They go by my house everynight, singing a song that goes "la mas guapa chica del bario, la mas hermosa de la universidad". Anybody know what that is called?
es lo mejor que hay... ... si has estado en una callejoneada sabes que no hay palabras para describir la alegria y lo que se siente en esos momentos... lo mejor de guanajuato.. y que buenas borracheas se inician con las callejoneadas. :D
@Bessieandkyle haha don't pay attention to these ignorant people lol by the way did you guys visit the mummies. I miss Guanajuato only been there 5 times haha
oh please! inform yourself! these are usually university groups following a Spanish tradition! estudiantinas. callejoneadas is because they take place in "callejon" colonial architecture street. In Puerto Rico they are pretty common during Christmas time.
@vwlover94 DID YOU KNOW MEXICANS CAME FROM SPANISH ??? WELL THATS WHY THE MUSIC SOUNDS SO SIMILAR. GUANAJUATO LOOKS LIKE MEDIEVAL TIMES, ITS SO BEAUTIFUL. I'VE BEEN THERE SO MANY TIMES.
That would be super cool to meet the governor of Gto, but we're in Costa Rica at the moment. However, while you are in Chicago you must go get a drink at the top of the Hancock tower (there's a restaurant/bar there...can't remember the name). It's the best view of the city, especially at night!
Don't Worry We are very happy doing stupid stuffs in Guanajuato. "Saludos la Estudiantina se divierte con la gente", that is all. We gonna visit Chicago next september fourth whith Mr. Oliva, Governor of Gto, if you want meet Us We'll very happy, please writing me. Grettings from Guanajuato!!!
By stupid we mean silly, embarrassing, funny. Sorry that you took it to mean anything else.
We have been recommending people to visit Guanajuato but after your comment and some others about our other Guanajuato video, maybe we should re-consider and send them somewhere else. The people we met in Guanajuato seemed super nice, but then again I guess the people we met there not the kind of people who stay home, surf YouTube and make jerk comments to other people.
No worries. We travel so that there is more cultural understanding. We've heard people called "fatty, whitey, blacky, old guy" and other nicknames that would be offensive in English, but don't have the same sentiment in Spanish. You have to put everything in context. For example, we can say "chingaste" all day long in El Salvador because it has a totally different meaning then what it means in Mexico. Such is the beauty and frustration of languages...
bessieandkyle: You're doing a good job. I hope my "paisano" is going to put all this in context. You are promoting our city so that's very good. Actually we all apreciate what you're doing with this Guanajuato videos.
Hey, we're from Chicago! Say hi to Chicago for us! If you know a good place to get mole in Chicago, let us know. We want to be able to take our friends to a place that has mole that tastes like it does in Mexico (if possible).
thanks for your comments & the video Bessie and Kyle. It's fantastic . We undertand perfectly, the sense of the word before you explain. SALUDOS DESDE GUANAJUATO DE PARTE DE LA ESTUDIANTINA!!! We gonna visit Chicago next month!!! with Guanajuato's Governor. See ya!!!
