@detboy600 chances are you could, more cone area, but on the regular I would say you would get outpushed, the xmax and sensitivity on the btl are much better then what the lv 4 is rated for, but 2x lv5 i give u that probably easily outpush 1x btl, but would that really be cost effective? 1x 18inch btl is less then 600 usd

@mmastylez well my level 4 18 is louder than 2 people who have BTL's and they are each power by a T2500-1bdcp so yea... and about the xmax i mean obviously a 18 has more than a 12 but surface area will still be the winner the enclosure matters a ton as well.

@mmastylez are you tryng to say 1 btl is as good as 2 level 5's from DC?... if so you are either inexperienced or uninformed. the btl is a tad bit better at handling music. the level 5 will eat the BTL in burping on 10 - 20k per sub. DC has some of the best excursion also.
