Johnny Be Goode!!! ( Winter that is) We were on the Same Drug Rehab 80s early 90s..Dont know Much about Science Books...Or any of That French I took....But My Lack of Education hasnt Hurt Me None I Can Read the Writing On The Wall......
Thanks Casey!!! Never Heard SRV Do This Gotta Check It Out.. He Used a Lot of His Tones and Riffs along With Johnny Winters and Albert Kings Lines....Hendrix Stands Out In His Sound...
Thanks Jose !! I was Lucky I got to See These bands Before they Went to The Big Arenas.. You Could get Close to Them in The Fillmore.. Johnny Winters Manager Steve Paul Had a Club on The Westside Of Manhatten .. Hendrix use to Go there.. Never saw Him Though .. But Through a Friend who Was The Manager There I was Introduced to Noel Redding His Bass Player .. Great Guy We Had a beer and Spoke a Bit...Met Johnny Winter .. The Gratful Dead.. and Sly and The family Stone ,a Friend worked for Them..
ahhhhh!!!! no way. this freakin' rocks! Makes you feel like jamming!
although for a recording studio, I'm surprised the sonics aren't just a little crisper. probably one of those "just hit record and capture it" moments. haha!
Thanks Paul!!!!!!!!!Its a Rehearsal/ Recording Studio...We Never Recorded There Though... They Had a Cassette Recorder set up If You Wanted to Just Record your Practices Thats where this is From I Have the Tapes and Put Most of it on CDs.. The Quality aint Great but its Good Enough...We wanted to Record Back then it just Never Happened..Anyway I got these Recordings.........

Hi dear Carl, wow ... all the stars to you for another entertaining vid and great choice of song!!!!! He sure was the best of all times!!!. Thank you for posting. Love and Light Sharine
Great Cover Carl. Please, let me make you some question. Did you you watch to Jimi in live? I would like to know someone who did it, and can tell me what he felt.
I Seen Hendrix a few Times 1968 in Qns NY the Singer Bowl...at Woodstock 1969..But the Best Place was the Fillmore East in NYC in 1968..It was a Small Theatre 3,000-5,000 People You Could stand in The Aisle less then 20- 30 Feet away If You didnt have close seats..I also Heard His Last Concert There with the Band of Gypsies New Yeras Eve 1969/1970.. Couldnt get in But Heard him Fine at The Side Doors...Thats the Concert The Album Was Recorded From..I started Going To Concerts in 1967...
Hey Nancy!!! Yeah I got about 10 cds of Material from the Band Mainly Practice Sessions and Some jams Mixed In..I Still see Glen from Time to Time Howard Past away on 2009....He's alive Here Though!!!
Thanks Archie!!! They were heavy into Funk/Jazz.. Hendrix is Where We Found Common Ground....They Use to call me a Hillbilly...LOL!!!! Too Much Country/rock I Guess!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Don!! Got a Little Bit of Soul Left in these old Bones..LOL!!!!.....We Got 7.7 Inches in Allentown..Shoveled out on Sat then Posted this up...How did You Do???
This jam is great- I'm looking for my old Band of Gypsies album as it goes toward your vid. Heading down your way early this morning, was worried about the roads, we didn't get a flake. Don
