color can cause lag because its not changeing just one thing its changeing every single area that has color in it every object that was placed in the game and had color applied to it & that is not considered a backround but a object unit it wqill change color so the lag comes from every time you change the color the whole entire game changes color to so all of it being done @ once causes the lag
