her. So, it is not outlandish to think they can be as sweet as rats with enough effort. :)
