Yeah im a music major studying vocal pedagogy and classical voice and she hasn't hit an off key note. Runs are extremely difficult to pull off and not a lot of people can do it. KCS can very WELL, her sisters can VERY well. Everyone else just copies lol...including me ahh

Not at all...She was in a church setting likely with a musician she hadn't rehearsed with so there was no need to go for the gold. That the problem with some singers, running all over the place, clashing with the chords the musician is playing becuz it was unrehearsed or spur of the moment and it sounds a hot mess..Church crowds are just looking for good singing, the music or music lovers crowd 'needs more' and then she delivers ALL the goods..

Watch the pastor or evangelist behind her in the last 30 seconds of the clip.His facial expressions are so hilarious! The holy spirit was in Karen, and he knew it. Those last few runs she did led this man of God to do some funny stuff, pay close attention.

Not at all...She was in a church setting likely with a musician she hadn't rehearsed with so there was no need to go for the gold. That the problem with some singers, running all over the place, clashing with the chords the musician is playing becuz it was unrehearsed or spur of the moment and it sounds a hot mess..Church crowds are just looking for good singing, the music or music lovers crowd 'needs more' and then she delivers ALL the goods..

I know she can down to bass baritone like Twinkie could but she a very high first soprano though. She is mad versatile. 4:48 and beyond is lethal. Get it Karen!
