@TheJumpyPopcorn Lamento que opineis asi, porque en España ya no teneimos ideologias imperialistas (que vuestro pais tambien tuvo) desde hace varios siglos. Portugal es Portugal, un pais parecido al nuestro, con la misma cultura y que tiene una historia que respeto profundamente tanto como la mía. Los portugueses y los españoles somos hermanos, y me parece triste leer a un español diciendo que Portugal es España o a un Portuges odiando a España.

Apenas defendi o meu país Portugal de um tarado imperialista espanhol que se mete prá qui a dizer que é dele o que não é. Não odeio a Espanha nem os espanhóis, pelo contrário. Gosto muito do meu país e simpatizo com a Espanha porque e o país mais parecido com o meu. Mas passo-me quando certos individuos têm a lata de vir a um video sobre Portugal e dizer isso, quando nós somos nada mais do que irmãos.

Si algun idiota dice que tu país pertenece a España levantado conflictos absurdos del siglo XVII, eso es para provocar, simplemente, es un disparate, asi que no hay que hacerle caso.

no we did not. Netherlands did. We abolish slavery really early and we always treated right the colonial people. We did not kill entiere tribes like the spanish, like de english and we alsways were ok with interracial marriage, not like the french that made their women come back to france once they were pregnat so they would not give birth in argelia, zaire etc etc

Slavery already existed in ancient times, so Portuguese certainly didn´t invent it. But yes, they began slave trade with Africans. Arabs (Moors) were ,,suplying" them with slaves.

we hardly "invented" slavery! It existed long before we started trading slaves. Also, we were the first to abolish it in Europe. As for being the nation that best treated its colonies well, that is arguable!
