  • Russia spends 27billion pounds on defence each year, America spends 450 billion pounds on defence each year. threat is not from Russia but from America. click justice party UK. for greatest news.

  • stupid americans

  • Its blackhole technology they fired it over an ocean and it sucks up anything within 100 miles. So imagine if they fired it over a 100,000 man army they would all be sucked up and no more army.. Orover a city sucks it up gone in 2 mins.. pretty clever if you ask me.

  • my opinion on this i am happy to hear the NATo and Russia have re-launch a military co-op. about time Nato wake the fuck up and stop living in what happen in the past.

  • I'd like to know in what direction those missiles will be placed in. Will it be nuclear? So we will have Chemical, biological AND nuclear weapons strewn throughout the world, and they're worried about Global Warming? How ridiculous.

Get rid of NATO, UN, WHO and EU Dictatorship.

  • NATO-Russia missile defense against ... who? China?

  • FUCK NATO !!!

    NATO - NAZIS

    head by Chancellor Rasmussen

let the fools fight their own wars and DIE in BODY BAGS

Not a single Yank is worth my finger

  • Hmm what name this journalist, you don't know? She so sweet ^^

  • Finally common sense prevails.

  • bread and circus

    same leaders at the top.

  • bread and shows are better than confrontations.

  • Wolf is sworn to sheeps in eternal friendship while he was not hungry.

  • russia has been waiting and waiting for there chance to rise again. i wouldnt trust them

  • What exactly do you mean? They're not evil and out to conquer the world, sorry. All they wish for is a good alliance with NATO so that their people would cease worrying about WW3.

  • so, do not, newfoundlander. i guess harsh living conditions made you so sceptical. do you speak French, btw?

  • Newfie: And why shouldn't they? They would have liberated the Balkans and Constantinople 100 years ago without W. European intervention. They would have rescued Armenia from genocide had not the communists intervened. They have valid claims that the West is not to be trusted.

  • 1. I think there is to late for "liberation" of Stambul (or Istanbul, if you like so).

    2. Armenians were genocided at Osman empire's territory in 1914-1915, so it was almost impossible to stop it. Russia have had two longest fronts in Europe (with Germany and Austria) + turkish front.

    3. And of course there were no communists in this time. Lenin was in Swiss, Trotskiy also in Europe or US (he wasn't sitting in one place).

4.>They have valid claims that the West is not to be trusted.

    Agree.

  • Nitorus:

    1. It is never too late to restore Orthodox services to St. Sophia.

    2) The Russians had advanced into Ottoman occupied Armenia through 1916. The Bolshevik Revolt saw those gains wiped out. And the genocide of Armenians began. The Treaty of Kars was the final nail in the Armenian's coffin.

    3. Had the Czar's Armies not collapsed due to Bolshevism and Lenin's acceptance of the Brest-Litosk Treaty, Armenia, with Russian assistance, would have expelled the Turks.

  • I dont think Russia is that stupid. They probably thought this well out, so dont worry. They just getting closer to the problem.

  • Russia must stop every kind of cooperation with NATO and U.S. for ever.

  • lol why

  • Because NATO uses friendships and alliances as a tool to screw up the enemy from all aspects.

  • Bla bla bla, reptilian Rasmussen. No one trusts you, puppet.

All this "reset" crap have no results, it's just a show for sheeple. NATO is a criminal organisation, which have purpose - destabilisation of Eurasia. It continues to arm their puppet in Georgia for next operation against civillians and provocations. It continues to spread propaganda in Ukraine, but instead of it the support of Russia is rising their.

  • THAT'S RIGHT !

  • NATOrious is exactly right.

  • Nato has to become the NWO army therefore they need Afghan war going to expand its powers to operate as world army and can be sent any ware on the world.

Al the world is a stage and all man and women merely actors.

  • IF Russia is stupid enough to get involved with NATO on a defense shield in Europe, they will lose my support instantly. As far as I know, Russians are not stupid enough to share the best anti-missile system with the terrorists from NATO, their competitors and their potential enemy. US and NATO want to work with Russia on a shield to steal the technology.

I hope that Putin and Medvedev have not been affected by sclerosis and will make the right decision: To send US and NATO for a walk!

  • NATO is not potential enemy

  • I agree NATO is not a potential enemy, IF you forgot what happened in Serbia and Georgia. They are not enemies if you forgot that the country that leads NATO helped Georgia against Russia when the conflict was started by the "victims" whom started fighting their own people.

I think you should also remember that US insists on putting a shield in East Europe because their systems are not too good against the new Russian missiles and Russia has the best defense system and they were forbid to use it

  • shockolanu: Not all Americans supported the rescue of muzlim terrorists in Kosovo and Chechnya. Nor do all Americans support an expansionist Georgia, though fighting between Orthodox countries is always sad.

The interlude of communism broke cordial relations between Russia and the US. I hope for a return to that status.

  • Who was talking about rescuing muslims? I'm talking about bombing Serbian civilians without a previous warning.

People whom take such decisions should not be trusted. Your government can't be trusted. They want to get their hands on the Russian anti-missile system because the US one is very weak. My suggestion to US is that they should take decisions in their own country, they can't just come into Europe and say: I want to do this or I want to do that.

    It is unethical.

  • shockolanu: The Albanian invaders and their muzlim friends were very good at falsely promoting themselves as victims. This was the justification Americans received from Clinton to attack Serbia. Many of us have since learned that the Serbs were the victims. And many more of us want to stop these foreign adventures.

Ethics is not as important as the fact that the US understands little of the situation in the Balkans and the Caucasus. Russia does.

  • 4GooMan: Very true. I recall seeing members of the Albanian community of NYC on CNN, the ABC & CBS news and possibly 60 Minutes giving all their "woe is me" speeches and having a ticker tape parade and protest and all that mumbo jumbo. Then of course the Liberal do gooders in the media pitched in and made it sound as if we were going on a crusade to save these poor abused and oppressed people from the Serbs. Of course I like most Americans at the time didn't have a clue about the goings on.

  • Shock: Ever since the end of the Cold War some in this country, in particular in Washington have said "the US has to be the world's police" With regards to Serbia, most Americans haven't a clue or really an interest in Eastern European politics. As time has wore on more & more are realizing the stupidity of being the "world's police". Even if we want to we can't afford to do it anymore, trying to do so has been such a cost we can't afford. The American people are sick of our government's lies.

  • BradNC11175: Do something about it.

  • Shock: I would love to, but I'm not Rambo or Superman. Things can not stay this way though. This country is in the toilet and most people know it. Like it or not, one way or another it can not and will not remain this way before long. People around the world seem to know that as good if not better than Americans do.

  • i agree

  • shockolanu: Putin is perhaps the wisest statesman in the world at present. And he puts his country's interests above his own. He is in remarkably good health. There should be no concern whatsoever about him making a decision that serves the interest of Mother Russia.

  • I can't agree more that he is wise and in good health but I think that accepting a cooperation on a missile shield in Europe would bring more technical problems for Russia, even if it would bring some stability in the region. This should be weight very carefully.
